The wheels of Federation justice turn slow. After the clusterfrak on Telmareen, James 'Red' Maddox has been out of the fight for thirteen months. When you're used to the adrenaline rush of fighting aliens while strapped into twenty tons of Federation steel, ship duty is worse than torture. But the team is under scrutiny. One misstep, and they'll never pilot their mechs again. All they can do is hurry up and wait. Until they're thrown a lifeline - a way to prove themselves to the brass. Someone's slinging Isckara on a neutral trading station, far outside Federation-controlled space. It's not much, but it's a clue, and it's all they've got. Volchek and the team mount up - quietly. The Federation can't afford a diplomatic incident. Unfortunately, where Red goes, chaos follows. And so does the body count... Hunter is the third instalment in the gripping, action packed Iron Legion series! Don't forget to read Recruit and Soldier first!

God just grow Up!!!

I don't often write reviews and never when I'm half way through the 2nd book but I just want to Scream at the author to Grow the F up. Do you think anyone wants to read about an immature constant screwup bumbling idiot as the main char? Does he ever mature? Does your writing?
Why are you torturing everyone with incompetence.. No longer funny.. No longer interesting.. No entertainment value... Why?
I am certainly glad I got it on unlimited because I would not pay a dime for this abuse!!

A DR. SYFY. Novel (ILB. - 2)/A New Crew Member/A Jump Through a Wormhole

Dr. has. penned the third novel in the Iron Legion series. Our Planet Rat has expanded his horizons, that is, until he lost his Mech to the Queen of the Battles. The Queen was none other than his female Hammerstein book one. She did what she did so she could join the team. During their investigation they found that the Free were not the only problems they had. The Free of someone else developed a small! Ship capable of work hole flight. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Still going strong.

Still going good, not sure how much can be left in the story. This looks like it may be reaching either an end or a turning point in the very near future. Still enjoying the growth of the main character, although he does seem a little slow to learn. Still think it is a good series, not sure what is next a pretty good read.

Very enjoyable series to read

This author really brings his characters to life in his writings. The characters continue to evolve as the situations evolve and the craziness they are going through. Fun action packed kicking buttocks enjoyment.

Draggy, convoluted, withe sub oar editingveven for ebooks. ThevPerils if Pauline ending was a tad over the tip. Especially since with Pauline it was only till next Saturday.

6 stars, this is turning into an epic!

Talk about a cliffhanger! If you’ve got this far into the series you have to be hooked. This just gets better and better. Unputdownable... not a word but it should be.

Keep it coming

I like the flow of the story. Sequels that keep history of characters in line gives your story better understanding and allows is to leave our day behind.

A Good Ending?

Another well-written and exciting book in the series but the ending didn't give us much of a clue as to what to expect if another book follows.

On boy!

This one has a really twisted and entangled plot line and ends with a total cliffhanger. You definitely gotta read it.
