I really wanted to like this series but I didn’t for many reasons. The writing was sub par as was the storyline. The characters were immature and the over use of “the parental units” was annoying and same with the repetitive information and inner thoughts. But what I hate most in a book is when the author can’t keep time lines consistent and I mean noticeable ones and it’s continuous throughout the whole series, it drives me absolutely insane. The other annoyance is when an author can’t keep the names of characters straight. Such as in the first and third book the heroines name was Ella Carlson. In the second book she was Ella Carter. I will never understand how authors make these critical mistakes and how no one catches these errors when editing. It really makes it hard for readers to actually enjoy the book and then feel obligated to write a negative review. I have enjoyed this writers books in the past but after this hot mess of a book I will not be investing my time to read future books in the series.
I wanted to like this series after reading the description but way too many grammar and chronological errors to be a smooth read. Also felt like the author could have accomplished telling the story much better in one book rather than 3 drawn out books
As much as I loved the first two books… this one was infuriating. It was RIDDLED with grammatical errors and spelling mistakes. It was so repetitive. I swear I read the same exact sentence 5 times within 3 paragraphs. The timeline was an absolute mess. It was super inconsistent to the point of confusion. The names of some of the characters changed and continued to change throughout the story. This has to be the most lazy writing I’ve EVER seen. The irony is that it’s about an aspiring writing that wants to be an editor and an owner of a publishing company… yet the author definitely didn’t edit this book. I’m so disappointed.
What a finish!! Great book! This is a wonderful finish to the series. I think it is the best part, loved this book. The story is meaningful in so many ways, the supportiveness between Josh and Ella, their love and devotion, and of course, the chemistry! Fabulous story. Highly recommended. I received an ARC for an honest review.
I was pleased with the conclusion of Josh and Ella’s story. They had a few bumps in the road on the way to their happily ever after, but they held on to their love for each other. I am hoping that David is the next McIntyre brother’s story to be told.
I love the sparks and the love you feel between Ella and Josh. I liked how Josh's father in-law told him a secret and strengthened the bond between the two of them. Ella and Josh get married !!!
Totally a great read. Had romance and mystery all together. This is the third book in the series and can not wait till the next books in this series comes out
Loved the three books. Of course I read them one after the other. Can't wait to see who Ella's BFF ends up with. I'm guessing David, but who knows. Love the interesting times of suspense.
The storyline in this one felt a bit contrived, like the author was just trying to make it a trilogy and stretching out a plotline to get to the wedding. But I still enjoyed it
