Susy finds herself deep within CERN, isolated with no recollection of her past. Her dear cousin and only friend, leaves unexpectedly and bestows upon her a mysterious key-like jewel as a farewell gift. His sudden departure drives her to escape from the facility where she encounters the members of the Honorary Knight Order.

They have searched in every corner of Earth for Susy and the map that will lead them home. In the completion of their quest they face many obstacles and challenges as they realise that Susy has lost more of her powers and memory than they had previously anticipated.

The Earth, affected by Susy’s extended stay, continues to deteriorate as the members of the Order hunt for the missing power stones, lost since the time of Susy’s kidnapping. Whilst on their journey, Susy struggles to remember her true connection to them, as they try to infiltrate her senses. Love and secrets delay the completion of the mission and concerns grow that the balance of life will not be re-established in time.

Symmetry is what I like about fantasy fiction. It is imaginative, has lots of action and the characters are really colourful. This is apparently the start of a new series and if this first book is anything to go by I can see it becoming very popular.

I can't see it is wholly original as a theme, but it is really well written and held my attention all the way through with some unique twists that really stand out. I am hoping there will be another one very soon.

Symmetry was quite a quick read for me. I got so absorbed in it that time simply flew by. It is a an original mix of Science Fiction and fantasy which I thought was really clever. This is the start of a new series and if the first book is anything to go by I am very much looking forward to the rest.

Symmetry by T.M. Caruana is my kind of read. Fantasy is my favorite genre, and T.M. Caruana has written an awesome one. Immediately upon starting this book, I couldn’t set it down.

The characters are intelligently written. I love that they are introduced in an immediately action-packed adventure. There is no slowing down, this story doesn’t let up. The characters are intriguing and getting to know know while they are immersed in an adventure.

I absolutely love the world building. I was immersed into the world and it was a great escapist read. I cannot wait to read more. I highly recommend giving this one a read.

As I started reading this book I was instantly hooked. The initial chapters introduced the central characters in an interesting manner and the reader is quickly immersed into the action. The story soon exploded into a full-blown fantasy adventure which captivated my imagination through its vivid descriptive style. As the story developed I realised it was aimed more towards a female reader but by this stage I just had to keep reading and find out what would happen to the central character. I’m glad I did…

The story is intelligently written and scientific knowledge is interwoven in such a way that it has you wondering if the fictional scenario could actually be real life. What does Susy know about the end of the world? The fact that the narrative makes empathizing with the characters come naturally it proved to be an enjoyable read that I would happily recommend to others.

An epic fantasy that has it all. This will definitely become a best seller!

I am a big fanatic of fantasy books. When I started to read ‘Symmetry’ it immediately had me hooked as I connected with the characters and without a doubt I knew it was a book for me. The story line constantly keeps evolving in new twists and adventures and it also left room for me to use my own imagination. I really hope there will be a sequel to this story! I highly recommend it.

I continue to be blown away by T.M. Caruana’s phenomenal imagination. She creates and beautifully describes the whole gorgeous world. I appreciate that T.M. Caruana can balance her writing to give enough of a description of a place or thing while still leaving room for the reader to form their own images. *I received a complimentary copy from the Author and Truly Trendy PR in exchange for a review.*

Lots Going On But Well Done

This is an interesting blend of science fiction and fantasy. As is usually the case with speculative fiction, the author has created a complex world. Blessedly, the author has not made us suffer through information dumps at the beginning to explain the world. Instead, we are just thrown into the characters' lives and see how they unfold, learning about the world along the way. This book has the elements you want to see in a sci-fi fantasy: moving between worlds, interesting tech, old-fashioned and powerful stones, and clandestine orders. There's also a lot of story going on as well, including a rescue of the major character who has been locked away for nearly 30 years, soul mates, a love triangle, amnesia (with potentially devastating consequences), and—of course—saving planets. I did see a few errors in grammar and punctuation throughout. I did receive an ARC copy, but the published version that I saw at Amazon still had these issues. Despite this, I did enjoy this rich and complex tale.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

This story was not my normal read. I’m no expert when it comes to fantasy fiction, much less science fiction. This author appears to have combined both into an imaginative tale of young Susy who spent too much time on earth. Her stay not only affected the earth but her powers & memory as well. The author did a solid job of setting up this series, the overall plot and introducing the characters to us. It doesn’t take long for the story to pick up in action so you’ll need to pay attention. Suzy is struggling as are the Knights once it is realized she’s lost more than originally thought. An Oracle’s prediction sets the tone midway through the book. This book also contains a love story. Nina’s outcome was heartbreaking and like the rest of the book well-written. I wonder what is next in the series.

I'm always skeptical when reading fantasy fiction books - it's just the fact, that there are such masterpieces in the genre, that it's difficult to live up to the expectations they set. But Symmetry really did surprise me! It's not, that the story is something unheard of, but the way it's told - that's the thing that got me hooked. The author really did a great job introducing Susy and her adventures, so hats down to you Mrs. Caruana. You earned yourself a new fan!

Symmetry's fictional universe brings in, and in a way ties up, all the theories and legends of life. It brings together religion, mythology and science, even classic literature, to form a fictional explanation of the creation of life and everything that happens afterwards.

This story was an abnormal book for me to read but full of imagination. I love books on extraterrestrials. Susy has been kidnaped from her home and kept on earth to use for her powers. After a long time, she escape the lab where she is used like a experimental rat and the Order finds her. They seek ways to escape back to their world. The love story added a surprise twist to it and made it seem more human. Love the book and can't wait for the next one.

If you need your plot handed to you, you won’t like this book. But, if you are the type of person who is willing to go along for the ride and let the book take you where it wills, then this book will give you so many gifts in return. Make sure you are ready for an adventure. *I received a complimentary copy from the Author and Truly Trendy PR in exchange for a review.*

I loved this read, enough action and fantasy to keep me turning pages and finishing within hours of starting it. A well crafted plot with a great alternative world and characters were easy to become interested in. I would enjoy reading more in the world.

This was a first for me in the fantasy genre. The story was well written and character development done well. It wraps into one good book everything you would expect from a fantasy story. Get ready to experience a story that can take you away from daily life. Worth the read.

This was a real fantasy but some of the things made sense. Susy has been trapped in CERN for years and the first chance she gets she escapes but she has no memory of who she is and she only has a few people who would tell her. There is a real lot of adventure and danger at every turn but you keep routing for Susy to remember and every bit she does gets you closer to finding out who she is. Once you get all f the characters straight it’s a very entertaining story.

This was a fun fantasy book. From the beginning I was invested in finding out what would happen to Susy. She had been held captive as a test subject and has finally escaped. Unfortunately she has no memory of who she is. She is reconnected with many characters that have known her from the past. She does not remember them at all, but has to choose who she can trust to help her. Who is a friend, who is an enemy?
