Trevor spent his entire life looking up to his Dad. He wanted nothing more than to be like him in every single way. His Dad, Trent, on the other hand, wanted a better life for his son; one that involved college, having a career that didn’t put him in harm’s way and most importantly, a family that he didn’t have to leave. Trevor begrudgingly accepted that his dream of becoming a Navy Seal would have to wait until after college and decided to go to the United States Merchant Marine Academy. As a Midshipman, Trevor thrived in the regiment and military life but limped his way through the Academics. Upon completion of his first year, he was sent out on his first cadet cruise to gain experience in the real world on an actual commercial ship. One night, Trevor returned to his ship with several other crew members only to find that the Captain had been looking for him. He’s given life shattering news - the one person he looked up to most in the world is gone forever. Trevor is rushed all the way from Australia back to Boston for the funeral services. Caught up in the emotion, heartbreak, and pain, he tries to figure out how he’s going to go on living his life without his hero. Keith, his Dad’s closest friend, gives Trevor a flash drive containing his Dad’s very last words and warns him that his life is about to change. At this point, Trevor is about to learn that everything he ever knew about his Dad, the person he trusted most, is a lie. The only way to find the truth is to do the thing Trevor’s wanted all along. Only this time, following in his footsteps is a lot more dangerous that becoming a Navy Seal – he, along with the secret organization known as S.T.O.R.M. must protect the entire world from a deadly infection before it’s too late.
