Este o carte standalone în cadrul seriei The Zodiac Lovers, deci poți s-o citești fără să fi citit celelalte volume. Este volumul 12, dedicat semnului zodiacal Săgetător. Personajul masculin este profesor, la o universitate din insula Hawaii, Sven LeBlanc, un tip inteligent, filosofic, care s-a plimbat mult prin lume și acum predă un curs denumit Cultural Taboo. Briana Allures, s-a mutat în Hawaii, ca sa studieze dupa ce a fost rănită în dragoste. Acum își dorește o viață mai stabilă și să devina puternica si independenta, sa scape de personlitatea sorei ei mai mari si sa isi panseze inima ranita. Nu i-a in calcul o relatie cu profesorul chiar daca conexiunea lor începe printr-o tensiune intelectuală, dezbateri, diferențe de opinie. Atracție sexuala si pasională este exclusa de ambi protagonisti pentru ca amândoi evită angajamentele, fiecare avand motivele lui. Sven nu pote fii fidel unei singure femei iar Briana nu mai vrea sa aiba iar o inima de franta, dupa ce nici macar nu apucase sa si-o vindece. Chiar si asa Sven este atras de spiritul și curajul Brianăi, care nu se lasă intimidată de stilul lui provocator și de „lecțiile” sale filosofice. Între ei se va dezvolta o relație plină de dezbatere intelectuală, ironie și pasiune reprimată. Este putin plictisitoare in primele 55 de pagini, fiindca ni se explica modul de scriere a acestei serii si desigur si caracteristicile zodiei. O lectura

They both had a past to heal from
When they fell in love they fell hard. But the previous people they loved did a number on both of them. They both did not heal until they were open with each other. But their first meeting was anything but open. They had almost an instant dislike for each other but they could see the goodness in each other and how much alike they were with just enough differences to keep things interesting. They both had a sense of humor that kept me laughing. Sven's ragging on his brother Bay was hilarious, and Brianna's getting back at her sister Mia's boyfriend was one for the history books.
Tiana wrote a sweet easy read romance about two people over coming the tools they used to protecting their broken hearts to finally open up and take another chance on love and finally getting the reward of their HEA that they waited so long to get.
Oh, and one last thing. This book had so many good songs in it. I wish the author would have listed the link to a Spotify playlist with the songs from the book in the beginning of the book. It would have enhanced the reading mood to another level. All you authors, think about doing this next time you write a book with tons of songs in it!! Your readers will appreciate it!

I'm especially fond of Sagittarius - Mr. Philosophical because I'm the female version.

They were each other’s healer
This book is a clear reason why Ms Laveen’s book are #1 best seller. I enjoyed Mr Philosophical from the beginning to the end. Sven and Brianna were both brilliant people who were hurt from previous relationship. Their paths were crossed thanks to Brianna’s thought provoking essay. I must say I was able not to just enjoy this story but learn a great lot from it, Ms Laveen is simply brilliant as can be seen in this book.
Let’s not forget the bantering between Sven and Brianna lol,I was cracking up every time I read an argument between the two. It’s sad that this is the last book of the series but it’s okay, this has definitely made it to my reread list.
I hope everyone else enjoys this book as much as I have. Happy reading

A Very Good and Sensual Interracial Romantic Comedy
Sagittarius - Mr. Philosophical: The 12 Signs of Love (The Zodiac Lovers Series) is very good and sensual interracial romantic comedy that earned a rating of five stars. Professor Sven La Bland met Briana when she took his class. He fell in love with her when he read her entrance essay for his class. He had to woo her to get her to fall in love with him. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I found it to be hilarious as they made each other laugh. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading very good romantic comedies.

Well this is different
I have completely read all 12 books in the series. Most and I mean 11/12 were beautifully written. This is the only book in the series that I didn't finished. I skipped from 40% to the final chapter. Since this was the last book I was expecting more from the characters. There was a disconnection with the hero, he had no appeal. With that being the author produced a great body of work. Some were very memorable and charming. My review / stars only reflects this book but I 100% recommend the books in the series.

A great way to wrap up the Zodiac series!
Mr. Sagittarius was a great way to wrap up the Zodiac series. The book was thoughtful, biting, sexy, and a fun read. Sven and Briana were such a good match, mentally sparring with each other from the beginning, growing under each other’s skin and into each other’s minds and hearts. You won’t be disappointed with this read. The entire Zodiac series is exceptional. I know it sounds cliche, but Ms. Laveen has done it again!

Not her best work...
Lots of mistakes in this one. Plot contradictions. Sometimes seemed as if the author forgot what she had already written. Even calling the female lead Bianca at one point. Still a fan, just disappointed with this, especially being the final in the Zodiac series.

So freaking good!
Ms. Laveen is the queen of writing complex couples that compliment each other. They are written in such a way you can’t see where one begins and the other ends. Loved Sven and Brianna. Their love story was deep, sexy and grown. Full of feelings, spilling everywhere! Just loved this story, they way it unfolded, just the way Ms. Laveen writes period!

I don't know why this read got a few low stars but it gets five from me. I can truly capitalize on the banter and humor from Sven and Briana. They will have you bent over in laughter. My favorite part was Briana going after Mya's ex boyfriend. Priceless!

I love this couple!
I love this series! This is the best series I have read,ever! I love that each was a standalone book, and impressively one per month. You are officially now my favorite romance author. Move over Mallory Monroe. There is a harder Sister on the block!

This was the shortest of the 12 if I am not mistaken. It was nice and sweet, I made several predictions and assumptions in the story and none of them were true or came about.

I liked it!
This was a really good story, I actually liked a arguing couple. I especially liked a woman who gives as good as she gets from her man! Sven was strong willed, opinionated, educated, cocky and very direct. But, baby Briana gave it all back to him! I enjoyed this book

Ms. Laveen takes you on an amazing journey for a year. Now the MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION is where is Mya's story??? Will Bay get his own story? And yes Pepsi needs her own story as well. Ms Lavern has a knack for making me fall for her secondary characters.
