Some call Actual Magic the “Law of Attraction on steroids” because it goes beyond positive thinking and visualization techniques to add a critical element missing from strictly “Law of Attraction” texts. Yet every one of us has the power to work Actual Magic, and in fact all of us do so just about all the time. The vast majority of us do not realize it, however, because practically everyone does so unconsciously.
It’s true. Actual Magic happens around us all the time. For example, you probably know someone who, for no apparent reason, seems to be lucky. Good fortune flows to them, effortlessly. You may also know someone who experiences misfortune after misfortune for no apparent reason. Both are working Actual Magic, but do not know it. As this book explains, we all work Actual Magic every day. The good news is that after reading this book you will no longer do so unconsciously and will have gained the knowledge to make it work for you, rather than against you.
You see, you may now be working Actual Magic to your benefit, but just as likely, you are doing so to your detriment and do not know it. Read this book and find out. The author explains how Actual Magic works, why it works, and how those who take it seriously and apply the techniques this book reveals can use it to create a life of purpose, good health, fulfillment, and plenty.
Why continue to allow your circumstances to control you when you can learn to control your circumstances? There’s no longer any need because that’s what this book is meant to teach. If you desire personal transformation, happiness, abundance, and freedom from depression, and if you feel you would benefit from reading a truly motivational text that will thrust you onto a path that leads to the life you have always hoped for, this book is what you have been searching for.
I found this book for free via Freebooksy; this is my honest review. -At first I was shocked that the author would mix magic and religion, well Christianity, because the Bible is completely against using magic for all sorts of things (like seeing the future). -We're talking about the mind and the heart. Like he says, though, watch out for what you wish for. It's like the joke where the old man who gets a wish and ask the genie for a wife that is much younger than him and the genie made HIM older, not her younger! -I really liked all the analogies as it helps to understand everything he says. The author really likes football. -The concept is not new to me; I've seen it happened and it works great. I just didn't apply it to my current situation. -He's right; I'll go back to the book once I'm ready to make lists and take a day off just for that. I pretty much already know what I want to do, especially during my retirement, which is where I'm at right now. What kept me, for one, was waiting on others to show me how to do certain things on the Internet. After reading the book I'm going to put on my list of "wants" that I want to learn those things by myself and not have to wait on others. -Visualization: He talks about a book (can't remember the title) and that book was used A LOT by Amway and one of the first step is to find and/or make a picture of your want and put it somewhere you'll see every day. That's how it starts. -I have many of his books and this is the first one I read. I'll go to The Law of Attraction next since he talks about it in this one. -When my husband and I moved province, we had to find a new doctor. My new doctor had a Masters in Engineering and a PhD in medicine. Imagine my surprise when I read: "A friend of mine, a mechanical engineer whose job was designing cars, decided he wanted to be a doctor. He realized that was his calling." My doctor was also a mechanical engineer and his job was designing automated doors (like the revolving ones in a hotel). He loves being a doctor too.
This book really wasn't what I was expecting, but I found it to be SO much better than I originally thought! There was a lot of Bible talk, and teachings on Jesus. Not the average "Christian" teachings, but more in line with Unity Church teachings, which are SO much more uplifting and empowering! The author didn't press the reader into following any particular religions or philosophies, which I appreciated. I believe he was right on point with his message, and this book caught my attention at a time when I really needed it to. To be completely honest, I don't even remember purchasing this book, but I found it in the recent purchases section of my Kindle and decided to check it out. I'm glad I did!
It’s supposed to be a book about magic and yet for roughly half of the book it talks about Jesus and quotes the Bible. There’s no place for that in a book that’s meant to teach you how to assess your magic and make it work. Most people who are interested in magic don’t believe in Christianity (at least in my own experiences with others). Also, sooo many sentences that are either missing words and/or using the wrong one. Need to better edit. There are parts I thoroughly enjoyed and even highlighted, but it can’t make up for the lack of proper editing and way too much Jesus talk
Well if the word Magic doesn't scare you this book has some very good practical advice. Positive thinking and some good habits we all need to form. If this was new to me then I may have rated this with a higher score. Also the beginning was a bit passive aggressive and put me in a negative mood which stayed with me the entire book. I would recommend reading this to my younger self. However I am reading this as my older self...
