A children's picture book filled with detailed black and white pen and ink illustrations in the old style as this is a 'new', 'old style' cautionary folk tale set in the Carpathian mountains of Transylvania, however, no vampires! Instead, the subject is spring and our stewardship of the earth told through the magical adventures of a little boy.

With a degree from RIT in the arts, very frequently her novels are interspersed with her own illustrations! She is also a supporter and volunteer of the Rutland County Humane Society where she worked in Animal Care for 9 years. A portion of the profits from her books are continually donated to this organization. She is a member of the Speculative Literature Society and the Independent Publishers of New England. She recently won an 'Indie' award for 'The Legend of Now: Wingless' together with the author. She is currently working on a YA fantasy with Vermont as its setting.
