This addition to the series has the same editing issues and strange word choices as the first book but, unlike the first book, almost all the sex in this book is alluded to or weirdly interrupted or unfinished. It also added nothing to the world building but had so many chances to.

New to me author. This was a short MMMMM paranormal story. Four vampires and one werewolf living together and celebrating Christmas with family and acquaintances. Great writing, I’m not really a fan of more than 3 in a relationship but this story was awesome and was easy to read. Look forward to more of this series and more from this author.

"No. Let's make it a competition,” Braydon said. “Whoever brings the perfect Christmas tree back to Karter wins a Christmas lap dance and a whole night with our werewolf, uninterrupted by any of the rest of us.”
"Now wait a fucking mi-"
"Deal," Axel said.
"Agreed," Eddison said.
"You will all lose," Weston said, as he took off ahead of everyone.
"Damn it. The cheat," Braydon commented before running off just as fast.
Then Eddison ran off to get a tree.
Axel looked at Karter. "Stay near the limo; we’ll be right back."
Before Karter could say anything, Axel was gone.
What the fuck just happened?.....

This novella was a delightful addition to a sizzling series. I couldn't get enough of the lighthearted Christmas traditions after such an intense ending in More Than Blood. After what these characters went through, it was joyous to see them all together. I loved this playful side to these characters. Cambridge (Weston's brother) makes a surprise appearance, Braydon's antics had me laughing-out-loud on numerous occasions.

I adored seeing a different side to Karter, was he ushers in a new traditional the vampire mansion and teaches these men lessons about the holidays. Not to mention, Karter's 'gift' to Weston, Braydon, Eddison, and Axel had me laughing out loud and blushing at the same time. A quick, feels good, super sexy holiday read...okay, I am off to start the next book.

Not bad

Was not what I was expecting, considering I went into this book blind not even reading the cover. Was a quick read and would read more similar too it.

Tbh this was disappointing… I liked the first book for the funny vampire-werewolf-premise and their interactions. This one had no real interaction, it was more of let’s get them and all the side characters together and have them discuss glitter. Half the novella is them complaining how glitter gets everywhere and they can’t get rid of it. Every time we got close to the main characters having a real interaction they were interrupted (phone call, falling asleep etc.).

I feel stupid complaining about it since this was obviously never supposed to be Nobel prize literature but the lack of continuity bugged me. For example Karter is very adamant that he wants to go and pick out a tree himself. It was mentioned so many times how he loves picking out a tree each year and thinks it’s great fun. The vampires do take him to a forest but then make him stay at the car while they run off on their own and get a tree. Karter then suddenly forgets how important it was for him to pick out the tree 2 pages ago -.-

The writing felt lackluster and the formatting was off at the end.

Lola wants a family Christmas and expects Karter to host. Convincing his vampires is easy and once again there is no problem that can't be solved by throwing money at it. Decorating the trees was both fun and sweet.
Short. A fun romp through the season.

good

This was a good short story exploring their relationship. The tree completion was pretty funny, as was the whole glitter thing.

A short little story what ruined it for me was the way the sister talked to Karter and the way she left pissed me off and I wished she wasnt

I'm trying to read as many novellas I can find to reach my reading goal this year, but I regret grabbing this one. To its credit, I didn't really know what was going on in it because I have not read any of the previous books, so I don't think it had a fair shot with me.

Glitter is Life!!! So Sparkle!!!💜🌈💚

This little novella is a Holiday treat that takes place a few months after Karter and his vampires have settled into a blissful routine of all things sexy vampires and werewolves do when they mate. 💋

With Christmas right around the corner, Karter wants to Not only spend the Holiday with Weston, Axel, Eddison, and Braydon, but he wants to include his sister, her Alpha mate, and members of her wolf pack, along with Prince Weston's brother, and a few vamps from his den. His sister wanted them there, so she and Karter could collectively thank them for rescuing, and saving their lives, when they were taken by rogue vampires and nearly killed.

While Karter and the boys transform their mansion into a winter wonderland, Karter begins to realize just how much his vampires have come to mean to him. He finally has a home, a true family to call his own, and he feels the stirrings of love, not just for one but for all of them. The problem then becomes, will be have the guts to say anything, or will be fun in fear of rejection.

I love these characters so much, and hope the series continues. I would love to see this world expand and grow to include Prince Weston's side and even learn more of his brother.

Good Good Stuff!!! 💖

Christmastime

Fun read for putting you in the holiday mode. Four male vampires and their wolf celebrate Christmas. Humorous story line, intriguing characters, a smile generator.

As I am a gatherer of books, I collect books and ebooks from a variety of sources: Goodreads wins, BookBub, BookFunnel, Riffle, Prolific Works, emails from authors and publishers, and others. I do lose track of their sources. But, as a reader, I feel I should give an honest, unencumbered review for all I read.

Can you ever have too much glitter? According to Braydon that answer is no. Though his other men would disagree and possibly burn the place down after letting him loose.

That is Christmas with Karter and his men, very sweet, somewhat awkward and ending with lap dances.

It lacked some of the hot moments that was in the other books, but it held the humour that I liked between them.

Great Holiday story with a wolf and his four vampires celebrating Christmas for the first time in hundreds of years. Read this and had to go buy their story of how they met (More Thank Blood). Can't wait for the next of this series by Brea.

Lovely

This was a beautiful addition to the first book. A lovely short with an enchanting ending. This feels like the glue to bind them before the next books trials and tribulations.

Nice getting an update

I enjoyed this quick read. Getting an update about characters I connected with in the other book. This didn't pack the heat that the first book did but it did expand on the story and the up loose ends.

Book needs some editing. Cute, quick Xmas story. I wished it had had different POV's. I'm curious to see how this series evolves.
