Walker, Kai, Remi and Levi are finally reunited, and now that Mori can properly explore her boundaries with her lovers, everything should be perfect. Except Black Cat Security, magekynd’s protection, has fallen and they are desperate for help to turn the tides. With their help, they will put an end to the dark threat plaguing the innocent mages of their community, but is Mori willing to make the necessary sacrifices? As the looming darkness threatens to break their growing bond, Mori has no choice but to fight for what she loves.
With a southern twang that's all charm, Lana hails from Tennessee with her four feline roommates. If one of them isn't demanding her attention, she's most likely writing. Her stories bring life to characters who don't fit the mold, romance as sweet as it is sexy, and worlds better than this one. Author of paranormal, sweet omegaverse, monster romance, and queer love stories with a happily ever after.
Ugh. I don't know what I feel about this book. I really enjoyed the book, I don't know if I loved it but I will continue the series and read the final book because I am curious to see how this story ends.
It was something off about this book and sadly I can't put my head on what was wrong with it. It had all the elements that I enjoy in an RH book. I will say it had one of the hottest group sex scenes that I have read in an RH in a long time.
I think it was the villain, it is hard for me to sympathize with a villain and this villain did all that he did out of grief and not rage.
This book was solid and well formed, though it didn’t quite blow me away like book 1 did. Ending on yet another cliffhanger, I’m beyond glad that book 3 is out though!
Book 2 and Mori is still working out her powers. Back with her guys - Walker, Kai, Remi and Levi. Making up for lost time and starting to work for Black Cat Security. You would think things would quiet down? No chance! Dark enemies are still trying to break them up. I loved book 2 just as much as book 1. The parts when Mori is with her RH are so hot!. Just read it and find out. Great series of books
But first thought of the book. WHY THE HELL ARE THE GUYS SEARCHING FOR MORI AND SELENA WHITH A COMPUTER OR TRYING TO LOCATE THROUGH EMOTIONS OR WHATEVER?? I mean they jumped in a cliff, it’s not like they could come out of it in the time it took for the guys to get to the cabin and go dancing in a club. They are obviously at the bottom of the damn cliff, no need to think too hard. What’s with all the giggling and her acting 14 years old instead of 25?? In the field, why the fuck can’t she use her fucking telekinesis to break the NORMAL handcuffs like she broke the ones to NEUTRALIZE MAGIC in the prior book?? Or also to get her blindfold off and the coms in her ears so she can hear? Hell even Kai could’ve done that for her. The author did a terrible job of writing this books, they have potencial but she ruined it. The FMC is kind of dumb honestly. She is extremely naive and I don’t get how, since she grew up in the foster system and after everything she’s been through. I swear to god!!! Things keep getting worse as the book goes on. I mean she got kidnapped in that bar because there was a gun pointing a her! SHE HAS BLOODY TELEKINESIS DAMN IT, she can damn well use it to make the gun go off and shoot the guy instead! Oh wait there is moreeee. After he took her she could’ve just use her powers and escape just like that but what does she do?? WHAT DOES SHE DO? NOTHING! FUCKING NOTHING. SHE STAYS STILL LIKE A GOOD GIRL WHILE HER KIDNAPPER BINDS HER POWERS. Like what??? What’s wrong with you girl??
Alright so let me say this is stay up all night eat snickers and read in one sitting kind of book it was incredible !!! I’ll keep spoilers at a minimum but I can’t not give a few details !!! So this is book 2 of the series and after a tough cliff hanger of jumping off cliffs to die a horrible death it starts off luckily not dead mori is the shit !!! I love her as the main character she is funny but not stupid she knows when to sit back and knows when to tell someone off ... which is important in a main character !! Well this book has some heart wrenching parts like when she sees walker for the first time oh my sweet Jesus it was a moment that has been anticipated since book 1 and finalllyyyyy!!! YESSSSS he has his angel and shower!! Won’t say any more !!! Ughhh love it !! And of course remi and Levi are still the same remi is lighthearted but still serious of course and Levi the sexy nerd ... totally brings out his kinky side ... sneaky kinky nerd... 🥰🥰can’t handle it !!! And finally kai comes around and he is dominating and commanding and well just sex on a stick !!! Sooo you get to knows these guys and get to knows her more together and see and feel the love they have for each other Lana kole really knows how to make you feel the emotions they have .... but I kind of hate her due to another cliff hanger which I will not reveal but damn I am angry and dying to read the next one !!!!!Ughh but these bad guys in this one are no joke I wasn’t expecting It and I really don’t know what will happen next **bites nails anxiously** ... sooo I won’t forgive her during this time of unknown for me !! But I know it will be worth it!! This story did not disappoint it was filled with love adventure mystery and a lot of good sexy sex !!! Which is why we read these right ....? So 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️and read it !!! NOW!!!

In book 1, the guys were able to drive away from Mori to save Walker with no issue. No pain from 'balance' issues. But, Moira up down a river a few hours walk and the guys are rolling around in pain due to the distance causing 'balance' issues.
Moira was sexually assaulted by being pulled into an alley by dicksneeze in book 1. Here, she was so upset by it that she was shocked to even be eating in the same restaurant she ate with dicksneeze in. But she has no hesitation being dragged into another alley and groped by Kai.
Which leads to what a douchebag Kai is. He KNOWS that she was sexually assaulted in an alley by being pulled into one and groped, yet he does the exact same thing for his first sexual encounter with Mori?
The guys are supposed to be security experts, but they're too stupid/careless to even cover up the cameras? Levi is supposed to be brilliant, but when he gets a notification that the camera system was turned on, he doesn't try to corrupt the data/video it anything? He just lets the bad guy watch his gf have sex.
When Mori was missing, Walker and Kai wanted to go look for her on the ground, while the other guys wanted to use their powers. Why didn't they just go look, instead of sitting around for hours just waiting. Did they not have cellphones to contact each other? Plus, the distance causes then pain, but lessens when they get closer to each other. They've lived with this for years and they never thought to use it to try and locate Mori? Like, oh, this way hurts more. This way hurts less. She must be this way that hurts less. The guys seem pretty incompetent for power wielding security specialists.
Relationship building felt shallow. Most of the relationship building was just more sex .

This is my review for the first and second book. I am currently reading the third. In regards to book 1, it was a good opening and introduction to the characters. Mori, the female lead, doesn't take life seriously, and I enjoy her sarcastic comments. She's the amusing side of bitchy. Individually I liked all the characters, particularly Levi and kai. Levi is the sexy nerd whereas Kai is the aloof bad boy. Generally I enjoyed the story, so could overlook some holes. There didn't seem to be a clear distinction between powers, one of Mori's powers was very similar to Remi's, so it became confusing about what the abilities actually were. And Mori could so things that if I read correctly, were not in her magical capabilities. Also, its mentioned that the source of the powers come from the soul, so if you deplete your sources, shouldn't that effect your life? Instead, Mori feel drunk.
I did originally find this in the list with the RHR M/M lists, but in the first book this includes a peck. In the second it does get 20% more elaborate.
My reason for giving the second book a higher rating, was mainly due to the dom/sub heated scenes between Mori and Kai (exceptionally steamy). Also, I very much appreciated the many mandame scenes. Mori and her guys just hanging out together and enjoying each others company. So many stories jumping from one drama to the next, and I think of how characters would interact if the fate of the world/lives weren't at risk. There were still a few plot holes, but I gradually over looked these for all the above.
(Read through Kindle Unlimited) Book 2 is as brilliant as book 1 is. For a baby author with a debut series, this author should be immensely proud. This author writes like a seasoned pro with how she is able to sweep you into the novel. You forget that you’re reading, which is the best kind of writing, if you ask me.
The action in this book literally picks up where book 1 leaves off. If you haven’t read book 1 in a while, it’s worth re-reading it (not to mention it’s fantastic anyway and worth the reread). In this book, Mori finally gets to meet the mysterious Walker. I would say this book is mainly about two things - Mori figuring out what she’s capable of and exploring her relationships with the guys. I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily as fast pace as the first book, but there are a lot more sexy times. Again, nothing is forced, and everything feels right with the character and relationship development.
Again, there’s a cliffhanger in this book. Also hangover inducing. Also no reason not to read this. It’s so worth it. The author apologises for the cliffhanger in the author’s comments at the back (in both books, actually) if that helps, but it does mean that I am dying for book 3. I’m so excited to see what the author does with both book 3 and the series, and I’m incredibly impressed with the series thus far, especially for a debut author. I’ve got my theories about what will happen, and I can’t wait to see if I’m right.
This story. These characters. The steam. These feeeeeels. This author has done it again with her sophomore release and the second book in her Crystal Clear series. I’m not even sure how to put into words. This story picks up essentially right after the first ends, drawing the reader in immediately and refusing to let go. I adore each of the main characters, and Walker will forever be my favorite, but I enjoyed the deeper insight we got into Kai this book, and he definitely climbed higher up my list of favorites. The story is amazing, the burn level scorching (so much steam, y’all, it’s seriously hot), and the cliffhanger ending epic. Luckily the author didn’t make the readers wait too long between releases, and I hope n pray the same holds true with the next book. I highly, highly recommend this series, it’s quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Keep in mind this is a Reverse Harem romance and there is one heck of a cliffhanger, so if those aren’t your thing, keep that in mind.
I’m loving this series the first book ended in a cliffhanger so this book picks up with our female protagonist waking up right after having jumped in the last book, then she has to make her way back to her guys & theirs a beautiful reunion as it’s the first time she actually gets to see her fourth in real life not just in her dreams.
Unfortunately the cabin in the woods in which they have their reunion has cameras and someone was watching. He’s an even more grief stricken individual than the guy in the first book that they just took down. This guy was a scientist that had things in common with the other guy but he’s not human he has powers that we haven’t seen yet.
Her relationship with her four men is so perfect they are seamlessly connected just a wonderful harmonist reverse harem, honestly I’ve read lots of RH books but this one might be my favourite! There’s no jealousy or favouritism they are just a sweet family. Oh and the spice is top notch 👌
No really Lana Kole I hate you!! I want book 3 now!! Don’t you know it’s not nice to be so freaking mean to your readers? Yea, yea I know you get such a kick out of it though. Your just like all those other “Authors” out there, you write these amazingly good books, get us poor readers hooked, then bam it all ends in a freaking CLIFFHANGER!! But man oh man was this book even better then the last!! I can’t wait to see what happens to Mori and her guys next. Lana Kole you should be very very proud, you had hooked since the first word in book 1 to the last now in book 2, and I’m have no doubt that book 3 will be even freaking more amazing then this one was..... If your like me and enjoy torturing yourself by reading these awesome RH Series, that unfortunately end in cliffhangers then this series is a definite MUST READ!!
Lana Kole is quickly earning the title of Queen of the Cliff-Hangers and Walker is quickly earning the title of My Favorite! 😉 I love Lana’s ability to end a story with a feeling of both conclusion and anticipation. And I am certainly anxious to find out what is in store for these Mages after an ending like that. But, no spoilers for you!
The beginning hooks you right in and Mori and her guys keep you glued to the pages. We get some seriously great character development and world-building in this second installment but, only enough to make us want more. And best of all, it was action packed and plenty steamy! Pretty fast paced and consistently intriguing. I will be looking forward to the third in the series even more after a sequel like that!
Unlike the first book, I didn't struggle to put this one down. The plot change seemed to come out of nowhere and for such a short book it took a while to see where the book was going. Certain aspects of the plot were again convenient - like that they happened to stumble upon this 'cabin'. I felt as though Viggo's character and his introduction to the reader was not natural at all, in fact I had to re-read his first POV to understand what was going on, it just felt a bit forced at times. Also i'm all for a good sex scene but sometimes I was like okay great they're boning again but can you tell me where this book is going....! Similar to the first book it all seemed to happen so quickly at the end of the book and then another damn cliffhanger.
Oooohhhh this book was so good!!! So much action (in the sheets and out of the sheets 😉), suspense, and lets not forget that cliffhanger. I absolutely loved this book. The characters are all still well defined and descriptive so there isn’t any confusion on who is saying what. Mori is such a fun character. She’s snarky, witty, and sarcastic which is funny to read. Especially when compared to Kai and his dark and brooding demeanor. The ending was one heck of a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see how Mori and her men will bring about resolution to their current dilemma! Fantastic book and an amazing series!!!!
-Multiple POV -Female MC is strong, but let’s herself be vulnerable when appropriate. -4 men are swoon worthy, the love story is natural and doesn’t feel rushed -Action, magic, steam!, well written -There are mentions of dark instances, but I wouldn’t classify this book as dark. *spoiler* The m/m is not too much a part of the steam and they don’t go all the way, if that’s not really your thing. It is a natural progression and I personally thought I was heartwarming to watch their storyline progress too. Female MC is always the main focus of love.
I read the first one and instantly loved this style of writing. The humour was witty and I loved the character build up. So when this book came out I couldn't wait. I read it in one sitting. Its slower paced ,via storyline wise, but totally necessary for them ending. Talk about a cliff hanger!! I can not wait till the next book is ready. This has the potential to keep going another few books so I can't wait to find out what happens! Also this book is hot!!!!!
Here we are with mori and the guys again! I am so in love with these guys (Levi and Remi are mine). I'm so happy Kai finally opened up mori it was epic! I loved watching mori's bond grow with everyone. The ending crushed my heart though I may not live to see the next book so if I don't make it to the next book my tombstone should read here lies Heather Lana broke her heart lol seriously though read this book it's epic
Lana Kole is turning out to be a fantastic new writer. I love Mori. She's tough but also has a much softer side. The guys are yummy and I'm so glad Kai finally got his head out of his rear end. The book definitely has that new writer feel but I've seen a huge improvement just from book one to this one. I really think that this author will be topping the charts as she continues to develop her craft.
I stopped after 32% because I felt like the villains were going into comical muahaha territory and that that the plot would involve Mori becoming a victim as the bad guys were building up to be super creepily focused on her. I also didn't feel like there was any legitimate bond between her and Kai in the last book, so it puzzled me that she decided she loved him in this book?
I'll probably try to pick up the series again at a later date to see if I still feel the same.

I like the series, but I'm not a big fan of too many plot twists to keep the story going. This series so far relies heavily on the action and I'm more into making deeper connections with the characters, so the multiple abductions really felt like overkill and I'm not sure if I want to continue reading at this point. But for those who love books packed with drama, action and suspense, definitely give it a go.
After the cliffhanger of Illusion of Escape, this book starts out action packed. And the adventure never stops. Trash is back! As are Mori and her guys. So steamy. I am so engrossed in their stories. The arc of this story is captivating and I loved every minute of it. I need more!
I loved Illusion of Death!! Lana Kole has a great sense of humor that shines through in her writing. This book was very well written with a great story line and awesome characters. The sexy time scenes were hot, very very hot!! I loved reading about Mori and her sexy men and am really looking forward to the conclusion of the series.
Ok, so book two was just as good, if not better than book one! But let me warn you now, there's a cliffhanger.... and boy is it a good one. Lady, you better get that third one done asap because I need to know what happens. I freaking love Mori, and there's plenty of naughty in this book that made it so delicious. This series seriously has me hooked.
I thought book 1 was great. It has nothing on book 2! This book was so very hot, so very sweet and so very Mori. She strengthens the bonds of her relationships with her men while practicing her magic and dodging crazy crystal wielding Russians. And what a cliffhanger! Not sure how she’s find her way out of this one. Can’t wait for book 3!!!
I mean wow them cliffhangers tho ! I’m so happy I’m reading the series while all the books are out or i woulda been real upset ! Lol anyways Mori and her guys just wow 🤤 so hot but also the storyline is great too ! I’m excited to find out what happens in this next book but I’m also sad it’s the last ! Definitely worth the read !
Just when things settle down and some crazy fun monkey times happen behind closed doors (hey don't blame me, I keep getting Amazon filtered), bad-crazy dudes come from all sides. With a cliffhanger like this one, the next book better have plenty of make-up steamy scenes cause this girl is in shock for those poor boys.
After the cliffhanger of Illusion of Escape, this book starts out action packed. And the adventure never stops. Trash is back! As are Mori and her guys. I am so engrossed in their stories. The arc of this story is captivating and I loved every minute of it. I need more!
What a book!!! Full of steamy, naughty scenes, 4 hot guys and 1 badass female main character! With this book you will also get some action scenes. This book is apart of a series with another to come. This book was amazing!! I cannot wait to read the next one. Lana Kole is an awesome author.
