This was a 6 book series about dragons having to leave their home world and find mates on earth. It is a nice box set and each one is a good story but nothing really stands out, I can't even tell you the names of most of the characters in the series. I can say if you like dragons and want a good read that will hold your attention, at least while you are reading it then this is a good choice.
I don’t normally leave reviews this long but I am reviewing six books in the series together.
The first book in the series with a little bit ridiculous. Max is a dragon shifter who sees Andrea and believes that she is his fated mate. Since Max does not know much about earth customs he asks around on a date and takes it right then and there on the date. Then he kidnaps her and takes her to his cabin. He holds her there until she almost gets taken by his enemy. I like books about dragons and shifters but this was awfully corny. The second book in the series was a little bit better than the first one. In this book Carter is kind of a dork and didn’t even realize that he found his meat. Apparently he just goes around having sex with women under bridges. When he finally figured out that she actually was his mate she almost got killed. I really hope the next one is better. This book was a little bit better. Rhett was the next dragon shifter to go on with the dating stuff. he ended up going on speed dating and found his faded mate and didn’t even know it. Some of these guys in this book even though they’re from another planet they’re awfully stupid. They’re supposed to know what these descendants they’re looking for are like but yet they don’t even see it when it’s right in front of them. at least the woman in this book had a little bit more brains than the women in the last books. Norris is the next dragon shifter in the series to find his mate. I think I like him the best out of all of them so far because he’s not quite as dumb as the rest of them are and instead of stringing the girl along he tells her like it is. I do think it’s kind of funny though that he blurts out that he is a dragon shifter and of course Lisa thinks he’s a Nutter. he also doesn’t try to have sex with her right away he gives her a chance to let things sink in before he does that. Gavin is one of the smarter ones in this series. he needs his fated mate and just like the rest of him he doesn’t even realize it. At least he doesn’t jump right into the sex. he does take his time to get to know her a little bit before he has sex with her. The last book in this series is about TJ and his fated mate. This book was like reading a high school drama. when Celeste saw TJ with his friends mates, instead of acting like a mature woman, she acted like a jealous high school girl, and went back to her hotel and decided to plot revenge. The way the sex scenes are described in these books is hilarious. I understand that the writer might want to keep the romance scenes clean but it is ridiculous throughout the whole book series. Not only is there no slang terms usedd for the sexual anatomy but the proper terms aren’t used either. I just think it’s too funny. The way they react after the guy gets the girl pregnant is funny too. It’s like a child cartoon, we did it! If you like books with the women that can’t do anything for themselves and they have to wait for the man to swoop in and protect them then this book is for you. If not I wouldn’t read it.
6 Dragon's are accused off crime's they supposedly committed, and verity deny wholeheartedly, are banished from their home planet of Fiora. Forced to elk out new live's for themselves on Earth, hiding their true selves and trying to come to term's with their feelings of abandonment and betrayal. On top of all this they need to find their one true mate's, keep them safe, have children, who will help save shifter magic for both world's and probably other world's as well, well fighting against the minion's of Chaos, who want to destroy them all. As for their Oracle, and Elder's, blah! A statue, a medal and a seat on the council, in no way makes up for the betrayal they themselves committed against these honorable Dragon's. I enjoyed the story line, and found each book an easy read, that kept me reading until the last page. If your looking for an interesting tale of Dragon's, then I would recommend you give this box set a try. I look forward to reading more from from this author in the future.
Terrific stories about Dragon shifters end their human mates
The book is about Dragon shifters wrongfully accused and banished to Earth. They each meet their loving mate, who are Lori (another race of humans that live on Flora and elsewhere in the universe) and have the power of goodness and Light. Enemies of the Dragon shifters try to capture the women for their power.
The characters are unique, emotional, and funny. The dragon shifters are funny because they are trying to adapt to living on Earth. The women are Lori who don't know their heritage and bloodline.
The stories have emotional dialogue within to solve individual problems. The content of the dialogues seem to show the uncertainty I'm making decisions. This had a tendency of being too wordy but did convey the emotional thoughts of the individual. Descriptive scenarios of the characters and their surroundings, especially the variety of aliens who wanted to harness the the women's power to bring about chaos and change the balance from good to evil.
It was like Mrs. Cleaver meets alien. Max is a dragon shifter from another world. Andrea is a meek and mild tempered school teacher that's a desendant of Loni from his world. He's big, bold and beautiful, supposed to be alpha like and the author has him come across as Mr. Cleaver. REALLY? The first intimacy scene, Max has a muscle not a penis or .......well you get the point. Hips roll..... like we're talking about taking a leisurely walk in the park. Then when Andrea's powers kick in she blasts her boss over the phone and Max looks at her like she's a super hero. Too corny, overall quality of writing and story are weak. Such a shame because I love dragons. Granted shifter stories are hard to pull off, but this one really needs help in order to save.
Having read all the books in the “Banished Dragons” collection separately, I have no problem recommending this set. Leela has created a vivid and appealing dragon shifter world that draws you into an enticing and exciting story-line. The collection is outstanding with each book focused on one of the banished dragons and the quest to find their true mate. This box set has it all with spine-chilling suspense and sizzling romance. The collection provides hours of fantastic reading with well-developed plots and hot sexy dragon shifters. Don't miss out. Grab the “Banished Dragons” collection today.
This is a wonderful, entertaining shifter collection that will immediately draw you in and you will be totally captivated until the last page is turned. The characters in the various books are well-developed and entwine well with each other with regards to the situation they find themselves in and react with fears, doubts, needs and desires. The story-lines & plots are well-written & entertaining. There is an epilogue included in this book which is also well-written and entertaining. There is: exiled dragons, Loni descendants, wolf shifters, drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, mystery, magic, quests, fated mates, attractions, danger, threats, evil, dark forces, devious plans, friendship, deceit, anger, disbelief, betrayal, conflict, disrespect, abduction, violence, rescued, disagreements, irrefutable evidence, desire, love, passion, happiness & some steam. I really would recommend this collection to people who enjoy reading dragon romance.
I really enjoyed this series about the banished dragons. There are six dragon shifters learning to navigate their way on earth. They each have to find their fated mate and convince them to become a couple. There are a lot of laughs and quite a bit of misunderstandings before they get their happy ever afters. I was fearful that this series would be like another series about shifters that come to earth but it was nothing like that one and promised to continue with a new generation. Great job
I enjoyed these books, although the storyline in each of the ‘books’ were a bit too similar, I felt it had so much promise. It read better than the stonybrooke shifters set that came next however it had just as much promise as this set. Similarity and repetition can be difficult to avoid. I’m not capable of writing a book at all snd am in awe of any who can. So much promise from this author, less similarity in stories would make a very big difference here. Cheers
A new universe, where shifters and other beings are actually not native to Earth. Six males wrongly accused of treason are banished to a small, uncivilized planet. Earth. Far from home the must scratch out a new life for themselves. Oh and find the beings responsible for the magic that keeps shifters alive before their enemies get to them and destroy the universe as they know it.
Love there's an end to the end! Yet, it is also a beginning. Seems it is the start to a new trilogy or more. The characters are wonderful and the wtiting is good. There are a few places that proofing should be done, missing a couple words or capitalization at the beginning of a sentences. Leela has a great mind filled with great stories and I am pleased I tried her series.
The Banished Dragons series was a great collection of stories that contained lots of humor, angst, mystery, suspense, and many unexpected twists and turns. There were a few editing errors throughout the series, but nothing that took away from the story. Overall, it was a great collection that everyone can easily enjoy. I would recommend this book, series, and author.
This collection consists of 6 separate stories of each of the 6 dragons banished from their planet for a crime they were not guilty of. When they start a new life on Earth, the 6 men are determined to find their fated mates and conceive a sacred child in order prove to the elders they are innocent and to protect the universe's magic. Each story has their own obstacles, danger and how their fated mates were discovered. I enjoyed reading this collection.
In this book, we have 6 banished dragons from the world of Fiona. They are falsely accused of treason and sent to earth. They have to find their fated mates for the upcoming battle between order and chaos. The 6 guys are clueless and stumble upon their mates. There's a bunch of trouble for each as they fight to save their mates and they come out victorious. They each get their HEA.
This collection is really action packed. The one thing that was curious to me was the idea that the dragons didn't recognize their fated mates by the feelings that they got from just being around them....except Max. He knew right away and from a distance lol. A good read, thank you, Phyllis
When six handsome banished dragons come to Earth with a mission to find missing decendends many chaotic events convene. Each one adapts, finds a mate, has a child with powerful insights that help to save the universe. True love has many conversations proving some time is needed to complete every mission.
This was a good series. A different type of Dragon story but still good. I was a little disappointed that the dragons didn't know their mates right off the bat. Max did but the other 5 were a little slow on realizing that. I did enjoy the series though. Thank you for the interesting series.
Gave a 5 star rating because it was a good book. But! It did start to get a bit, not quite boring, more predictable. Meet mate have few problems, get together, instant baby. Each book was good, mostly, including the end, but, even for a fantasy it was a bit short and far fetched. Everything happened so quick, sorry Sue P
A set of journeys of six banished dragon shifters to earth...and their discovery of their fated mates. Their sometimes hapless ways in dealing with humans and trying to win their mates will have you giggling and the enemies will have you rooting even harder...of course their HEA will elicit an 'ahhh'. Delightful escape from an author that delivers every time!!
If you love paranormal stories about dragons this is a spectacular full service of different dragon friends and how they find the loves of their lives.
This is a truly amazing and different series. Plenty of action, drama, excitement, intrigue, and romance throughout! The final epilogue brings it all together and gives me hope for a spinoff series?
I enjoyed reading this box 📦 set, there is plenty of action and intrigue in these stories. The chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this box 📦 set, as a FREE copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Enjoyed the series. Each book can be read as standalones but I think you get more out of them if you read in order. After the last book I thought it was just going to end there. I was so happy to see the epilogue. It wrapped everything up perfectly.
Six banished dragons. On trumped up charges, the men are sent to Earth. They each meet their fated mate. Forces are out to get the women who are Loni's. Each story has nasty aliens
I cant even finish book 3, this is crazy. I mean the exact same behavior by each Male character so far. They seem stupid, not naive. How many times will you try to reinvent the same wheel. I will attempt to finish because I paid for it.
I really enjoyed this book. The adventure and the characters were interesting and mostly likable. The romance was top-notch, the sex was hot,but a bit repetitive. I will read more books by this writer.
They were wrongly accused and banished with a mission to go with it as well. Banished to a planet that was so different from their own!! Will they succeed or fail? Read & find out
