Andrew Atherton.Self-absorbed.Flagrant playboy.Heir to his family's business.Demanding jerk; at least, he used to be.When I walked out 10 years ago, he was partying next to supermodels - I never looked back.I traveled the world, fighting noble causes until I landed in Botswana to create a home for orphaned kids. Not sexy, but I've made a difference.I won't lie, I totally missed his hypnotic eyes - deep kisses, and his electric touch that lit me on fire. But I'd moved on.Until Andrew literally crashed back into my life.I fought my feelings for him as long as I could, but once he touched me, I couldn't resist. He says he's changed; wants to help me, love me, never let me go.That's great...but our lives are on two different continents.More importantly, what will happen when he finds out I'm carrying his baby?

ARC was given to me by author. My review is given completely volunterly and all comments/ thoughts are mine alone.

Beloved by You from Molly Sloan. This is book 2 in A Billionaire Second Chance Romance series.
I gave this book 5 stars. This was the first book I read by this author, and I was really impressed with it. Andrew and Janet have a history together, but they haven't seen each other in years.
Andrew’s and Janet’s families had different missions in life. The Athertons were diamond miners — the very industry that was threatening the indigenous people Janet was fighting to protect. and Janet was the descendant of Stephen Girard, the wealthy philanthropist who’d donated his fortune to the education and welfare of orphans.
Janet has been in Botswana the past few years building her orphanage house "Place of Grace" to support the poor children that have lost their parents due to Aids.
This book actually has some serious content subject matters that pulls at your heartstrings. The story is a second chance at love, Hot rich billionaires, Beautiful smart women, Great friends, There is corruption issues, Mystery suspense, jealousy, and at last HEA

Choppy yet good

Overall quality of writing was fair. Good story line, but choppy. Good awareness on HIV/AIDS, along with the orphan children. Always pay it forward. Putting good out there only comes back ten fold. No cheating or cliffhanger and you get a happy ever after.

Quindi, prima di tutto, thank u Molly Sloan for this beautiful gift!.

«[...] 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰? 𝐅𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝...». 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦. «𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞,» 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫.

Janet and Andrew have history, They had problems, but Andrew thought they could work them out if they tried. Janet left him a dear john letter and went back to America. Andrew got his MBA from the London school of Business
and now headed the Acquisitions division of the family business. Andrew just doesn’t know how he will get along without.Janet. Janet has been doing humanitarian work for the last 15 years, and is currently in Botswana helping at “A Place of Grace” an orphanage for children who have lost parents to HIV. Currently Janet is watching over Obe a 5 year old while his mother is in the hospital dying. Obe forgot to give his mother a kiss goodnight when they left the hospital and turned and started to run back the way they came and ran out into the street..Janet ran after him, caught him but traffic was coming head on....as it happens Andrews caravan of trucks stop just in time Janet and Obe are halfway under a truck.. Andrew picks up Janet and Obe and takes them to the hospital they are injured. This is the start of the story....I absolutely loved this.....Romantic Suspenseful Mystery. I was given this ARC copy and I voluntarily leave this review.

A love story that encompasses time and cultures. We get a peek not only into the world of the mega-rich but also into the unique culture of Botswana (southern Africa). Hearing about the respect the characters had for the people was an interesting perspective, and an important character all its own.
Here in among the orphans of Botswana we find Janet trying to make life a little easier for them while gaining financial support. Then Andrew her ex-boyfriend happens to see her again and knows this is his second chance. Things don’t go smoothly between misunderstandings and subterfuge. Enjoyed the way the author took all the loose strands and wove them together into a beautiful tapestry.

Andrew and Janet were a couple then suddenly Janet left him without a word. Andrew went to pieces at the time but now still loves and dreams of her even if he doesn’t know where she is. Andrew goes to Botswana to purchase a new mine for the family business Atherton diamond. There he meets Janet again as he literally nearly runs her and Oba over. They meet again at the miners office and agree to meet but someone is trying to split them up by giving Janet wrong information. This is a good romantic story that you must read.

This is my first good steamy romance by a good romance author! Janet fell in love with Andrew in college but they were not on the same wavelength so she left. Andrew knew immediately that he let the love of his life slip through his fingers. One phrase that is my pet peeve when it is often misquoted is "if you think ..., then you have another think coming. Many authors say you have another thing coming. I finally decided to comment on it. I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this series! Janet is Beloved by You: Andrew is A Billionaire Second Chance candidate.

A well written, emotionally deep, heartwarming and endearing second chance romance. The storyline is flawless, very interesting, flows smoothly, and moves along at a brisk pace with some drama and a mix of emotions on every page. Loveable characters; the chemistry between Andrew and Janet is intense and HOT! This book met all of my expectations and then some! From start to finish I was held captivated with the overall quality, the wonderful story line, and the very interesting characters. A really passionate and exciting read! Definitely recommended.

This is the first book I have read of Molly Sloan and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.
A well developed plot with characters that are real and likable. I got into the story from the beginning and kept turning the pages. This story is filled with emotion, danger, suspense, betrayal, and love. Part of the plot also integrates the scourge of corruption and poverty in Africa and the heartbreaking consequences of it.
This a standalone with a HEA and an epilogue that I enjoy as it wraps the story up. I can recommend this for readers 18+. A nice quick read I am sure you will enjoy.

This was a very quick read for me. I was drawn into Andrew and Janet’s story right from the start and I couldn’t put it down. Kudos to the author for setting the main part of the story in a part of the world rarely mentioned and focusing on humanitarian issues to boot. It was a pleasant surprise and in my mind, gave this book added depth. I genuinely liked not only Andrew and Janet but their friends as well. Enjoy!

This was a wonderful about 2nd chances, jealously and good deeds. Janet and Andrew had been together quite a few years ago and he literally ran into her in Africa when she darted out in front of him to save a child. She runs an orphanage and he mines for diamonds. Very different, yes? When she tells him how corrupt the government is, he gets really involved. The story moved along quickly and was very enjoyable to read. I've already signed up for Beholden to You

I really enjoyed this book. This storyline is written as a second chance between Andrew who is a playboy and Janet. The author wrote him as a playboy model and Janet opens an orphanage and helps ppl and their family with aids. I loved how she gave Janet a purpose that will mean a lot to real live ppl. This is a great heartfelt read. I don't like how Andrew keeps his ex lover in his life not only that but lets Janet interact with her....other then that lol I love it.

Characters you can get attached to...

This is the second book that I've read by this author. I really enjoyed the continued story of the Atherton family. Andrew is a likable billionaire with ethics and morals. Janet is strong-willed and has a sense of purpose.

The story entertaining and you get to escape for just a little while. Well worth a read if you're just looking for something fun while you are commuting or just relaxing. Definitely a feel-good book with a happy ending.

A second chance romance. She let him so because he was a self-absorbed billionaire playboy. Her heart was in being a humanitarian and making a difference. Ten years later she's making a difference with her orphanage when he reappears in her life. The steams still there. Plenty of twists and surprises. No spoiler here, but this is a good read that I read via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review.

A really good read.
She had left him because he was a self-absorbed billionaire playboy and her heart was in being a humanitarian and making a difference. Ten years later she is running her orphanage and he crashes back into her life.
Will say chemistry is still there and this holds plenty of twists and turns for you.
Kudos to the author for another great story!

This follows Beholden to you and Andrew & Janet have a past together and when they reconnect later, they realize that the spark is still there. The story is set in Botswana and will describe the issues at hand with clarity and humanity. The drama, suspense and deceitfulness in the storyline will make this one that you wont`want to put down.

This follows on from Beholden To You & tells the story of Andrew & Janet who had history & they reconnected in Botswana which is close to my heart. Beautifully crafted book full of emotions, passion, danger & betrayal but beyond all a love to move mountains & make a significant difference in the world. Might just mention that the sexual chemistry wasn't half bad either!

This story is full of angst and longing. I could feel the emotions that raged between the two main characters. So many conflicts and misunderstanding arise in this book but it makes for a compelling and entertaining story. I liked this book and I enjoyed reading it.

Rushed

This book took me less than a couple of hours to finish. The premise of the story was interesting, the plot had potential. I just felt it was too rushed and too abbreviated. Would have loved to read how Andrew and Janet rekindled their romance after ten years apart, instead I found whole chunks of emotions missing and two very forgivable souls (hoorah for humankind but....really??) who were eager to get back together. When the breakup was bad, the lack of angst/ill-feelings/remorse/regret was too convenient and screams lackadaisicalness.

The background on the humanitarian efforts and protecting the rights of the locals in the country were worth mentioning and very laudable though.
