It was good seeing a woman being dominant, but then she switched! Why couldn't he be the one to switch?

Odd ending
This just ended with no true wrap up to me. It was interesting but not enough interaction with the main characters. No real background on Drake and Candace’s sister was described one way but then when she appeared she was totally different. Don’t think I am going to read any more of the series

HOLY HADES SWEET BABY JESUS WTF did I just read!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG Elizabeth and Linny have outdone themselves with this first book in their Sin City Fets series. It was so flawless that I could not tell where one writer began and the other author entered. I will say this that I WANTED MORE of this story. I was so invested in this story that I needed more of Drake and Candace. I loved how these two came together and I need more. I am such a greedy reader but I can't wait for the next book.
Candace what to say about her without ruining it for the reader well......... she is a kick arse heroine that had me laughing at some of the things she did and I loved the way she was hardcore on the outside but on the inside she was just as broken as any other girl.
Drake oh my Drake he is something special because he is the whole package and more. He knew what he wanted and went after it until he got it. Only deep down inside he is a broken man hurt real bad and hides it behind his tough exterior.
This is a must read for all those who love a good story with a splash of kink!

3.5 Stars (not a 4 star rating but had to state my opinion within review)
Like the concept, but I think the execution failed in the end. I know it’s a series and more books are coming with different characters stories however it never really finished with Drake and Candice’s journey. A decision was never 100% made and it left me hanging.
The concept/synopsis I enjoyed and the “switch” aspect I liked however I wish there was more of her actually switch back and forth between the roles. More to her character.
This book had potential but just failed in my eyes on some spots.

For the most part I enjoyed this story. Candence and Drake are decent characters. I felt like some character development was missing. You're thrown right into their story and honestly there's not much of a story arc. There's a lot of backstory but you don't actually get much story between the two main characters. For a story that is supposed to be about a Domme switching to a sub there's little sex between the main characters or scenes to build trust. The story was just lacking depth.

I love these two authors individually and they write a fantastic book together. Candace and Drake are two dominants that attracted to each other, a recipe for disaster unless one of them can switch. I loved seeing how these two could work through their issues with trusting others. The only negative that I see with this book is the ending... I know that it is a series but they move on to another couple in the next book and I don’t feel as if Candace and Drake’s story was finished. Maybe they will complete their story in book two. I can’t wait for this series to continue!

Candace and Drake are two dominants that have an attraction to each other. One would have to be a switch for any relationship to work. Candace ends up switching for Drake. A steamy read but I wish there were more of their story.

Omg, I loved this book by two author I love to read.. It very different from their MC and mafia books they write.. I always have a love BDSM book which this one has to be one of the good ones I read.. I can't wait to see what next in this series.. 5 stars

So I have to be honest, I only gave this a 4 star because it isn't one of my favorites from Elizabeth. That doesn't mean I didn't absolutely love and devour it! I give so many things 5 stars that I wanted to start re-thinking my system!
I've never read anything by Linny, but I can see some of the differences between here and Elizabeth. I really liked how they wrote together. One of the main reasons I didn't like this book as much, is that I felt that it went a little quick. Now, that very much could be because of the speed I read, not because of how it was written! That being said, my favorite parts of this book were seeing two sides to both Drake and Candace. I LOVED seeing the Dominatrix side of Candace, she was one awesome and touch bitch! But, I also loved how we got to see the softer, more vulnerable side of things. Living the life that she did, I can very much see how it could take a toll on her if the role never stopped. And then we have Drake, who is pretty much only known as the hard ass. I love how he, figuratively, fell to his knees for Candace.
These emotions that they felt, and that they made us feel, really helped with the sudden switch from Dom to Sub for Candace. Although, at the same time, we could see her unravel and something of this nature was going to be inevitable. In addition to the amazing emotions IT WAS HOT AS HELLLLLL. The first time we see a sexual side of Candace was FIRE! There was truly the perfect amount of hot scenes as there were emotional. It was such a great balance.
And of course, I love me some supporting characters. I loved the addition of Thomas and Lexington. These two really helped to stir the pot. Having the issues with Candaces dad and having Carly come in the scene really made an impact too. All of these people did so many things to help carry these two along, they were so well done. I also loved the hints that we got when it came to Chase and Miss. Sharpe. I cannot wait to see what is to come with these two!!!

Candace has to be in control, it is the only thing holding her together. It was so important to her that it became her career. Now as a professional Dominatrix, she uses that control to give her subs the comfort and safe space they need to deal with life. Too bad that her attraction to Drake, her friend and head of the kink club she works at, is warring with her need for control. Drake is a Dom too, and he desperately wants Candace. Can two people so scarred and hurt find a way to be what the other needs?
I went into Switched basically blind. I knew it involved a sex club and BDSM. But if you are looking for Fifty Shades, this isn't it and I am so glad. The care and emotion between Candace and Drake can be felt in every encounter they have. Just a warning, there is some FF action in the beginning of the story but it doesn't occur again. Candace and Drake both need their relationship and it goes far beyond the physical. I found that the need for control and the desire for submission were covered in a believable and sensitive way. I enjoyed my time with the characters and thought the ending was also handled very neatly. I would categorize the ending as content for now, with more to come in subsequent stories. I would have found it too unrealistic for the authors to finish it off all tidy with a happy ever after. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the stories in this series, I need more Candace and Drake.

Who will submit when two Dom's come together
Switched is the first book in the Sin City Fets series. As this is the first time I have read this writing duo I was not sure what to expect, as I have read a number of books by Elizabeth Knox before. When I read the book description it looked like it could be a really interesting story and hopefully series..............and I was right. This short story was completely engrossing to me and I could not put it down once I started. The story is about Candace and Drake who work together as professional Dom's and are also friends. These two are in an interesting situation as they are attracted to each other but yet both need the control that being a Dom provides. So if Candace wants to be with Drake she will have to give up that control to him, thus submitting.
While there is the physical relationship between them there is also a deep emotional relationship between them. As this is the first book in a series the story of Candace and Drake is not complete and I anticipate there will be more in other book(s).
This was a very well written story with great details in the scenes. I really like this writing duo and look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Well done Elizabeth and Linny, what a great intro into this series, Switched is a faced paced, highly charged and sensual story about what transpires between Candace and Drake who were made for each other regarding the erotic practices of roleplaying. Can Drake who is a successful club owner and respected Dom who has been hurt by his last submissive, get this passionate woman who he has always had a strong desire to be with get her to switch over? Candace a renowned Domme in Vegas is always guarding her heart against love doing what she does best, but is beginning to yearning to submit to someone. With all of the pain and hurt she is experiencing with family drama and loss will she give into Drake's offer as he is the one man she has always fantasized about? Is she finally able to submit to someone? Will these two begin this journey together or will a bet get in the way of them beginning this journey? Can't wait to see what the next adventure will be in store for us in the Sin City Fets series. Ladies you have done your readers proud!!!

This is my first Domme/Switch book I've ever read it was an exciting book, but I feel it just fell short of 5 stars due to feeling like it was rushed granted it's a short read, but I've read short reads before and they packed a punch, but this one was just missing something. With that being said it was a very good book to read and it definitely is worth the read.
In this story you see the struggle Candace who is the Domme trying to hold it together as her family issues become overwhelming and all she wants is for someone to make it better and take control she's always had a thing for Drake who is a Dom, but can he get her to switch.
Drake has always had strong feelings for Candace and he would love for her to be his submissive, but she's to much a dominant to give in to him or is she?
I need more of these 2 they aren't finished yet.
Oh and there are supporting characters introduced into this story that you'll want to read more about as these 2 Arthur's write about Vegas and sin that is available 24/7 in this new series.
This is my unbiased opinion and my review

Switched from a set of new to me authors. Elizabeth Knox and Linny Lawless, a unique story about what I think would be growth and and dealing with your past.
There are many reasons people step into the BDSM lifestyle, a big one it gives them a sense of belonging, to be grounded. The story was well written, it just left me a bit out of sorts. It seemed like maybe Candace was in control for the wrong reasons, keeping it close to her heart. The lifestyle is about communication.
Drake yeah all kinda Dom, I didn't care for his first motivation in seeking Candace out, boys will be boys, right? As you keep reading you will see what Candace tries to hold a secret, what Drake can't seem to let go. All come to the light.
As I said decent well put together story, characters also. I really liked it I just put me into it too much. Hot couple, loved the cover. I think if with Drake's little hiccup I'd love to call him my newest book boyfriend, *swoons* because he's had the Dom personality on point. caring and considerate. just makes me all aflutter. *smiles enjoy*

Candace is a Dominatrix with client list who she sees however often the Submissive's need to see her. She also does scenes and demonstrations at Club Crimson where Drake sees her whenever she is there...he is a Dominant himself, but he sees something in Candace that says she may someday want something else...and he intends to provide that. As a conversation with friends, since he was insuring they wouldn't try something with her themselves, he makes a bet with Thomas and Jackson that he could make her switch from Dominant to Submissive...of course there are things going on in Candace's life which is emotionally trying, like her con-man father in prison, her sister who is into whatever she can find and an attorney trying to get her dad out of jail that is costing her mega-bucks...but you will need to read the story to see what happens. Drake is the dom that everyone wants, but because he was hurt in the past, he does not do relationships anymore. Candace is a domme and is good at her job. Both has feelings for each other but because Candace is a domme and has never been a submissive to anyone else, she does not think that she has a shot with Drake. Drake bet a wager with his friends that he would be able to switch Candace from a domme to a submissive but after the bet and getting to know Candace better, he knew he was in trouble if Candace finds out about the bet. I also went into Switched blind. I hadn’t read the previous books and I’m not a huge fan of BDSM but I read the description and wanted to give it a try. There is some F/F action at the beginning but just that one time. I felt the story was filled with emotion. The characters, Candace and Drake were well developed and I felt an instant connection to them and wanted them to have their HEA. Both characters are deeply emotional and I really felt the author discussed the control and submission aspect of BDSM in an intelligent way that helped me understand. I look forward to reading more about them in subsequent books. They didn’t get their HEA completely and that bothered me some but I understood it was necessary for the story. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the stories in this series.

I love stories about Dominants and Dommes, and this book didn’t disappoint. The story of Candace, a Domme and Drake, a Dominant who wants Candace to become his Submissive. But how do you get a strong willed woman like Candace to change will be a challenge like no other for Drake. These two characters have chart topping chemistry and I truly enjoyed their story. They both have trust issues and I wasn’t sure how they could overcome them. But do they? Can they have a true relationship? You will need to read this book to find out. And I’m looking forward to the next book in this enjoyable series!

This was a first for me Dom and Submissive but the way this book plays out is so far in left field. To switch is such a hard concept in the realm of Dom and Sup and to relinquish all control of being the Dom to being a Sub is not to take lightly. The troubles that surround these two from family betrayal and the ones closest to you. How to cope when everything you have strived for is not only taken away but may be lost forever. How to overcome that betrayal and relinquish what you hold deep in your soul. Well grab this book to find out if the SWITCH was a complete fail or topped from the bottom. This is a quick read where we meet Candace and Drake, both are doms but While dealing with family issues Candace decides she is fooling herself and actually wants to be more than just a dom. I like how there has always been respect and attraction between them as well as the fact you know it may not work out with them due to who they are. As it is a short book things aren't gone into in as much detail as I would like, however I expect we get to know more about everyone as with each book. I can't wait to read the next book and learn more about all these great characters including Chase and Sam!
