For an author's first book I feel she did well! Great storyline, story flowed well and the character names are different which I liked.
Lendal is a woman I'd love to have as a best friend. She knows what she wants and goes after it. It was great to read a book about an independent woman and takes care of her self. And the love she has for her dog warms my heart. Then you have the hot tattooist Cheric who is definitely swoon worthy! You will fall in love with him instantly just like Lendal does. There is a hint of crime in this book but it doesn't take over the book but it's just in the background until things get to the end. Even though this was a insta-love book I enjoyed it; some times when you know you have to follow your heart.

I am usually all about low expectations with an author's debut, however, I am blown away with with Linz Lenay and her ability to not only give me a hero is strong, alpha, protective, and oh so sexy, but she gave me my first girl crush. She gave me a character with a backbone. She gave me a fewmale character who managed to handle her difficult circumstances with bravery and strength.
Lendal was SUPERWOMAN! She knew what she wanted and went after it oh so fearlessly.. all I can say is
Cheric was a multifaceted ALPHA hero who showed you his sweet side, naughty side, and his oh so bad boy delicious side.
This review will be edited when the author releases. Linz Lenay is definitely a one click for me. From her plot to her character development and secondary characters, this is one romance I most definitely will be rereading.

I need to start out by saying that I was shocked beyond belief that Shutter For Me is a debut book, as it was so good, that if I hadn't known ahead of time, I would never would have noticed. So it's safe for me to say in my opinion, that this author is going to have a fabulous career, and thank goodness, she's willing to share her extreme talent with the world! Photographer Lendal Kristo had her eye on the ink slinging bad boy across the street, but she's not aware that he has had his eye on her as well. Cheric Sterling finally breaks the ice, and they start on the journey of getting to know each other. I loved Lendal so much, as she's someone that I would love to have as a friend with the way she knows her mind, and is driven to go after it. Not to mention that she's an independent woman who has no problem taking care of herself. Add in the drool worthy hottie that I fell in love with instantly, they were steamy magic together. With the f-bomb dropping worthy twists, my heart raced from excitement. I'm already half in love with this new author, so I'm super excited to see what she comes up with next, as I will be keeping my eye out for this new talent in the book world! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

So this book had a good story and i for one am very into tattoo artists heroes so i enjoyed that. The reason i gave it 3 stars is because i am peculiar with mafia or mob like books and they have to be exceptionally written with many other elements included in order for me to really love. My issue here is just the flow of the story was not as excellent as it could've been and it made it difficult sometimes to keep up. There was also the issue that i felt there was a lot going on in the story. That said, it is my personal likes and dislikes but this was a good story. I think author has potential and i would read another book of hers.

Such an amazing book from a debut author.
Shutter For Me held your attention from the very first page. Fast paced story, but didn't lack a storyline. This book was detailed, but didn't drag on!! It was thrilling, exciting, suspenseful and hot!!!
I don't want to give away the good parts, but I can say Cheric and Lendal are amazing together. You can feel their love and trust for one another.

Linz Lenay did such an amazing job with shutter me the blurb had me hooked really wanted to see how this was going to go , loved the connection that Lendal and Cheric share so if you a looking for instant love then this is the book for you . From the very beginning I adored the hero and heroine so glade games weren't played and there wasn't unnecessary drama when they are in they are fully in they also have furbabies witch I show a strong affection with and always happy to see adorable dogs in books that was a star in itself . Lendal was such a strong heroine you don't find many like her in this kind of genre she's funny , talented , and doesn't hide how she fells . Cheric is just yummy has everything you need in a book boyfriend he's kind , funny , strong , alpha , and knows how to treat his woman very protective . Can't wait to see whats to come for this new author

Lendal has noticed the hot guy across the street for a while now, so when he just sits at her table while she is drinking her morning coffee, she is a bit taken by surprise. Cheric has noticed Lendal and not quite stalked her but always kept an eye out in hopes of seeing her. The two hit it off right away, but there is more to Cheric than Lendal knows, and he isn't sure how she is going to take it. When Lendal starts being followed and weird things start to occur, Cheric steps in and takes over the situation, but will that be enough?
This is the author's first book, and it was a very good first try. This has the insta-love thing going on, which I don't mind normally, but I felt this was way too fast. There were a few things that, IMO, were missing or left out. But this was a solid first book, the sexy times were ok, a bit of drama, and violence, and bonus tattooed sexy alpha! I give this 3.75 stars, I can't wait to see the progression of this author, she will only get better.

This is a debut book for Linz Lenay. The story was different and good. However, I felt like the beginning was shaky, like it was trying find it’s way. It did about halfway through. The characters come across like we should have known them prior and that bothered me just a bit. That being said, I did enjoy this book. Once I hit that halfway mark, I couldn’t put it down. I do like how the characters were written. Who doesn’t like sassy women and sexy men? There is some action along with some feels moments. I look forward to reading more from this author. I give this 4 stars.

I liked this book! A hot tattoo artist with an accent? What’s not to like! I liked the characters and the dog Kraken! The story was well written and had enough twists to keep me reading. Lendal is a sassy, independent photographer, and I really liked her. My only issue was the instalove. I’m not a fan of it. I’m also not a huge fan of Mob/Mafia books. I had gone into this book blind, and came out satisfied. I definitely would love to read more from this author!

I'm impressed
The fact that this is a first is impressive. I'm giving four stars based on the storyline and content. The story grabbed my attention and held it. I'm hoping there will be more.
It's not perfect when it comes to grammar but I have high hopes this new author will go far. Great job, loved it.

I read this book as my time permitted, therefore it took a little while, but oh, so worth it. I thought this book was well written for a first time writer. The storyline was very good and it kept my attention. The love that developed between the main characters jumped off the page at you. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author, she's amazing.

I loved it!
Loved the book and had a hard time putting it down! I do hope that maybe there will be more books on either them or some of the other characters....like Bas and Lizy?

Needs major editing
The story seems good but pages repeat onto the other pages so you can't glow through the story. Hopefully she will re edit and re release
