This was hard to finish. Storyline was weak. Seemed to be far to many gaps causing the plot not to flow. Characters and plot were rushed and incomplete.

Felt no connection to the MC and FMC found myself forgetting their names. 🥴

I try to find something positive to say about all I read but there just isn’t something here.

This is another great story from Juniper Hart.  This is a fun and emotional romance and one of those books I couldn't put down.  Guardian Dragon has strong characters and just the right amount of suspense and a smooth flowing story.  If you are a shifter fan like I am then you'll enjoy Briar and Alec's story.  

Briar and Alec are likable and easy to root for, especially Briar.  You can't help but feel sympathetic towards her, afterall her brother is the gift that keeps on taking. 

Briar never imagined that her pain in the butt brother, would spend the money she gave him for the phone and rent - but of course he had - and not for the first time.  Now, he and his friends have gotten into trouble -- using her van.

Dragon shifter Alec and his Demon friends are surprised when oncoming bright headlights force them off the road. They are even more surprised when six humans drag them out of their vehicle and rob them at gun point even taking a set of very special, ancient wedding rings.  Rings that the two demons, Raven and Drake, plan to get back and wreak vengence on the miserable human thieves, whether the Council aporoves or not.

Thankfully, Alec finds Briar before his friends do.  He believes her when she says someone else used her van.  Now can he protect her from his angry demon friends.  Can he convince her to stop enabling and protecting her brother because she feels guilty?

This was a great read so 4 stars for the good storyline that pulled me right in. I definitely recommend this book.

Alec Petlier is the Dragon member of the Council of Seven. One night after a Council meeting, Alec, the Demon named Raven and her Demon husband Drake were in a vehicle when they were ambushed and robbed by six people in a white van. Because of Council laws, they weren't able to defend themselves accordingly to mortals, so the humiliation of being robbed by mortals was compounded by the theft of Council cell phones and the Demon couples wedding rings which were older than time. Retribution would be had if it's the last thing Raven does.
Like the first two Council of Seven books, Juniper Hart has intertwined Council members within the story while introducing us to new characters we get to know and love or hate accordingly. Dragon Guardian was particularly enchanting as there was a whole new discovery element involved which kept the mystery building to a higher level all the while, bits and pieces of information from past books are still being pulled in and reminding us of what is still waiting to be played out. What a great afternoon read and an awesome addition to the series.

I’m a big fan of Juniper Hart’s paranormal stories they are fantastic reads, wow I loved this story it’s action packed full of danger, suspense, a stupid brother, passion, some hot sizzling scenes and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. Alec is a member of the council of seven and one night he was driving with his friends Drake and Raven who are married demons they get pulled over and robbed by mortals and there was nothing that they could do about it accept being humiliated by being robbed by humans. Briar has had a hard life and her thieving brother doesn’t help especially when he keeps spending the bill money, Colton takes Briar’s van and is involved in the heist. Alec finds Briar the owner of the van she tells him that it wasn’t her that someone took her van and when she finds out that it was her brother she is beyond furious, Alec believes Briar because she is his mate and now he has to protect her from his friends especially Raven who wants justice. This is such a fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Another great book in this wonderful series her we meet Alec and Briar and who can forget the secondary characters of Raven and Drake

Briar has always tried to do the right thing and that isn't always easy with her brother and now he has put her in danger. Alexc a dragon is returning from a council of seven meeting with his friends the demons Raven and Drake when they are robbed by six humans and if that isn't embarrassing enough after all the rules deny them the right to fight back the fact that the demons wedding rings are stolen finishes a bad night. They remember the registration number of the van and know they will get the rings back. Alec tracks the rego to Briar but she tells him it wasn't her and he believes her after all he realises she is his mate Now will he be able to keep her safe from the revenge filled demons. This is a great fast fun filled story that had me flicking the pages as fast as possible another great read in this series with more secrets coming out in the underlying story

An interesting shifter romance.💞🐲🔥💞

Briar is just looking for one break in her life. She's hit the wall trying to help her younger brother get on his feet while supporting the two of them. After surviving a near-fatal accident, she realizes just how far her brother Connor has fallen and that he is willing to take her down with him. Alec is a dragon shifter who realizes that Briar is his mate and is willing to do anything to save her. But he knows Briar is stronger than she knows and is going to help her learn it. 💕💗🔥💦💕

There are quite a few subplots happening in this book and is the second part of the series Council of Seven, so it's easier to understand if you start at the first but it does stand on its own.

angry demons and undiscovered immortals

A very fast paced and exciting book with enough twists to keep you entertained and a strange romance to keep you hot on a cold night . Is blood thicker than water ? Maybe but it needs to go both ways to work and if you annoy a pair of demons badly enough you may not live long enough to see if it works or not. If you have read any of the council of 7 books before you will find several characters you have already met and if you have not don't worry as this can easily be read as a stand alone Short enough for a long evenings read and long enough for you to get completely lost in the reading

Dragon shifter Alec meets Briar after her he brother had robbed him.
Traveling home in a heavy storm with fellow Councillor Raven and her husband Drake dragon shifter Alec is surprised when bright headlight come towards them forcing them off the road. He is even more surprised when six humans get out of the van and rob them at gun point even taking the couple very special wedding rings. Raven manages to get the plate number so the owner of the van is easily traced. Chris dreams of the woman and that she is in danger so he goes looking for her he eventually finds her in hospital after being in an accident. He feels he has known Briar Baker for a long time. A dragon shifter romance to relax and enjoy.

Alec, dragon shifter and on the "Council of 7" - together with 2 demons in human form when they get mugged on the road. Only their oath to not reveal their paranomral existence prevents them from fighting back. All they have is the license plate number.
Although asked to stand down and let others do the tracking Alex has a strange feeling and while he is checking things out, he meets his mate.
Briar is furious when her brother borrows her car without asking her permission, but never expected to be on a hit list of a demon because of it.
An intriguing story, a little complex, but really well-written and fun to read. I like all stories of the "Council of 7", but this is definitely my favorite.

Dragon Guardian is truly a 5-star read! Juniper Hart brings to life a paranormal story of a dragon named Alec and Briar, a woman who is falsely accused of robbery by a demon and the demon's lover. The mistake opens up a situation comparable to herding cats. Juniper Hart takes this plot and twists it into an incomparable read that sets it apart by its originality. She is a masterful storyteller and had me hooked immediately. Who committed the robbery? Why are the 2 demons so angry? Why does Alec step in to help Briar? All of these questions and more are answered on the way to an HEA ending. KUDOS, MS. HART!

Briar did not think that her pain in the butt of a brother, Colton, would squander the money she gave him for the phone and rent - but of course he had - and not for the first time.

Worse, he and his friends seem to have gotten themselves mixed up in some trouble, and did it using her van.

Ever gotten a demon angry? How about two of them? Colton bit off more than either of them can chew - and since the van belonged to Briar, blame might well fall on her, even though she was not involved.

An action packed way for Dragon Alec to meet his mate.

I loved the first book in this series and was very keen to read the next. I was not disappointed. Alec is a dragon shifter on the Council and Briar is mortal. After a robbery Raven is hell bent on revenge. This book gives more insight into the workings of the council and the hot headed Raven and her mate Drake (I would love to see their back story). Briar was a worthy heroine who had been dealt a crappy hand in life and had been used by both her brother and ex. Alec was level headed and caring even when conflicted. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one.

This is a tale of misunderstanding, trust, or more accurately mistrust, faith and love. When 2 council members and one partner, on their way home from a meeting are robbed at gun point not far from Alec's home misunderstanding is sparked. This leads into a hunt for Briar Baker, supposedly the perpetrator of the crime! Alec, a dragon, tries to assist her when he discovers she is not actually guilty! Adventure, romance - to a degree - and danger abound. This is a great book and can actually be read standalone
Highly recommended from an authir very firmly in my favourites column!

Council members Alec, Raven and Drake are robbed on their way home from a council meeting, while keeping their supernatural selves hidden from the mortal thieves. They have the robbers car license and Alec is sent to track the car to its owner, who turns out to be his mate. Briar says she is innocent of any wrongdoing, but two of the items stolen are precious artifacts, the wedding rings of the pissed off demon couple who want their rings back! The truth needs to be told and the rings returned to the relentless demons Raven and Drake. Lots of action and romance and a happy ending! Nice!

Her brother Colton has messed up again! But in doing so he's put Briar in mortal danger, but also she's met Alec, so it's not all bad is it?
Well there's Raven gunning for her and the last thing you want is a demon and her husband wanting you dead.
I love Juniper Hart's books and this one is no exception, it's such an easy read to get into and the story flows like honey. I live the way that although we are totally concerned with the main characters we get to touch base with previous characters like Lane and Henry.
I wonder what's next for the Council?

All the members of the council of seven are finding their mates. This time Alec will have his chance. That is if she doesn’t get killed before he can save her. A few interesting twists and one vengeful demon will keep the action going in this story. Briar’s character definitely has a big heart but she can be annoying on how much she lets her brother step all over her and use her for his own personal gain. Alec is definitely a knight to the rescue type when it comes to Briar. So expect action and romance throughout the story.

Well, I still have just as much love for this series as when I started it. The character are amazing. I love their strength and their passion. Its 2 AM now, so my head isnt working well enough to figure out if there will be another book in this series. Either way, I am curious and excited to see what Juniper will come out with next.

This is somewhat different from the usual shifter stories. I loved Alec (even though he is not an alpha male) but I wanted Briar to be a little less of a doormat for her brother. There is a little bit of steamy, but it would have been just as good without it.This is well written and I found the story engaging.

This well written story has shifters, demons and humans. It’s not too long so can be read in a day/night. The story-line is interesting and has the 2 main character – the male alpha dragon shifter finding his true mate who happens to be a human female. It’s has mystery, action, humor and romance, it’s easy to read and can be read as a stand-alone book without having read the previous books in the series. This is a sweet read about a girl who is suddenly thrown into a life and death situation because of a robbery by her brother who puts her life in danger. Robbing 3 immortals comes with consequences when they don't want the items stolen to be found. Alec is reluctantly drawn into the situation when a dream awakens him and he discovers his robbers sister is much more than anyone expected. She is his mate.

I just love this series. This book is just as good as the others. The author does an amazing job bringing the characters to life and keeping the reader engaged (from beginning to end) to find out what happens to Alec and Briar. I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it to anyone who loves romantic shifter books.

The Fated Convene

Alec & Briar are from different worlds, but come together when Alec is drawn to her by fate and mystical circumstance. Interesting magical beings inhabit this story and create an interesting and scary world. Loyalty of family and friends, or lack thereof, bring Alec and Briar together and help strengthen the connection fate has wrought. It's a well paced paranormal novella that was fun to read.

This story is awesome and did I say love sexy dragon shifters. Alec is Briar's protector and he is about to find out some secrets about her. Briar's brother is working against and its about to blow up in her face and she doesn't even know it.
