“Shadow Grass” is a story of two private investigators, working as Cain and Able Investigations, who face the complicated and complex chore of finding the killer of citizens in a small crossroads town near Kansas City, Missouri.
The perpetrator does more than kill a victim, the murderer tortures the poor soul with sharp garden tools.
As in other Cain and Able Mysteries, Danny and Ruth find themselves targets of deadly attacks on their lives.

I love the Cain & Able Mystery series by Dan Lee! The 3rd in this series does not disappoint and had enough twists & turns to create a bottleneck of clues, but no answers. A whodoneit that leaves the reader in suspense.
A serial killer in 1950s KC Missouri puts a town in fear and especially the local teens as it is their friends and neighbors the killer is targeting.
If you liked the Peter Gunn TV series you will love Dan Lee's Cain & Able Private Eye Mysteries.
I heard through the grapevine he is working on book 4!
