Love, love, love romance, the paranormal, hunky Highlanders with their delicious brogue and hot kilts, so Terry Spear writes about those hunky Highlanders both in medieval times and as wolves in contemporary times. Jaguar shifters too! And young adult urban fantasy. And romantic suspense.

She grew up reading mystery, adventure, mythologies from around the world, ghost stories, the paranormal, fell in love with Dracula and Wolfman, and felt they needed loving too. Everyone should have someone to love. Which means her stories always have a HEA.

I enjoyed the storyline in this SEAL Wolf installment and the garden store aspect added a nice touch to the story. The action rarely let up and helped to show the camaraderie of the pack while dealing with the antagonists. I liked Natalie and Brock as a couple, but wished there was more emotion in their romance, something to make me feel their attraction and blooming love instead of just being expected. It felt flat for me…which is a shame since I enjoy her books. That being said, I couldn’t put the book down until I saw how everything fell into place.

This one was a little cheesy at times due to all the perfect set-ups. But with that being said it was nice that there was no relationship drama, just the drama that Natalie stumbled upon and that the wolves couldn't let go.

Wolf shifter and former SEAL, Brock Greystone isn't interested in meeting a female wolf or in mating after discovering a previous girlfriend had been using him. But he's asked to help his cousin's friend make it to restaurant where there's a pre-wedding dinner by giving her directions over the phone. She-wolf, Natalie Silverton, has sworn off men in general and male wolves in particular after being used by a former boyfriend but finds Brock's voice really sexy. Still, they both swear they're not going to get involved.

When Natalie goes to open her suitcase to get her friend's wedding gift, she discovers she had grabbed the wrong one. This one is full of rolls of wrapping paper which turn out to be hiding thousands of dollars worth of counterfeit money. Natalie remembers the owner of the suitcase, a male wolf who had been thrown off the plane because he was drunk and causing a scene. When she returns to the airport for her suitcase they find the owner of the wrong suitcase, Marek, who then accuses Natalie of having his. Since the Greystone pack had had a bonfire with the illegal money, Brock becomes Natalie's bodyguard as they work together to bring down the wolf crime ring.

This was a fantastic read and I really look forward to Terry Spear's next book. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book and I highly recommend this one not only to fans of Terry's SEAL wolves but of all her books.

While attending her best friend’s wedding, Natalie mistakenly picks up the wrong luggage at the airport. And a mystery counterfeiting wolf shifters who threaten Natalie and her family begins. Fortunately for Natalie, Brock is a former Navy Seal turned PI, who is intent to protect her. Brock was hurt by a she wolf who lied to him and denies any current interest in mating. But, Natalie is independent, intelligent and caring. Her friend may have chosen the right wolf to help her from the airport! It is a fun and fast moving book that kept my interest the entire time.

Brock has no intention of dating, never mind mating, anyone. So he is happy to volunteer to shepherd the bride's lost friend to the packlands. Natalie too has sword off men. Her track record is just about as abysmal as Brock's. Her parents are packless, their little family pack is happy that way after disasters with packs in the past. Their gardening business is flourishing but Natalie does miss her friend.

But after a snafu at the airport Natalie realises that she and the obnoxious wolf have managed to swap cases. He has her wedding gift! And now she has wads and wads of counterfeit money. Brock and the Greystone pack are ow surrounding Natalie, attempting to crack the counterfeit ring and keep Natalie safe.

Great read and a well thought out storyline. Really well researched and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

•••••••••

REVIEW: 3.5 stars--SEAL Wolf Surrender is the sixth instalment in Terry Spear’s contemporary, adult SEAL Wolf paranormal, romance series. This is former Navy SEAL, PI and wolf shifter Brock Greystoke, and master gardener/ wolf shifter Natalie Silverton’s story line. SEAL Wolf Surrender can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from several third person perspectives including Natalie and Brock SEAL Wolf Surrender follows wolf shifter Natalie Silverton as she ventures to her best friend’s wedding only to discover when she opens her luggage she has accidentally stumbled upon three million dollars in counterfeit money, someone else’s counterfeit money and definitely not her luggage. Meeting former Navy SEAL Brock Greystoke finds our heroine on a cross-country journey to ferret out the people involved in the illegal scam, a scam that will bring Brock and Natalie closer together. What ensues is the quick building relationship between two reluctant wolves, and the potential fall-out as our couple are targeted for attempting to take down the people in charge.

Natalie and her parents live in Texas but her trip to Colorado comes with a surprise. Not only will she take on an investigative role with Brock Greystoke as they uncover the who, how and why of the counterfeit money, but she will also find herself, and her family slowly giving into the possibility of joining the wolves of the Greystoke Pack. Brock Greystoke has been burned in the past, and was never intending to find a mate but meeting Natalie Silverton meant the possibility of his own happily ever after, a happily ever after Brock intends to pursue and claim. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

SEAL Wolf Surrender is a story of family, friendship, betrayal and vengeance; a story of illegal activities that threaten the territory and wolves of the Greystoke Pack. The premise is engaging and entertaining but there is a little too much telling and not enough showing; the quick building romance is sexy and fun; the characters are lively and energetic. SEAL Wolf Surrender is a welcome addition to Terry Spear’s SEAL Wolf series of paranormal romances.

SEAL Wolf Surrender is the 6th book in Terry Spears SEAL Wolf series. Haven't read the others yet? Jump right in and you'll be fine. (I always put this information first in my reviews. It's the first thing I need to know when I read reviews; will I be lost and wasting my time?) This is one of those series you can enter at any time and still enjoy a fun story.

Natalie Silverton is a packless wolf who, with her parents, runs a successful nursery. That would be plants, not babies, by the way. Natalie's best friend is getting married, so she travels to the Greystoke pack territory in Colorado to attend. She gets lost on the way, so her friend asks hunky Brock Greystoke, a retired SEAL, to guide her the rest of the way. Brock was burned before by a woman and vows never to get involved again. That was before he meets Natalie, who calls to his wolfy soul. Natalie discovers that she picked up the wrong suitcase at the airport when she opens it and there are bunches of counterfeit bills in it. Uh-oh. No doubt the owner will come looking for it, so she needs a bodyguard. Hmmmmm...... Who could help her with that?

I really enjoy books with lots of angst and tortured heroes. However, sometimes I just want a fun story where the leads know they belong together and there's no angst between them. That's not to say there's no excitement here, because there is plenty dealing with deadly counterfeiters. Brock's sexy pack relatives come to help our leads fight the villains, and I particularly liked his cousin Shawn. It was fun watching Natalie discover that not only was she a master gardener, but she was a pretty good PI, too! Just a fun, entertaining story.

I received an ARC of this book courtesy of the publisher and NetGalley. I received no compensation for my review, and all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

ARC REVIEW
3.5

SEAL Wolf #6, The nice thing about this series and the whole Heart of the Wolf Universe that Terry Spear's writes is that each book is a stand alone. One thing I love is that the couple always makes sure they want to mate, like they can't live without each other before they have sex because sex equates a mating in the shifter world. The chemistry, the pheromones are telling them this wolf is a good match for you but in the case of Brock and Natalie the distance of where they live and the possibility that relocating isn't possible for either of them keeps them from fully committing to each other. I loved the plot of this one, it was exciting and kept you on your toes.

Natalie was excited to to to her best friend/ sister of her heart's wedding, Angie having fell in love with a pack member of the Greystoke pack meant Natalie would have to go to Colorado for the wedding and not having any extra time she had to fly. A belligerent drunk, who was also a wolf, caused the flight to be delayed. Unfortunately at baggage claim Natalie accidentally grabbed his bag by mistake. In doing so Natalie inadvertently uncovered a ring of wolf counterfeiters.

There was instant chemistry between Brock and Natalie and the threat that the counterfeiters might be after him has his protective wolf side come out. Not wanting her alone on this he volunteers his services as a PI to track down the bad guys and protect Natalie even if that means driving down to Amarillo, TX to do so. Along the way they discover how well they work together both in her family business of the garden center and his PI work. Despite both of them saying they weren't looking for a mate Natalie and Brock make a great team in more ways than one.

Overall, it was an entertaining read, I always enjoy reading Terry Spear's Heart of the Wolf series and the spin-offs series.

SEAL WOLF SURRENDER is action-packed with sizzling chemistry from the beginning. Neither Natalie nor Brock were looking for mates or the happy ever after thing but their voices touched something within from that first moment. Natalie is traveling for her best friend’s wedding and needs a bit of direction to get to her destination – enter Brock who is handed the responsibility and the phone to talk her to the pack lands. Their beginning started long before they set eyes on each other, even if neither was looking for their mate. Soon Natalie will find herself in dire trouble over a suitcase packed full of counterfeits and not her own clothing. A bag mix-up at the airport is going to send this couple on a journey to find the bad guys before they can end them.

I’m not afraid to admit that I love all of Terry Spear’s shifter stories, and SEAL WOLF SURRENDER is a perfect example of why I follow her every release. We’ll encounter a few familiar faces, put to rest some haunting moments of the past, trap the villains and watch an unexpected couple work their way to forever. This title is a great addition to the SEAL Wolf series, and the entire overall world Ms. Spear has created. If you love a good Shifter Romance, then have I got the book for you.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

This is book 6 in the SEAL Wolf series and I would read the other books in the series before reading this one, otherwise some things may be confusing. This one is about Brock Greystoke and Natalie Silverton. Brock has sworn off relationships after his last one ended badly. Concentrating on work and helping his friends is how he fills his time now, with no intentions of changing that. Natalie has sworn off men and in specific male wolves after being used. But when Natalie gets the wrong luggage at the airport and Brock has to protect her and figure out exactly what is going on, it not only throws them together, but it makes them realize how wrong they are to close themselves off.

I really enjoyed this story. Natalie and Brock have both been through a lot in their lives. Not only with just living in general but with the relationships that they have had. And because of this, they have closed themselves off to ever finding the one person that could complete them. This book was action packed from almost the start and definitely kept me reading and wanting more. My only drawback was that parts of the story almost felt like they were forced together. I don't know how else to put it. On a whole it was a good read but it definitely wasn't my favorite of this series. That being said, I will probably still re-read it, and I know I will be impatiently waiting for the next in this series because I do love this series!

The last she-wolf in his life and ambushed with the intent to kill, so when wolf shifter and former Navy SEAL, Brock Greystoke is tasked with helping cousin’s friend get to a wedding, he has no intention of getting involved with her. After inadvertently crossing a group of dangerous criminals, she-wolf Natalie Silverton is in dire need of a bodyguard. Good thing Brock is there to protect with her but every turn – and play - is bringing them closer together and Natalie isn’t looking to giveaway her heart.

This shifter romance is sweet and sizzling with heat but also thrillingly suspenseful and exciting. Both the hero and heroine are strong and compelling, easily drawing readers in but neither wants a relationship so this romance not only sizzles with lots of heat and sparks but has the added bonus of watching Natalie and Brock trying to deny that they want to commit to each other throughout the story which keeps the relationship quite energetic and charming.

The suspense builds throughout the story regarding the budding relationship but also due to the dangerous situation that Natalie accidentally stumble into which adds lots of danger and intrigue to the story. The plot includes some twists and turns and quite a few heart pounding, edge of seat events that has readers eagerly awaiting each and every turn of the pages of this riveting romance.

Natalie Silverton is looking forward to attending her best friend’s wedding, a short trip to Denver from Texas, and the opportunity to get away from her busy garden center for a weekend. The relaxing vacation goes array, when Natalie is delayed after an awful flight and gets lost driving from the airport, that is until Brock Greystoke’s sexy, confident voices gives her directions and turns her world upside down. Due to matching bags at the airport Natalie and Brock are suddenly encased in a money making scheme that could end their lives. As the enemies stalk nearer Natalie and Brock grow closer, will their connection develop into a mating bond or just a role in the hay? Spear’s latest paranormal romance is filled with high action, heart pounding chemistry, and a wolf-pack of characters. This steamy, plot driven romance will delight fans of Jennifer Ashley and Kresley Cole.

This book was pretty good. Natalie is happy for her friend and excited to go to her wedding. It will be a quick get away from the busy life she leads in Texas. The flight to Colorado changed her life completely though when she grabbed the wrong bag and stumbled into something she never expected.

Brock is a PI and not looking for a female to settle down with. He is content in his business because females bring nothing but trouble. I love the way he is the one Natalie's friend makes sure takes care of her from the start. Their meeting was intriguing. The whole plot flowed and I enjoyed it for the most part.

It was a 3/5 for me.

Action and shifter romance!

Brock is wary with she-wolves after getting burned in the past. Natalie isn't looking for anyone either. So why are they spending so much time together?! Well, accidentally finding a case of fake.Moby will do that!

These 2 are great for each other. Natalie is a master gardener who is interested in helping to solve this case! Brock is an ex SEAL OK who doesn't mind helping out in a garden center! The character and action oriented storyline moves along at a fast pace with a hopeful tone, some steamy scenes and vivid characters. I would read at least the SEAL Wolf series in order, but you don't have to. My first Terry Spear book ever was SEAL Wolf In Too Deep. However, after that I had to read all the rest of them, and then wait for the new ones to come out! So don't be surprised if that happens to you! Enjoy!

Unfortunately, this may not have been my favorite book in the series, but it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend it to other readers, especially if you enjoy PNR and wolf shifters. I always recommend Terry Spear’s books.

Don’t get nervous about how many books are in the Heart of the Wolf series and SEAL Wolf series because each book can be read as a standalone due to them following a new couple. Although you may end up missing out on some previous couples stories together, you can always go back and read them and not get confused.

Story Rating: 3 stars
Steaminess Rating: 3 stars
Standalone or part of series: Part of series, but each follows a new couple. Previous couples in the series will appear in the books. Each book can be read as a standalone with no issues.
Do I recommend this book? Fans of PNR and wolf shifters I would recommend this book/series.
Will I read other books from the author? Yes. She’s one of my auto-buy authors.

I love books of this genre and this one meets the brief - but I must admit it was hard to get into at times .

Wolf shifter Natalie Silverton is in need of protection - she has crossed paths with a
group of dangerous criminals . She certainly needs help after picking up the wrong luggage and spending
counterfeit money - to getting lost , even with GPS available .
Former Navy Seal and wolf shifter , now P.I. , Brock Greystoke , is tasked by his cousin ,with making
sure her friend Natalie gets to the wedding - its the last thing he needs - the last she wolf he was
involved with tried to kill him !
Can he keep her safe from the criminals , can he get her to the wedding safely ?
Neither were looking for a mate but their adventures along the way provides for a entertaining read .

I was given an arc of this book by NetGalley and the Publisher in exchange for an honest review

I tried really hard to like this book. But ... I just couldn't. I didn't even finish it, though I got to about halfway through. Everything felt ... off. There wasn't any real chemistry. What's the word I'm looking for? Forced, maybe? I don't know what it was, but things just didn't work for me. Maybe the author had to rush the story to meet the deadline? Who knows? I'm giving it a two star rating because it's not the worse thing I've ever read.

Would I recommend this book? Nope.
Will I read anything else by this author? Probably not.

I enjoy reading Terry Spear, some more than others, but I particular love them when we see old friends here and there. This one had that. The mention of the Jaguar, the Greystone pack again, loved it. I thought the relationship between Natalie and Brock was an even one, I like the fact that Natalie takes things into her own hands at times and connects the dots well enough for even Brock to second think. Of course Brock is our hunky shifter seal and there is some steamy loving going on. There is action, and a few twists along the way to liven it up. Thank you Net Galley , Sourcebook Casablanca and Terry Spear for this arc. All thoughts and opinions are my own and were unsolicited.

SEAL Wolf Surrender by Terry Spear, book 6 of SEAL Wolf series

Wolf shifter and former Navy SEAL Brock Greystoke isn't interested in she-wolves. The last one in his life ambushed him with the intent to kill. She-wolf Natalie Silverton has inadvertently crossed a group of dangerous criminals, and she's in dire need of a bodyguard.

SEAL Wolf Surrender is full of action-packed adventure about rogue wolves, counterfeiters, gunfights, not to mention steamy attraction between a SEAL alpha and a sexy she-wolf. Terry Spear excels in writing great paranormal romance with depth and dimension of wolf shifters.

An on-the-edge of your seat paranormal shifter book with money laundering, landscape garden center, and a luggage mix-up that leads to a investigation that involves wallpaper and a sexy PI.

Will Natalie find her mate and a new pack in the middle of a luggage mix-up? If Brock Greystoke can keep her safe long enough to uncover who is behind the deception he might discover that Natalie will change his mind about his future.

A spicy shifter romance that is sure to satisfy that book escape. If I were to judge a book by its cover - this is a must read!

I usually love a good Navy Seal romance especially with shifters but this one didn't do it for me. The conversation and all around writing of this novel felt forced and unnatural. He kept calling her a she wolf and the connection between Natalie and Brock felt forced.

Pretty good! I've read the whole series so far. Went out of my typical "comfort zone" on these-I would have never read "paranormal-type" book if I hadn't got hooked on Carrie Ann Ryan's Branded Pack (with Alexandra Ivy) & Talon Pack series. This is a good series if you like Wolf Packs & military :)
