Another beautiful Christmas story. The ornaments appear when they are needed most. Candy Walters and Joseph Cane have lost the only two people in the world they can call Family. They are both shocked with the will that was left. Surprises abound when they meet and continue to arrive frequently the first two weeks as they try to discover how they will manage to complete the sequence set out in their loved ones will. While the story begins tragically, it does provide some very beautiful and mysterious happenings! To discover the happiness within, you need to read this book. The entire series is fun, whimsical and gives you a beautiful sense of what Christmas is all about! I received an ARC of this book. I am choosing to leave an honest review.
The tragedy of losing her sister and brothef-in-law in a carriage accident was overwhelming to Candy. Then the news came that the Cane ranch had been willed to her and her sister's husband's brother with the proviso that they both live on the ranch for a year before selling it off. What Candy soon learned was that the tiny ranch she had visited years earlier had been grown into one of the largest, most productive ones in Montana by her sister and brother-in-law. Now it seemed that she would be sharing the running of it with Joseph Cane. Her sister made provision for a couple to take care of the house and grounds for the year Candy would live there, as well. After a week or so, some of the mail brought even more news. Her sister had agreed to adopt a couple of children from New England. What else could disrupt her life?
This was a great story! I loved getting to know Candy and Joseph. Their personalities sparkled throughout this sweet story. Ms Raye has given us a very goodread!
Candy Walters plans to sell her portion of a willed Montana ranch and go back to Chicago. A stipulation came with her inheritance. The will stipulates he lives there for one year ... with Candy and two orphaned children and ranch help that looks like Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.
Interesting plot that intrigued me. Almost like magic. Perfect for the Christmas season. Mystery and suspense. Even though I know the ending. I don't know the "how" and the journey. That's the fun of the story. Love is found when the heart is complete. -love it.
'She needs to experience the magic of Hope Mountain'
Well Eva was right, Candy does need to experience the magic of Hope Mountain, but so does Joseph! And with Mrs Clause's gift and Mr & Mrs Closs's magic 'sparkle' they stand no chance of resisting each other! Why didn't they listen to their siblings and move there years earlier? Candy and Joseph are shown that not everything is as it seems and sometimes the strangest requests have the best results....
Cyndi Rate is a new author to this avid reader. The Ornamental Match Maker series is a fun holiday read. Short paragraphs with lots of dialog moves the plot along. Enough of the back story is included. Some mystery - who leaves the ornaments, which lead to romance. Some romance and the meddling matchmaking Mr. & Mrs. Closs. While the story starts rather sad - love the twist and turn plot. A new holiday favorite.
Beautiful story of broken hearts healing and finding joy in life again. Candy and Joseph are both alone with the deaths of their siblings. One ranch, a beautiful ornament a jolly couple and an orphaned brother and sister join together to become a family for Christmas. Tissues needed
A great Christmas story full of wonderful characters. A feel good Christmas story that has quirky character names that will bring a smile to your face. A cute plot that involves a cook and caretaker as Sant and Mrs. Claus in disguise. Just a fun read with romance and a whole lot of love to lift any ones spirit! Was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
This is a delightful and sweet story about Candy and Joseph. From the first page I was hooked on Candy’s life change. Candy and Joseph had to come together on their sibling’s ranch and stay for a year and make it work. This is a captivating story. It has humor and love and magic. The reader will be transported to the Cane Ranch. Truly a must read. Truly a Christmas Miracle story.
An ideal book to give you a pick me up at Christmas, or any other time of the year. This is the story of two people who have lost their siblings and a pair of orphans looking for a new home. I also love the description of Mr and Mrs Closs, I wonder who they remind me of.......
A little bit of Christmas magic and a candy cane ornament!
I recommend this sweet story! I must say I love the housekeeper and her husband! It all began with Christmas magic and a special candy cane ornament. After losing their only family Candy and Joseph are thrown together.
This 10th book was a delight. It started out so sad but quickly pulled you into a wonderful story of love , faith, and salvation. Wonderful characters and very enjoyable.
Joseph- his brother passed away and he was to get half the property. Candy- her sister passed away and she was to get half the property. I enjoyed reading this intriguing story that is well written with charismatic characters and sub characters. Their story has a sweet HEA.
Another great book in a great series. I'm really enjoying this series and all the characters. I loved Candy and Joseph's story and especially the children. I look forward to more books in the series.
A very cute story about two people who are willed a ranch by their deceased siblings. Neither of them have visited the sibling in years and has no idea what to expect when they arrive for the funeral and will reading. I enjoyed this story about Candy, Joseph, two orphans and Mr. & Mrs. Closs.
I have loved every ornamental matchmaker book that I’ve read. And this story was excellent. I love matchmaker, Christmas, and stories with children. And this story had it all. Easy to read story that doesn’t take long to read.
Sweet story about finding love after loss. Candy and Joseph have both lost loved ones. Needing to stay together on the ranch brings them together and helps them find joy at Christmas.
This is a great holiday read with some page turning adventures. There are also some funny twists and turns that will keep you snickering. Ms Raye has written a great story here!
What a cute story. I really enjoyed it. The children absolutely made the story more enjoyable. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a sweet love story.
Cute holiday romance. Cyndi tells a wonderful story of two people brought together after the loss of their siblings. Not only do they have to run the ranch together for a full year, but then they learn an orphan train is coming with children their siblings wanted to adopt. Add Mr and Mrs Closs for some fun and magic. Loved it!!
