His Mrs. Right

Rate this book
From the moment Brice meets Danielle, he knows he has to have her. She makes his dick hard, and above all else, she makes him feel. No other woman has ever consumed him like this.

Danielle is attracted to Brice, but the first time they meet, he’s with another woman. She has no interest in dating a womanizer.

Determined to win her over, Brice gives himself to her to use for her creations in the kitchen. He’ll get to try her new recipes and win his way into her heart. But he’s come to realize he not only wants to fuck her, he wants to take her as his, to put his ring on her finger and a baby inside her.

With the press posting their own stories about them, Danielle can’t handle the pressure of her parents. When Brice gives her a suggestion for them to pretend to be together, she decides to play along.

But is it only pretend? When she’s with Brice, he makes her feel. He makes her want things she didn’t think she ever would. Between Danielle’s fears and their interfering parents, can the pair get a happy ending?

Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

This is a sweet read that is for sure, Sam Crescent always draws me in and I am hooked from start to finish.

Brice is a renowned playboy and makes no secret of his love for women, coming from a wealthy family he is used to women throwing themselves at him and also a successful business man in his own right has only made him more appealing. After a chance meeting with Danielle at a charity dinner he is immediately obsessed with her and although he is on a date makes no secret of the fact that he wants her, ok try not to judge here. But Brice is a determined man and sets out to get what he wants even though she shuts him down at pretty much every chance she gets but that only makes him more determined to make her his and soon that changes from just right now to wanting her always now all he has to do is convince her to take a chance on this being a real deal.

Danielle is a famous celebrity chef and successful business woman writing cookbooks and having her own show plus being the heiress to a family legacy, her parents want nothing more for her to settle down with a man of their choosing but so far she has managed to avoid any entanglements, that is until Brice storms into her life and tries to seduce her, she offers him friendship especially after he tries to hit in her when he was on a date with another woman. But soon that friendship turns into something much more and as much as she tries to fight it she cant. Will she get her heart broken if she gives in to the desire she feels for Brice or will she actually have a HEA that she didn’t even know she was looking for?

This is a totally safe read with low angst and a great HEA.

"His Mrs. Right" is the story of Danielle and Brice.

When our H meets the h, he is instantly smitten and knows she is the one. However, as he's there at the party with OW, the heroine takes offense and despite him declaring he has no feelings for the latter, she makes him werk for it.

The whole story is the hero relentlessly pursuing a commitment phobic heroine who makes the hero sweat in her lust. He is 100% into her, they are both hot for each other and the sex is super amazing too once they get to it. There are breeding undertones, a lot of love, some crazy parents and a sweet HEA.

I'm glad SC ended the year with a bang!

Brice decides the moment he meets Danielle that she will be his but Danielle has no interest in being another notch on his bed post. Brice decides to try a different tactic to woo Danielle, he becomes her friend and recipe sampler. Danielle is a popular tv chef and Brice is willing to do anything to have her by his side. Danielle though initially is reluctant to be more then friends especially since her parents are always looking for a suitable suitor for marriage that can take over her parents company. Can Danielle trust Brice enough to see more than a rich bachelor?

I liked this one a lot. Hit every checkbox for me. I liked Brice, he seems a bit off his game with Danielle and I really enjoyed that element of the story. Danielle is great, could easily see her as a chef on television. Great entertainment.

It's a good story by Sam to finish this year.
Dannielle and Brice... I loved that she wasn't a puddle at Brice feet at first glance and made him to work. And he was doing it hard. Annoyingly pushy sometimes, but it was working for Dannielle.
Though, I have to say she gave in too easily into his intrigues. It was worse, when his reasoning was contradicting or could be so easily demolished. So, it gave me impression, that both of them knew almost from the beginning, that this 'something' between them is more and was just playing dumb to not acknowledge it to themselfs.
Their dance around each other was something to 'watch'. I felt a lot of feelings. Sometimes I chuckled, sometimes I just wanted to shake them. But either way, you for sure aren't bored.

My first impression of Brice was "manwhore"! LOL But as the story develops, we find out more and more about him. Danielle is a star in her own right and keeps resisting the men her parents are trying to fix her up with. What happens when 2 people get together and discover there is more than just friendship at stake here? I loved how the story progressed and was surprised at who was the one resisting the relationship. Loved it and can't wait for more!!!

Bored out of my mind. DNF. Definitely a quick read but that’s not the issue here.

One thing I’ve noticed Sam seems to struggle with in her writing is her MC’s dynamic development.

Several times I’ve read in her novels, including this one, is the MC’s will feel strongly to start off with then randomly pull a 180 & be in love or have a complete personality change by the next chapter.

There’s no progression between the two characters or any kind of build up; it just randomly changes out of no where and the novel begins to take a new route.
This is frustrating primarily because it turns into a rushed story and skips many moments that the readers should be experiencing so we can truly enjoy growing with the characters.

Chapter 1:
Heroine: I hate you!
Hero: I hate you too!

Chapter 2:
Heroine: I want to marry this person.
Hero: I’m picking out engagement rings. We’ve been through so much together, I want to spend my life with her.

?????

I get it, Insta-love. But to jump that fast? Come on.
It’s just too random and turns the story dull very quickly.

I like Sam’s books, I really do, but running into this issue in several novels gets old. Fast.

As you can probably guess by now, that scenario applies to this read.

Brice is annoyingly pushy. Heroine is okay.

Nothing special in this read. You’re not missing out.

How The Mighty Fall...For THE ONE.

I LOVED Danielle & Brice's story! I got so many of my favorites in this book, it was impossible for me not to be thrilled.

Millionaire Businessman, successful culinary business woman, curvy girl, a reformed rake thanks to finding the right woman and a woman who wasn't willing to fall for the H simply for his looks, money and sex appeal.

I know some readers don't like when the H or h have a sexual past and yes this is a topic in the book, but to me it makes it more realistic and I loved how exes and past history was addressed and dealt with in this book. Sure I like a book to be an escape and a bit of a fantasy but even a fantasy should be on the realistic side. So to me this book was a hit and a gem, glad I one-clicked it!

I like the courting part in this book. Sam Crescent really know how a real man should be when it came down to courting (well, not real-real man; it's more romance-kinda-real-man. Well, you know what I mean). It's all oh so sweet! And just like her many other books on curvy woman, this one also didnt fail to bring up body shaming issues. I liked that she always wanted to show that every woman deserved to feel good about themselves as long as they're healthy. And this book is no different with h that's ready to take charge of her own destiny and empowered!! I like my h to be strong, independent, and knew exactly what she wanted in life!!

I think my main feeling after finishing this one was bafflement.....I enjoyed both characters; Brice was your typical entitled rich asshat/manho and Danielle was perpetually cheery and independent. Together they were sweet and I liked the whole let's be friends thing but I was just so confused about Danielle's hang up about taking it to the next level. She was used to only FWB so what was she so concerned about with Brice?? It would've been a win-win for her, she'd get the fun sexy times with him and get her parents off her back. It did have a good ending and they were super cute as 'friends'!

Not a bad story at all. The female lead to me was very impressive. She was a strong independent woman. Who was not a virgin. I would have loved that she stood up to her socialite mother. Especially the time that her mother had the audacity to go into the daughter's home uninvited. Without even a phone call to warn her she was coming. Or even for trying to interfere with her career. I also liked the male lead. When he realized his feelings for the female lead how he wore her down and eventually snagged her.

Another perfect HEA

When you think of the perfect relationship this is the story that you will see. A chance meeting changed everything, setting in motion a love story that will forever be remembered. The perfect woman will bring her guy to his knees because he wants to be there. In this book Brice knew Danielle was meant to be his and he set out to be her perfect mate. He more than succeeded, overcoming all of her trepidations and leading them to their perfect HEA.

HIS MRS. RIGHT is a sexy insta-love romance about a millionaire and an equally successful chef and businesswoman. Brice was the consummate playboy but when he saw Brice for the first time at an event, he had his eyes on her forever. I super enjoyed the great lengths he had to do to win her over, even to the point of volunteering to be her food tester. And both of their parents were funny and delightful. This was one of Sam Crescent's sweet light reads which I absolutely FLOVED.

I did enjoy this book who wouldnt as its written to perfection and the characters are outstanding the only reason im giving it this rating as I found Danielle really irratating I wanted her to have more balls and not let her parents or Brice push her. At first Brice irritated me but I'm admit he grew on me allot.

I love the author I'm addicted to her books.

Super short and to the point. I liked how this author sells the fantasy, and from having read another book (Sweethearts) you can definitely tell the author has a formula and is sticking with it, which works.
