I wasn’t good at making decisions.

Just Say Yes was a pretty good read but, for me, it was very unrealistic. And, maybe that's just because I don't get or understand the Polyamory lifestyle. I would've preferred this HEA with Sade choosing between Jerik and Garlan. And, just so we're clear, I'm team Jerik. I prefer my romance novels to focus on one on one love. I just couldn't get with the Polyamory lifestyle. Clearly, I'm way too vanilla for this. But, that's just my personal preference. Aside from that, the book was really good. Just Say Yes was good and steamy. Jerik and Garlan were giving tons of BDE throughout the book. I've said this about a lot of books but, Just Say Yes is definitely for the grown and sexy only!

I enjoyed everything about this book. The storyline paints a vivid picture of a forbidden fantasy for women that most people would consider to be a taboo in today's society BUT Sade didn't care what others thought as long as she got what she wanted, when and how. This book was hot, sexy and steamy from the beginning until the end. Baaabyyyy Sade couldn't eat just one. Good read and I definitely recommend this book

As I read this book... I thought about the reality of this situation. Sade has every girls fantasy as her reality. We all know how fine ass friends hang together and sometimes we what the friend too but is too scared or embarrassed to admit it. The reason I really like this book is because there were no boundaries and no stone unturned. I loved that both Garlen and Jerik brought there own thing to the table. They are different but equally boss'. Keep doing your thing Brix!!! I am definitely a new fan!!!

JUST SAY YES was super hot and set my Kindle on fire! This is a quick and dirty (in all the best ways) novella with low angst and really enjoyable characters. I loved Sade for going after what she wanted and getting over her cheating ex in the best way possible. Both Jerik and Garlen were also great though I felt they were a bit underdeveloped compared to Sade. But their appreciation and devotion to Sade was great, they pretty much worship her through the whole book. All together they were on fire and even though Sade realizes she mostly wants to date them separately they still keep communication open and make sure everyone is on board with the plan.
The more serious feelings felt a little rushed in the end but its more because we're told that Sade, Jerik, and Garlen are spending time together outside the bedroom but we never really see it. But it's hard to be upset about that when the chemistry is so hot. Lol. Because it's a novella things end in more of a "happy for now" place but that's fitting for the story and the amount of time the three have been together.
The only thing that bothered me was that both of the first sexual interactions between the characters occurred in their professional lives as part of business transactions and I felt they blurred the lines a bit. Sade first reconnects with Garlen when he's her new masseur and even though he initially insists nothing can happen during the appointment because he could lose his job he doesn't hold out very long. Then when Sade goes to speak with Jerik about some damaged furniture that his moving company is responsible for, Sade turns down his offer to pay for damages and asks for a threesome instead (though Jerik does end up paying her anyway to keep business and pleasure separate). Both of these instances didn't really sit well with me but that's more personal opinion so take it as you will.

I’ve been looking for a book like this for the longest and fuuuuuuuck, Brix did not disappoint. She executed this storyline so mufuckin’ well, I read it again the next day. There’s a lot one could say about this novel- obviously the most obvious two unique things about this book is the high heat AND the polyamory rep. For me, I think this is best approached as erotica or erotic romance light on the romance. The premise is that after finding out that her boyfriend, has been cheating on her, Sade has had it with him and is moving on. In the process of moving out, she runs into her high school crushes, best friends Jerik and Garlen, and still attracted to both, decides to shoot her shot at the two friends.
The thing is that in fairness, I don’t necessarily tend to drift towards polyamorous romance, but I also think it can be executed well. This was clearly a high heat, incredibly spicy novella and I think if that’s the mood/vibe you’re going for, this will definitely be your jam and this is a great hot quick read. But if you’re looking for romance and emotion, perhaps this is not exactly strong in that aspect. You don’t get the sense that there is much more than sex between the friends and that’s fine, not every book has to be super romantic. For me, the heat was 5-star, the emotion was 1-star especially to give some of the emotional context I think goes well with a relationship that many people often regard as mostly sexual. This book needs to be longer. Sade knew what she wanted and went after it. I don’t wanna spoil it, but she makes a decision after her cheating boyfriend decides to go have a baby with someone else. She finds her strength and makes decisions that involve both of her high school crushes. I really wish we could develop more with the situation with the ex-boyfriend and and how the three mc’s build on their attraction. Five out of five highly recommend.

This is my first read by this author that came highly recommended. I knew I was in for a ride with this and the author delivered flawlessly. Sometimes I wonder what is erotica because some writers claim it and it reads like a romantic story. This here....yeah...it definitely falls in the genre of erotica and I was all for it! So good!
