Dateless -- A stand-alone, single female POV, young adult contemporary romance, with a happily ever after.
How All-American high school graduate Kira falls for the hot Prime Minister’s son.
Kira likes words. Wythe likes math. And they both need something from each other. High School graduate Kira proposes a bargain. She’ll help Wythe with his literature project, if he’ll help with her British internship. Because she can’t fail. Not this time.
Number-loving Wythe is done with doing his duty. His Mother won the election. The campaign is over. All he wants is to ace his final Literature project and stay out of the spotlight. If the cute American intern thinks she’s budging him from his plan – she can take the first flight back home to Texas. So pretty . . . and she loves literature…He can work that to his advantage. He accepts her bargain...for the price of a kiss.
First person. Single female POV. Happily Ever After. No cliffhanger.
A snippet of Dateless:
I’m stuck. Yep, I’m standing in the British Prime Minister’s house with my shirt caught up over my head. Heart thumping, anxiety happening, bra showing… that’s me… and someone is coming. Solid steps. Not the light clicking of heels. It has to be a guy. He. Is. Here. I stare into his feral blue eyes. “Help me.” Half plea, half demand, my words are clear, but I jiggle my body in case he is slow to understand the situation. I’m standing here like a half-transitioned, shape-shifting unicorn, like in the novel I’m reading, begging him for help. It wasn’t the first bargain we’d strike this summer…

Emily Evans writes fun romance about people and places most of us will never know or see. That makes them interesting. I like getting to know these people and realizing that we all have more similarities than differences.
Happy to have won a feel good romance. Not my typical read, but I very much enjoyed the book. Lucky enough to have won book 2 in the series so I'm looking forward to enjoying a little more romance.
