Over the course of 7 books, plenty of mysteries have been hinted at and I was definitely intrigued about the history of the world. This book provides even more hints and it feels like we've crossed the threshold from building up a sense of mystery to finally resolving those mysteries. Not to mention, certain things that were building up in the background were finally addressed in this book. Exciting stuff. And even now, after 8 books are over, the author still manages to peak my curiosity by laying the foundations for more mysteries and adventure that will hopefully come in the next book.

Also, just have to include the fact that I hate male writers??? Because why are all the descriptions of women hella weird??? I’ve tolerated it for the past 9,000+ pages but I’ve another 9,000+ more to go and it’s already driving me insaneeee
