This was a lovely series bundle, though the first book took me a bit to get into. Once into the story I couldn’t put it down. Other than knowing each of the mysteries and dangers would work out, each was a nice surprise with how. It was well written though had some mis-words (spell-check replaces a word with the incorrect one and/or needing one more proof-reader? They distracted me but there also weren’t enough for it to be a serious problem with enjoying my reading. I did thoroughly enjoy all the stories and glad they were a bundle.
This is a wonderful series and the perfect way to read it as you can immediately go to the next book. Meet Christie who comes to River's End after her grandmother dies, helps reunite a couple her grandmother separated 50 years before, as Christie meets her own love. Then on to her ex-fiance determined to turn the area into a high priced development and make Christie his again. On to a strange guy who thinks he is entitled to an old mansion, no matter who is hurt in the process. Lastly to a great conclusion.
A charming Australian town with all kinds of mysteries and characters to lose yourself inside for hours. I never wanted River's End stories to come to an end. Thank you
I absolutely loved this series! The characters are well liked, although there are some villains too! The stories take place in the present but jump back to 1967 and back to the 1850's. I didn't want the series to end but am looking forward to reading the extended stories of Charlotte and Daphne. I highly recommend this series! You won't be disappointed!
Every single story is such a great escape and so well written you won't want them to end. I'd already read one of the books contained within this set, but that didn't put me off at all. Indeed, reading them in sequence, one after the other, was a delight and something I was happy to do. It sure payed off, too. The characters and the setting of Rivers End came alive. You care about each and ever character and as each story ends you'll be smiling and longing for more. Luckily, with four novels and one novella all wrapped up into one set, you get the chance of devouring, like I did, each and every story. Absolutely highly recommended.
Loved these books, had some late nights because they were hard to put down. Randall was the star of the series. Did begin to feel a bit irritated with all the fuss over "the trunk". It resolved itself.
