I stare into his feral blue eyes.
“Help me.” Half plea, half demand, my words are clear, but I jiggle my body in case he is slow to understand the situation. I’m standing here like a half-transitioned, shape-shifting unicorn, like in the novel I’m reading, begging him for help.
It wasn’t the first bargain we’d strike this summer…

Emily Evans writes fun romance about people and places most of us will never know or see. That makes them interesting. I like getting to know these people and realizing that we all have more similarities than differences.

Happy to have won a feel good romance. Not my typical read, but I very much enjoyed the book. Lucky enough to have won book 2 in the series so I'm looking forward to enjoying a little more romance.
