Not a worthy read. Total time waste. After 20-25 pages you will realise it. I somehow finished it just for the sake of completing it. This book is totally disorganized. Kahi bhi kuch bhi shuru aur khatam ho rha that too abruptly. If they had worked on the flow of the events and organisation then possibly it would have been a better book. Only thing well written in this book is India's fight for freedom after the revolt of 1857.


I got this book in The puffin essential India box set. This book set had another book The Incredible History of India's Geography, which too talks about the same. That book was far better and well illustrated than this one. If you want to know about Indian history then better read it rather than this one. This book is not at all interesting
