Ryan is an on-demand car jacker. Criminals hire him to find their perfect getaway vehicles and to prep them for whatever ‘big job’ is coming up next. Ryan and his high school friend Tynie have carjacking down to a science. They do their homework, come prepared and no one ever gets hurt. Neither of them wants to do this for the rest of their lives, but once you’re in the inner circle of big crime, it’s tough to get out with a pulse.

Ryan’s latest job is to find a vehicle for a bank heist. They always come prepared with a second and third choice when the day comes to snatch the vehicle, just in case the first choice becomes too risky. On this day, the first choice didn’t pan out, so they moved onto plan B. However Ryan was so fixated on getting away and delivering the stolen car, that he didn’t realize there was a young woman sound asleep in the backseat.

Haley wakes up part way through the drive to the drop location and is terrified and angry, but Ryan tries to calm her down. He’s got a bit of a crush on her after following her and her boss around for a few days while scoping out the vehicles, and he is excited to meet her despite the insane circumstances.

Ryan makes the drop, but doesn’t tell his boss about Haley. He knows his boss would consider Haley a potential witness and a loose end to be silenced. Ryan will not let that happen and vows to protect her. Haley, Ryan and Tynie end up on the run and in way over their heads.

Ryan and Haley are very attracted to each other, but they might as well live on different planets. They both realize that a future together is extremely unlikely, but they decide to enjoy the time they have together and wow, do they make the most of it! Hot, hot, hot!

Will Ryan, Haley and Tynie be able to escape Ryan’s angry boss? Is Haley willing to wait for Ryan if something goes wrong? Can they really hope for any future together? Is it worth the risks?

Action packed, extremely well-written crime/bad boy romance novel. Fast moving, suspenseful and super sexy storyline with a surprisingly sweet and very touching HEA.

Ryan is a car thief, and when he boosts his latest car he does not notice sleeping Haley in the backseat. Now he has to keep her alive and safe from his crime boss. There is an intense and passionate attraction between these two. Their wild, crazy journey is full of danger. Loved the banter and humour between these two as well as the secondary characters!
Yet another flawless storyline from Alice; and her books never disappoint. Look forward to reading more of her work, and I recommend for all readers.

Jack is a car thief and this time he picks a car that has a passenger he didn't count on. Hailey was tired from working and just wanted to rest for a bit so she got in the backseat to crash. Just as she started to relax someone gets in the driver seat and starts driving away with her in the back. When Jack realises that he has Hailey in the4 car he knows that there's no way he can delivery the car with her in it. Sparks fly betweent them as they banter about what is to happen in the car. Will Jack be able to keep her safe from his employer? Will this turn into something more?

This is an amazing story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Bad boy Ryan was a car hacker he stole cars he was the best in the business so when he went and got this suv he thought it was vacant but the owner of the vechale is curled up in the back and she is looking at him what doe she doe but tack her too.
Lovely, curvy Haley is curled up in the back, innocent and terrified she is sleeping in the back of her car and then the big bad wolf comes a calling and he want let her go but at the end does she want to. great book awesome read great characters and could not put it down. Michelle

Perfect Burn by Alice May Ball is an exciting,fast paced,intriguing,hot and steamy filled with danger,action and twist and turns. a romantic suspense romance story of Jack and Hailey..Jack is is the bad boy,a cat thief and accidental kidnapper.Hailey is a sweet and curvy girl,a nanny and personal assistant? when Jack need to carnap a car he didnt know that someone is sleeping inside of it and not the other girl but the one he liked and fantasized but he needs to put her in a safe place before his contact finds her..a criminal fell inlove with her victim is an intersting book that you will like and enjoy,well done!

Loved this. The story flowed nicely, no typos to distract from the story. The ending was satisfactory. I would've liked more leadup to it and more explanation though. Still I would give it a 5 star read.

Struggled with this book

Could not get into this book at all, felt like it jumped from scene to scene and something was missing. The beginning was jumbled and then it seemed to meander all over the place. Didn’t find any of the characters likeable. Sorry wasn’t my cup of tea.

I'm sorry I could not even get past the beginning. I don't care how good looking a guy is, if put in a situation like that your not just gonna roll over. It was just ridiculous how easy she was being.

Thanks for Jacker how I loved Ryan & Haley's chemistry, they were definitely destined together. No matter how the met & what a meeting if there ever was one like it. He'd known as Jacker as he Jack's cars for to do bank jobs well in these car jacks were for bank jobs for Gregor which he hates and it's always the last time especially for Tynie.
And what a man to always their to protect the misfit from school through to adulthood, Tynie.
Loved the whole lot even though you could knock his head against something to bang some sense into him, especially that last meet, but then again, you never know if things would've worked out between them. I would love to see how things go between them especially where there's areas that must be quite amusing especially to begin with

Perfect Burn is the fourth book in the Perfect series and has an interesting storyline. Although it took a bit to get into the story once it got going the story picked up. The characters were likable and the story is filled with steam, drama, humor, action and a good ending. Overall a good story and I look forward to reading the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Over the top

Jack is a carjacker by trade, but his latest car victim comes with its owner Hayley. That is a big problem as he cant hand her over to thee gang who wants the car fearing what they would do with her so he decides to keep her instead, much to Hayley's protests, he says hell protect her but who does she need protecting from? is there a chance of love for these two? well written with a good story plot that is easy and fun to read.

An interesting story with some steamy scenes. When Hailey gets tired she goes into the backseat of her boss's car and falls asleep. When she wakes up, Jack has stolen her boss's car with her in it. Jack sees Hailey and his protective instincts kick in.

This is a funny, steamy enemies to lovers story. Ryan needs to steal a car and the one that he does has a sleeping Hayley in the back. Once she feels the car moving she wakes up in a daze and she reacts. This is a very entertaining story by Alice May Ball.

This was my first read from this author so I had no idea what I was getting into. I picked this one because it's labeled enemies to lovers and I love reading those types of stories. I loved the first person point of view, which is a deal breaker for me, not to mention, Jack was a very good hero.

This story had it all action, suspense, friendship, betrayal and love. This story was a little different than the stories I have read from Alice May Ball and I loved it. She did a good job of writing so you understand the characters. Ryan is a car thief that doesn't feel he deserves a normal life, but he will protect everyone that he cares about. Haley is just trying to get through school and wants a little different life. When these two meet under really weird circumstances there is a spark. Then throw Tynie in the mix and you have love, humor, steamy sex and surprise at the end. Alice May Ball did not have Haley and Ryan professing their love instantly which was good. I really enjoyed this book and in my opinion it's worth reading. This is one of my favorites. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
