I was introduced to the poet by my friend last year. And I was hooked on to his Ibtadaia so much that on my usual visit to the book store, I wandered off to the poetry section, found this compilation, and bought without glancing at the contents. In retrospect, I should have had a look. The collection, though exhaustive, does not feature the dearest poem, and it's my disappointment that makes me lower the rating by a star. And more so because it just doesn't connect well with and most of the times I am seeking the meaning of the Hindi translations (which are provided in Urdu -> Hindi footnotes). I agree there's a market of Hindi speakers but one should also cater to a more contemporary reader who is waiting for the right set to guide them into the alluring world of ghazals and nazms.
