Great little reference book for beginners like me. Best in combination with internet and/or other books for further research. I just bought my house and need to landscape. Reading this book helps me feel more up to the task and hopeful that I won't kill myself or what I plant in the adventure of creating my own paradise.

I checked this book out at the library and love it. It has a lot of information about gardening in the desert. I am a recent transplant from Pacific Northwest and Northern California so this book is going to help me a lot. I am going to buy a copy for myself.
