I honestly don't know how I've been so oblivious to how freaking good Christine Feehan's books are. Leopard's Wrath was incredibly hot, suspenseful, and unputdownable! Mitya was a man used to getting what he wanted, who he wanted, when he wanted. His leopard was a barely controlled feral beast and the chances of him finding happiness were slim to none. When he meets Ania, he realizes that she's the only one who quiets his animal, giving him a feeling of peace he's never had. It doesn't hurt that she's drop-dead gorgeous with a kind and generous heart. While he worries about introducing her to the precarious and dangerous life he leads, she's got an agenda of her own. He tries to keep her safe while she constantly throws herself in danger. Used to having his orders obeyed, she's giving him a fight. Together, these two were a battle of wits, motives, and souls. They were perfection!

"Fucking you is pure paradise." He nearly snarled it. "I'm looking at your mouth and I wish I had another cock to bury down your throat until you're nearly choking on me. Stretch your lips around me until you can't open any wider."

Between Mitya's dirty and delicious mouth, his need for dominance, his overt sexuality, his prowess in the bedroom (or backseat of a car), and his overall awesomeness, I easily fell in love with this story. I loved every time he butt heads with Ania's stand for independence, how capable he was in battle, and how deeply he cared for her and those closest to him. After learning so much about these leopard's and their lives, I can't wait to read more about them!

The queen of paranormal romance has done it again with a thrilling, steamy and laveously written addition to the Leopard People Series.

Mitya is an enforcer for his clan, harden, always fighting his beast side. He has accepted the fact that he will never find a mate, until he has a chance encounter with Ania, who soothes his beast. Mitya is scared that his leopard will destroy Ania.

Ania is out for revenge. But something deep inside her is calling out for Mitya. The demanding, dominant Mitya.

This is hot and steamy pairing where Feehan holds nothing back in describing Ania’s and Mitya’s developing relationship.

I’ve read all Feehan’s books and I have to say that she really knows how to bring the heat…in this case, quite literally. I have noticed that some of Feehan’s stories are very dark but this story is dark, but seems less dark than other novels in Feehan’s current lineup.

Check out an excerpt of Leopard's Wrath on Tome Tender.
I received this ARC copy of Leopard's Wrath from Penguin Random House. This is my honest and voluntary review. Leopard's Wrath is set for publication November 2019.

This review was originally posted on Addicted To RomanceI received this book for free from Berkley Publishing Group in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Leopard's Wrath is the newest installment of the "Leopard People" series by the infamous Christine Feehan and let me tell you I just flew threw the pages of this book. The one aspect of this author is I ALWAYS can get into her books very easily and this book was no different for me. Now I will say this series, is a hit or miss for me. Out of all of her books, these are the most "pushed boundaries" books you will pick up. The alpha males in these stories can get too dark at times so that is something to be aware of. But this book it was a bit more manageable and I was prepared for it in this one. And the heroine definitely holds her own so I love seeing this element.

Our story starts off with a flat tire....our hero Mitya Amurov has lived his whole life in crime and a brutal atmosphere. Having been abused by his father since he was just a few years old. Now he is on the run with his men, working on building himself a new life away from the cruelty he has always known. But both he and his leopard will always be affected. Until he comes across a young woman with a flat tire, and for the first time his leopard is calmed and he realizes one thing....he has found his mate and he will fight and protect for her no matter the cost. Ania Dover has just about lost everything. Her family is being killed, and her father is dying and she is feeling her leopard come to life and emerging. She has met a powerful and intimidating man Mitya who sees a part of her no one ever has. But she wonders if it's the leopard "Jewel" he actually wants or the woman "Ania" he truly wants in his life and loves. But as they work out their relationships and the complexities of their life, there is a group hunting them .....will they survive the tide of their enemies?

This was such a delightful book and so INTENSE .....kept me on the edge so much in many unique ways and that is Christine Feehan for you. I swear, no other author writes a book as she does....so much heat but plenty depth and plot building. I truly loved Leopard's Wrath and it probably ranks high on the list of favorites for the series. Plus we do get to see some old favorites so that was truly lovely. The one thing I didn't expect was a plot of their enemies trying to create mistrust between them. I SO didn't see that build-up actually happening but boy it really worked for the story.

The romance between Ania and Mitya was so heartfelt at times. These two .....their relationship is pretty tense at times. And their leopards are part of the problem because well they are leopards LOL not easy to find balance between four personalities. But it is done despite some misunderstandings that occur. What we see though is how right they are for each other. I loved the strength and tenacity that Ania has and the way she handles Mitya. Now granted at times she does let her emotions get the better of her but she admits when she is wrong and I did appreciate that aspect of her character. I did feel like there were some things missing, like Mitya fully grasping and accepting Ania for who she really is. Eventually, they find the balance they need in their relationship and once that happens then its truly beautiful to see them blossom together.
"I love you so much Ania. the things you do to me, the way you make me feel are beyond description" He grabbed his chest over his heart. He meant the physical, that was so obvious, but it was so much deeper, that feeling. So overhwleming, and impossible to convey to her how she made him feel inside.

Overall I found Leopard's Wrath to be a thrilling adventure, a hot as sin sexy romance and packed with all the suspense and intense dynamics to keep you on edge and full of expectations that are satisfied!!!

More porn than book

Christine Feehan has always been one of my favorite authors....But I have started noticing more and more her books have taken a different turn in all of her series.... I find myself excited another book has come out of the many series she writes only to find myself disappointed...again and again....Her books become more and more violent and I find myself skipping through the "endless porn" just to get to the storyline and find it quickly goes right into violence.... I miss the books that she used to write ...

It’s been I while since I’ve read anything from this author but I used to devour her books by the bucket-load.
This is part of her leopard shifter series and I believe I may have read one earlier in the series years ago but I read this completely as a stand-alone and managed to follow along easily.
Yes, there are plenty of previous characters included here but this did work for me though it would probably definitely enhance this to read them all in order.

This was action-packed with plenty of danger included and I found it an easy read.
It was incredibly hot in content and Ania and Mitya who were the central characters here had such an intense dynamic and connection.
This managed to mix the paranormal shifter aspect with organised crime and I love the idea that their inner leopards had a separate identity and conscience to the actual shifter this was a unique touch.

Mitya himself is a very dominant and dangerous man as is his inner leopard Dymka.
He’s used to being in charge and he’s a rough ruthless individual, he’s had to be that way his background from a vicious Russian shifter crime family which he managed to escape from is a dark and cruel one which both he and Dymka carry the scars of to this day

Ania is also of Russian descent and her family exists on the fringes of this word so she’s no stranger to this type of lifestyle.
Her inner leopard is Jewel and she’s just finding her feet her appearance finally emerging with Mitya entering her life.

I enjoyed this one very much it’s quite graphic in terms of content and has a lot going on it easily managed to keep my attention and I do so love me a possessive obsessed male willing to take on the world for his mate.

Christine Feehan's novel, "Leopard's Wrath," is the latest exhilarating story in her exquisitely written leopard's series. This novel is as exciting and thrilling as the previous books.. I love these ferocious Russian amur leopards and those of the Amurov family. Former defectors from the most violent and blood-thirsty lairs, this book centers on Mitya Amurov, cousin to Timur and Fyodor Amurov.

Mitya has lived a hard and dangerous life and he and his cousins are in the U.S. and stalked by Mitya's violent and vengeful father lazar. Mitya has given up any hope of a life of peace or a family of his own, he is dedicated to the protection of Fyodor and his mate, Evangeline. Mitya is recovering from being severely wounded when he stepped in front of bullets meant for Fyodor.

The heroine, Ania Dover, is a young woman forma loving family and following the suspicious deaths of her grandparents and illness of her father, Ania is running the family business of detailing and driving luxury cars for wealth clients. however, Ania is also a woman on a mission that she has been training herself for the past three years, and her laser focus is on her mission not on a relationship with a dangerous leopard shifter.

Unbeknown to Ania, she is coming into her first life cycle, she suspects that she's a shifter since father is one, and her leopard is introduced as Jewel. Jewel is a frisky little minx but also protective of Ania. Though jewel accepts her mate she is scoping out other male leopards and refuses to fully emerge because she thinks to protect Ania from Mitya and his scary mean leopard, Dymka. It will take a lot of persuasive communication and action for Jewel and Ania to trust their mate.

I loved Ania, she was a beautiful and determine young woman who took it upon herself to run her family business while caring for her ailing father and teaching herself to become a sharp and accurate sniper. She was confident as well as gracious and compassionate. She stood up for herself when Mitya was a little too overbearing yet she was willing to compromise when he listened to her and talked to his leopard, who was causing some trouble with his demanding ways.

Despite the pain and darkness that Mitya was raised in, he maintains his core of humanity by wanting to be better. Ania reaches something that is buried deep inside him and she feels the empty spaces with hope and light. I loved these two as a couple because they each relied on the other's strength, Ania sniper skills saved Mitrya's ass more than once.

All is not as it seems though in the Leopard world, however, as there is an insidious plot to turn friends against friends and playing on the suspicions and mistrust of the outsider Russian shifters. So-called evidence has been subtly planted to through shade on the bussing partners ships between the Russian shifters and their new friends, Jake Bannaconni, Drake Donovan ( and his security company) , and Joshua Tregre. There was even some question of the loyalty of my beloved young leopard Jeremiah! I liked the introduction of the new leopard families, the Carusos and Anwars, but I am leery of both because of some of their actions and behaviors. It will interesting to see who is actual friend or foe in later books.

But on a comforting note, it was wonderful to touch base with the other amur shifters and their mates, Evangeline and Ashe and it was heart-warming that Ania was so warmly welcomed and embraced by the other two women. I cannot wait for Evangeline's twins to be safely born. Despite all the danger that surrounds the shifters, the bonds of family and community are their saving grace. Excellent work Ms. Feehan, looking forward to the next leopard book!

I picked this up on a complete whim, because I was curious about Feehan's writing, and I could barely make it through the first 80 pages of the book. These are some of the horrific lines I pointed out when I was ranting about this to Myth (they are graphic in nature, so please do not read this if you are underage or sensitive to this material)

We exist in the #MeToo era for a very important reason, and this book blasts that to hell. We need to stop allowing romance authors to normalize this bullshit. I don't care if it's normal in Adult romance; that doesn't make it okay. Adult women can still internalize this bullshit, so publishers need to put a fucking stop to this.

Another emotional powerhouse…

This series is one of my all-time favourites! Mixing sweltering smexy with danger, intrigue and family, it hit all the highs, lows, and everything in between. You might think after ten stories in the series that this one would be simply more of the same. It was - the good stuff anyway - while it also added another complex character to the mix...

Ania was hanging on by a thread. Her family was in tatters and there was only one thing that kept her going. Revenge. Trust was in short supply and even those she long thought were friends to her family, came into question. When Mitya said he was her champion, it was easy to see why she was skeptical…

Mitya valued family, whether by blood or by choice, above all else. When Ania quickly became his everything, he would do anything to make her his own. That is when it got a whole lot more complicated.

Ania and Mitya’s story was a whirlwind of emotion as they both struggled with the new feelings they had for each other. Love wa always complicated but if you put life-threatening danger – and leopards – into the mix, a normal courtship became impossible. Impossible, passionate, uncertain. At times, my heart was racing as Ania dealt with one blow after another, shaking her belief in all she held true. Even her belief in herself… Surprisingly, even with Mitya’s formidable and stoic approach to love, there was still room for gentleness and hints of humour…

If I found the story details were repeated (something I’ve noted in recent stories by this author), I still couldn’t find myself caring too much. Between Mitya and Ania there was heat, true love and a sense that their romance could be anyone’s as it dealt with all that life could throw at it. How they handled it was reading bliss… ~Diane, 4.5 stars

"Leopard's Wrath" is the story of Ania and Mitya.

So firstly, this is one of my all time favorite series, and I was in process of rereading the previous books when Amazon notified me that this was out. I dropped all of my daily chores, and got on to reading it. Right off the bat, loved the fierce cover!

Story wise, the book's hero is Mitya Amurov, a tortured, ruthless leopard, who has come from roots of crime and pure evil, but now works for the good people. He finds his mate in Ania Dover, whose family has recently been butchered by criminals, and is a she-leopard on the verge of Van-Hol-Dan. As they meet and engage in wild, animalistic, primitive mating, Mitya's past and Ania's present decide to catch up with them- making them realize that trusting each other might be the only way to come out of this alive.

Another alpha possessive/obsessive hero with a very dark past, finding his soulmate with a strong heroine who comes from a loving (dead) family. Their leopards are Jewel and Dymka, who had some tiffs and issues to work out before mating. The plot was average, with so many familiar elements mixed with a few new ones. We saw updates on past MCs, and learned so many new things about our present couple too. Angsty in some parts, super sexy in others, I wish their relationship was explored more before the repeated claiming started (let's be honest, this book is 70% super hot sex, and I enjoyed it). However, I did like how the hero went all out expressing his love and feelings for the heroine over and over, until she believed him. There's a LOT of violence and bloodshed in this book, mixed with brutal torture- so be forewarned.

Not the best in the series, but definitely not the worst.

I had been waiting for Mitya Amurov story since he was almost killed in bk.9 Leopards Fury. Mitya and his Leopard Dymka did not disappoint. They were a fighting machine.

I felt so sad for Ania Dover our heroine of the story. To lose her father Antoska Dover and her entire family the way she did was so sad. When her father had to be killed I just cried.

The storyline is very good and the revisiting of all the old characters from previous books was fun.

The reason I gave Leopards Wrath 4 stars instead of 5 was 1. After each great action scene there was a very erotic sex scene between Mitya and Ania but there was no romance or passion. It felt like just hard core grunge sex. It wasn't until toward the very end did I feel the love between the couple. 2. Having a sex scene after each action scene broke up the storyline. As usual with CF 50% of her story is sex!! She is such a great story teller. I wish she would spend more time on the storyline and action scenes.

Well this is how she writes and I am not giving her up. So I have to live with it LOL!!!

A passionate, exciting, and sexy read!

A passionate, exciting, and sexy read!

Action packed, suspense, tested loyalties and new enemies rise!
I enjoyed the relationship between Mitya, and Ania. She's already part of the world of the Leopards. Ania's a confident, worldly woman of means, from a loving family. Mitya comes from a abusive family that's never known love. Ania gives him what he needs to slowly balance him out. Moody, dominate, but loving male!

Mitya and those he loves are in danger from his father Lazar Amurov. While preparing for an attack, someone is trying to start a war between the Crime Families. Ania's family, who are Transporters for Criminal families have been set up, and slowly have been killed because Ania's grandfather held onto a delivery which is a book with so called evidence against Jake Bannaconni, Drake Donovan, and Joshua Tregre. Someone from their pass is coming for them, and trying to destroy them from within by taking down their coalition that keeps the criminal world in check. Traitors are already inside, loyalties will be tested!

I'm looking forward to reading Leopard’s Rage, which is Sevastyan’s story. Release Date: November 3, 2020.

「🐾 2 stars 🐾」

I tell myself I won’t do this again but I find myself giving this series one more chance, maybe because when I first started to read Christine Feehan I really liked her books but with time I started to notice the only difference between them was the names of the characters and that the sex was gaining more and more prominence—I’m not against enjoyable sex scenes but when the book is almost all about it, it just gets boring.

This one wasn’t better than the last books in the series, the same story and characterization and of course endless descriptions and inner dialogues though I struggled more because of the amount names—I’m really bad remembering names so…—and information.

I was hoping this was going to be different but it seems this time I 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂 reached my limit.

Unfortunately, I think Ms. Feehan’s writing or imagination has seriously gone downhill. Spoiler: the leopards emerge knowing their own names, they talk back and forth...it is extremely lame. I skimmed quite a lot of this book just to get it over with. I’m also dumping my copies of this series as I won’t ever be rereading them.
This is another person's review which really sums up how I feel:

What a waste of money

I love Christine forehand books but this is too much
I thought I was reading a pornography book, the character's were weak, the story made up quarter of the book
She is such an excellent writer normally , I've all her books but lately the sex scenes outweighs the story
So very disappointed with this book, are all her next books going to be the same..I hope not

REVIEW: 4.25 stars-- LEOPARD’S WRATH is the eleventh instalment in Christine Feehan’s contemporary, adult LEOPARDS paranormal, erotic, romance series focusing on a group of Leopard shifters. This is Russian leopard shifter and businessman Mitya Amurov, and Anja Dover’s story line. LEOPARD’S WRATH can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory, history and cohesion.

NOTE: LEOPARD’S WRATH contains scenes of graphic violence and implied abuse, including memories and retelling of events as well as spanking and discipline, that may not be suitable for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Ania and Mitya) LEOPARD’S WRATH follows the building relationship between Russian leopard shifter Mitya Amurov, and Anja Dover. MItya Amurov found Ania Dover stranded on the side of the road not realizing that Ania was his intended mate, a female leopard shifter who lived on the neighboring estate. About to enter into the Han Vol Dan, the female leopard shifter’s first fertile period, Ania is caught unaware as she struggles with her father’s declining health, and staying one step ahead of the people who have targeted her and her family for execution. But all is not well in the world of the Leopard shifter, as more than one family has been targeted by someone intent on destroying them all. What ensues is the building relationship between Ania and Mitya, and the potential fall-out as secrets and lies, and the struggle for power threaten everyone in Ania and Mitya’s circles.

Ania Dover comes from a long line of leopard shifters who have worked on the periphery of organized crime. A car enthusiast and lover of speed, Ania is more than capable of holding her own when it comes to getting out of harm’s way but Ania is unprepared for the emotional and physical needs of her leopard, and finds herself in situations where she has very little control. Mitya Amurov never thought he would find someone to love especially in the wake of his violent lifestyle and the abuse he suffered as a child but meeting Ania Dover meant the possibility of his own happily ever after if not for the threats against his life by the leopard that is his sire.

The relationship between Ania and Mitya is one of immediate attraction fated by DNA, need and the Han Vol Dan. Mitya Amurov, like all male leopard shifters, is a possessive and controlling man, and is aware that Ania is about to enter into her time of need, a time when every male shifter will target the woman he loves, to make her their own. Ania will become the recipient of many offers as she approaches the Han Vol Dan. Ania struggles with her attraction to Mitya, a man she knows to be dangerous and dark but her father’s rapid decline in health meant Mitya is the man to step up and help the dying shifter in his final hours. The $ex scenes are passionate, erotic, and intense. There are some scenes of spanking and discipline .

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of strong secondary and supporting characters including Mitya’s cousins and their mates: Evangeline and Fyodor Amurov (Leopard’s Blood #8), Timur and Ashe Amurov (Leopard’s Run #10), as well as Jake Bannaconni, Drake Donovan, Joshua Tegre, Elijah Lospostos, Eli Perez, Mitya’s right hand man Sevastyan, and shifters Vikenti and Zinoviy, Miron, Kiriil and Matvei, Mitya’s father Lazar; Ania’s father Antosha, as well as numerous leopard shifters from various crime families.

LEOPARD’S WRATH is a story of family, betrayal, power and revenge; a story of grief, loss, threats and control. The action packed premise is entertaining, engaging and emotional; the characters are colorful, energetic and dynamic; the romance is spicy, sensual and hot. LEOPARD’S WRATH and the Leopard Series will open up your imagination to the wonders of the paranormal.

Fast and furious with a twist. In this latest Leopard series, Ania is a woman who can drive like no other. Her faster than usual reflexes makes her an ideal getaway driver. She reminds me of Jason Statham in the Transporter, except sexier. This book can be read as a standalone. There are references to other characters from previous books. Ms. Feehan does a great job of providing enough details for backstories and tie ins that it will help new readers pick up on the world very quickly. The details are also a good refresher for readers who haven't read this series in a while.

I loved Ania. She is a woman with spunk and does her very best to save her father. She isn't exactly a daddy's girl. She is best described as a dutiful and loving daughter to her parents and grandparents. The horrendous things which have happened to her family seems to be just the beginning of a new arc in this series. I'm liking it and wanting to know more. Whilst the focus is supposed to be on Ania and Mitya's passionate romance, I'm more intrigued by the underlying story…who is trying to uncover the secret of this consortium of leopard alpha males?

Don't get me wrong, the sex in this book is hawt with an extra heaping. I tend to enjoy Ms. Feehan's shifter series because the sex is more erotic and rougher. The mated pair's primal urges comes to the forefront. Ms. Feehan's descriptions are filled with sensory detail to bring the readers in as an intimate voyeur. Mitya and Ania's struggle for dominance is fun to watch. I particularly enjoy the leopards that reside within them. Mitya's leopard is barely holding on to sanity and his reasoning is coloured by this brutal upbringing. His threats to Ania's leopard is understandable if intimidating. Ania's leopard is hilarious. She's flirty and naughty. She's just asking for a spanking. The interplay between the characters as well as their animals enriches their relationship. This pulls me into the story more and I'm riveted.

Still, I'm curious as to who is trying to undermine the Leopard consortium. There are clues and a few red herrings thrown in. This only makes me want to read the next book in the series immediately. This paranormal romance with a good dose of suspense is recommended to readers who like strong women who can match the strong men in their lives.

I just love this Leopard series and Mitya and Ania are a perfect couple but neither of them will give in to being controlled. Ania was raised by her father and grandfather with intention of carrying on the business of driving special packages and she is fiercely independent but Mitya doesn’t see that all he knows is that she calms him. Mitya is a leopard and even though Ania who is also a leopard his leopard sees hers and wants to be her mate. Mitya is dangerous and has someone after him or is it Ania because of her family? I loved Ania as she may not be a killer she can defend herself as well as any man plus she is an awesome driver but someone is coming for her and Mitya that they may not survive.

Another recycled storyline, only the names are different. As usual this could have been a decent book if there was more story and less sex. Honestly, I didn't even like the 2 main characters. I was bored with it all.

I really need to just stop reading this author. She has about ruined all her series with so much focus on sex than an actual plot. And hells bells, she could at least give the main storyline a bit more time and flesh it out more. Instead it's just rushed and it's back to sex. Very disappointing as usual

Christine Feehan’s Leopard’s Wrath is a captivating, romantic-suspense adventure wrought with heart-stopping danger and raw, intense passion between brooding alpha Mitya and Ania. Mitya Amurov is part of the dynamic of the Amurovs and their allies are working to clean up the criminal element of their kind. Born in world of crime and cruelty, he struggles daily to control his feral leopard as it claws its way to the surface. A chance encounter with Ania instantly calms the predator inside him. Ania Dover is a strong and fiercely independent woman capable of taking care of herself, and something wild within her responds to his presence. She should steer clear with a criminal like Mitya, but she can’t. Their passion is off the charts, and their lives are tightly interwoven as they confront a known enemy from Mitya’s past. Christine Feehan writes phenomenal hot-as-sin sexy romances packed with suspense in her Leopard People series that never fail to keep me on the edge of my seat. I received a complimentary ARC by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.”

I'm walking away now.

I was about to write a scathing review about this book because I really, really didn't enjoy it and have felt, for quite a while now, that Ms Feehan's books have lost their way in every department and suffer from endless repetition and tedious sex scenes that take up three quarters of her books.
Then I read about an email someone had sent to another of my favourite authors and her dignified response to it and it made me think.
Ok I didn't like this book but who am I to critique how and what an author writes. It's not my imagination, it's not I who is sitting and writing and creating these stories. These are her worlds and if I don't like it or I don't enjoy her books the way I used to. Well it's simple. I stop buying and reading them.
No one is forcing me to buy these books or to read them. So I'm going to stop.
I'm truly sad because she has been one of my favourite authors for a long time. I think her earlier books are far superior to what she is publishing now. They had better plots, dialogue, characters, romance, intimacy and well rounded, well fleshed out characters.
So, that's it. I'm done. No more Christine Feehan books for me.
Read this book and make your own mind up. It's your choice.

Love, love. loved this book. I'm a huge fan of shifter romances, and Leopard's Wrath was so easy to fall in love with. I couldn't put it down. Like... sneaking in pages while in church kind of good. Can't wait to read more by this author!

••••••••

Mitya is a cold, calculating killer and so is his leopard. He was raised in a crime family by a sadistic father who from the time he was a toddler, beat him and his leopard and made him watch their enemies be killed. Because of the way he was raised and because his father wants to kill him for leaving, Mitya is always on high alert, ready to kill anyone who comes after him. His leopard is always trying to come out and kill and it takes every ounce of strength he has to keep the animal half of him in check.

Ania came from a nice, loving family who ran packages for crime families. One of those crime families killed most of her family and almost killed her father and then came after her. She's still trying to figure out who is after her and why and when she does, she plans on getting her revenge. Her father is very ill and he's a leopard shifter but his leopard tries to get out to kill and it's only a matter of time before he does something really bad.

When Mitya stops on the side of the road to help Ania change her tire, he knows that she's his mate because her presence calms his leopard down. He tries to stay away but he can't even though he knows his life is a dangerous one. Their attraction is unmistakable, but Ania doesn't like that he's so bossy and demands that she do what he wants all the time even if it is to keep her safe most of the time.

They start off getting to know one another, all the while danger is closing in from all sides. Ania shows Mitya that she can take care of herself at times and that scares the bejesus out of him because he's so used to being in control of everyone and everything. I really liked Ania because she was strong at times but she did make a few mistakes and acted like an idiot a few other times but that made her relatable. There's a question of who is after her and why her family was killed and I had no idea who or why until the answer was revealed.

Their romance was a struggle for both of them because they both had to let their guards down and trust each other which something neither of them was used to. Add to that the emotions coming from their leopard halves and you have a combustible combination.

This entire series is a winner but this was definitely one of my favorite books from it so far.

Leopard’s Wrath by Christine Feehan
Leopard Novel #12
Release Date 11/05/2019
Review by SKO

Mitya Amurov grew up under most horrific circumstances to say the least. His father Lazar was an abusive parent to Mitya the child, the adolescent, and to his leopard. Now he is out to kill him. Mitya has joined Drake Donovan and others in a plan to eliminate the leopards choosing criminal activities, and one of those leopards is his own father, Lazar.
Ania Dover on the other hand grew up in a loving home cared for by her parents and grandparents. She was treated as an equal member of the family and trained how to defend herself and in the use all types of weapons. Losing her mother, grandmother, and grandfather in a tragic car accident left only her father. He is now the only family member left and she does not want to lose him too.
One stormy rainy day Ania and Mitya meet. Both find each other attractive as do their leopards. Mitya does not think of himself as a good man and cannot subject a good women like Ania to a life of hell he has experienced. The possibility that Ania’s family was targeted becomes a reality as Ania and Mitya discover. Someone is causing trouble and targeting Jake Bannaconi (Burning Wile) and Drake Donovan (Savage Nature). Jake, Drake and Mitya join forces to eliminate the evil leopards that want to destroy them.
Ania cannot stay away from Mitya. Their attraction grows each time they meet, and her body automatically responded to Mitya’s presents. Mitya’s leopard Dymka is determent to claims Ania’s leopard Jewel as his mate, and Mitya’s father Lazar is determined to kill them both.
Leopard’s Wrath is book 12 in Christine Feehan’s Leopard series. If you have been following the series you will love this book and won’t want to miss out. The storyline is packed with action, crime, drama, suspense and of course romance. Will Ania and Mitya get their happy ending or will Lazar destroy that too?
What to live longer? Read a book and until next time happy reading!
