There is a fugitive loose on McGuire Mountain. Local law enforcement asks Breeze to help track the man down. The mission goes horribly wrong. In the process of trying to make it right, Breeze uncovers corruption by the Chief of Police. Though he’s committed no crime, he once again finds himself on the wrong side of the law. He thinks the problem is resolved, but someone is stalking his cabin. Breeze and Brody become prisoners in their own home. The situation forces Breeze to utilize his mountain skills like never before.
Ed Robinson is one of those authors that draws you into his books. He always makes me feel like I am there and alive as a character. I always hope to take my time and enjoy his book over weeks, but I find myself staying up late and reading his book in 1-2 days. Another great job!
I have read every book written by Robinson and have obviously enjoyed he work very much. This book however captivated me with an intrigue I hope to find in his next work . I'm waiting!
Thought I'd miss the trawler thing. Didn't happen. Ed Robinson proves to be masterful story teller no matter the environment. I remain addicted to this series. Keeps getting better.
Can't say no. Breeze should have that tattooed somewhere. The strife in the relationship because of that rings so true. This book is almost a 2 fer. Two good stories for the price of 1.
Easy read especially if you have familiarity with area
Likable characters. Nice writing touch when describing man/dog relationship. I’m beginning to think Brody needs a more full experience than “home economics “
Once again another great 👍one a pretty good story and breeze is setting his karma in the right direction Brodie giving him help and always there for him and Red
Story after story, they only get better, everyone different, but entertaining. Great adventure, suspense, and the mystery never stops. There's even time for a bit of love. Rock on
I still long for the story line surrounded by places I have been to in a car or boat in and around Florida. Breeze without a boat does not seem the same.....
