An excellent introduction to the basics of discipleship. Clear, comprehensive and well written. Nothing new, but the fact that it covers so much, so clearly, will make it my go to book for those who want to learn more about how to follow Jesus.
(I should note that I've known Andrew for years and am probably a bit biased. But it is a good book.)

Easiest one of the best Christian books that I have read.
Andrew Randall writes clearly, succinctly and biblically. He writes on what it means to be a follower of Jesus, in terms of evangelism, stewardship, etc. he employs language that my 11 year old daughter would be comfortable with. The appendix on marriage and suffering is very good.
Definitely a book to read and reread from time to time. Also, a book to be given to new christians or any growing disciples.

This is the first book I would recommend to a new believer. It takes 15 important aspects of the Christian life (faith, the Bible, the church, prayer, the Holy Spirit, holiness, growth in grace, guidance, loving others, parenting children, evangelism, work, stewardship, suffering, and perseverance) and explains them simply with plenty of scripture to back up his points. Great book

Utterly exceptional book on what it looks like to follow Jesus. Each chapter looks at another facet of discipleship with 2 appendices on Marriage and suffering.

Good book on the fundamentals. Read as part of a book group, and perhaps was a little basic for us, but we were probably not the target audience!
