I received a free copy of this book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This is the third book in The Time Warrior Series. It is also the first book in the series that I have read. I have already purchased the first two because this book held my interest even though it was a bit long. It is an interesting take on how to keep people from becoming bored with life. The protagonists, Logan and Dawson were best friends and Time Warriors. They were either training for their next battle, or in battle. They travelled through time to fight in different time periods, always looking for that superior battle.

Meanwhile, their homeland was increasingly unsettled and heading toward revolution. Although asked many times to join the revolutionaries, they both refused. They did not think it would do any good, it wouldn’t solve anything at all, and they were dead set on completing their own goals. But the time came when circumstances changed, and Logan and Dawson had to make a choice.

Long’s characters are well developed full of life, believable and interesting. His worlds are descriptive and feel realistic. This book is fascinating, and a satisfying read. I will be settling down with the two previous books to round out my knowledge of their world.

Found this story boring, the characters were bland and forgettable- didn't really care what happened to them. It felt as if there was no heart to this story, its action was fine but needed more fleshing out.
