Would you travel to the past to right a wrong? Solve a cold case? Perhaps, catch a killer? Meet one of the five witches who will.
Animal mauling or were attack? Time witch Nuala Walsh is on the case.
Ex-communicated from her coven at a young age, Nuala uses her powerful magic to solve cold-cases for the Agency of Paranormal Peculiarities. Only the cases become less cold and fresher as each assignment sends her back in time to work out the clues the mortal investigators can’t dig up on their own. Each assignment comes with a strict set of rules and a time limit and Nuala enjoys leaving her present drama behind to bust criminals in the past. But Nuala has one rule of her own—no kids. When she receives a case from 1985 involving an all-girls reform school, her only instinct is to say no. Teenage girls are the worst kind of drain on her magic. But the file reveals a familiar name she hasn’t heard in years and suddenly the murder of the school’s headmistress becomes less off limits and more of a personal quest.
Can Nuala keep her 100% case closure rate without losing her head -- literally?
Each book stands completely on its own, but you'll have more fun if you read them all together!
Another great read about Nula. A plot that has time travel, a reform girl's school and murder. Okay it doesn't take too long to work out the culprit but it's still a great read. Null had always felt unable to relate to her adoptive parents but the only thing she had a one photograph of the girl that had died giving birth to her. She didn't even know her parents first name. She had always refused to take on cases that involved children but this case refused to go away and when she looked closely there was a photograph with her mother in it. A reform girl's school were the headmistress had been murdered but never solved. Finding herself at the school she finds her mother (the head mean girl) but not an inkling of magic. The case has left the school broken as to whether they should cry or cheer. The victim had be a bully and had been having an affair with the richest man in town (and her father's stepfather). Throw in poppets, runes, a grave, an attempted murder and finding more witches. Will she be able to solve the crime? Why didn't the police do a better job? How hard will it be not to let her parents and grandparents know about who she is?
Nuala (pronounced Noo-la) loves solving cold case murders from the past involving the paranormal. But she doesn’t do large groups of teens. All that teenage angst can quickly become to much to handle for someone with powers of empath. There is a good reason though, that the Agency sends her. So, off to 1985 we go!!!
I loved Nuala. I could really relate to her. I also loved Lily Rose, Nuala’s familiar who can shift into an old lady. Not a sweet old lady! But a funny one, who is honest and direct, bordering on rude. Nuala finds it hard to focus on the case, with that other, personal thing going on.
This was a fantastic book! Wow! I loved every second of it. A clever case; I didn’t know whodunit until the very end. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves quirky paranormal cozies!
This book was the first I have read by this author and I LOVE her writing. It's fresh and fun to read. When you have a time-travelling witch who owns the Agency of Paranormal Peculiarities going into the past with her familiar to solve cold cases, you just know you're going to have a great read. Well-written characters and a good storyline make this a must-read.

I love Right Witch At the Right Time. The book is well written and detailed. Nuala is a great character and such an interesting witch. It was interesting how she used her powers and magic. I like how she met her family when she went back in time. I liked the setting of the girls school and it is such a great plot. The mystery was interesting and I was kept guessing right until the end. I just loved the ending! I highly recommend this book.
Lost Souls ParaAgency and the Illusion of a Vampire #3 – This is my first read by this author and I loved it. I did not know this was a series, there were a few mentions of the past, but it did not take away from this book – a standalone for sure. The storylines are interesting with plenty of humor. The characters, even the baddies, are interesting and believable. None of them acted stupid and some even had intelligence.
There is an event mentioned but not delved into so it is a nice surprise to find the details after the story ended. Looks like there will be another character added to the gang in the next book. I had so much fun reading this book that it finished too soon with the steadily moving pace. The mystery is a good one, better than the usual cozy. There is an overview, which I appreciate knowing about a book before I read it. I found this book on Booksprout. 4*
Right Witch Wrong Time #5 – While I was reading Mourning Express, this book popped up on Booksprout. Again, being clueless about this series and having enjoyed the last two books I read, I thought, why not. This book is different from the other two concerning the low level of humor because of the serious mood in the storylines. The storylines are interesting, but time travel to the 80s wasn’t my cup of time, I didn’t like the 80s. The mysteries the investigator worked on were interesting, a daughter discovering her mother who died at childbirth. Still a good book to read, just not for me. 4*
Mourning Express #3 – After reading Lost Souls #3, I discovered this book in my library. I had read Sam Cheever’s addition to the Funeral Fakers, loved it, and thought why not read this one, too. Well written with interesting storylines, even though it is sad about Grammy, there was plenty of humor, some out loud bursts. The characters are well written and entertaining, with plenty of good dialog. Rosie actually has a bit of IQ about her. The mystery was not bad, with the usual redirects. 4*
This is the first book that I’ve read by this author, and I am so glad to have discovered her! I absolutely adore paranormal cozy mysteries, and this one hit all the right notes. I love Nuala as the smart and sassy time-traveling paranormal investigator. With this particular case, she is handling something she doesn't normally like in her investigations—anything involving children—but in this case, she actually goes back to a girls’ academy in 1985 and meets her birth mother. I love the 80s aspect of this story, as I graduated high school myself in 1985. Nuala’s thoughts and actions rang true for her character, and the author did an excellent job of pulling me right into the story with well-written narrative and dialogue and engaging characters. I loved the sometimes-cat, sometimes-old lady familiar, Lily Rose; she the perfect grumbling old lady. I liked Nuala’s sweet and helpful boyfriend. In all, this was a delightfully well-written paranormal cozy mystery, and I am glad this series is available on Kindle Unlimited so I can dip into the author's backlist.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Nuala has a new client to her Butterfly and Bee Gym Lakeland, Florida. Her boyfriend, She has a shifter familiar and is a time traveling witch. She is a member of the murder of the month club that gives her a chance to use her time travel to solve cold case. The next case is the death of the headmistress at Miss Crackles School for Girls. And so the adventure begins.
This is the fifth instalment of the paranormal cozy mystery series, A Witch in Time Series. Although this was the first book in the series I have read I felt it was good as a stand-alone and it won’t be the last one I read. The characters were great and the mystery was good. I read the book in one sitting as I wanted to see how it ended. The storyline was easy to read and fought with twist, turns and surprises that keep you interested. The narrative was well written, depicting the time the story took place very well. It is a very creative cozy paranormal mystery series.

This is a standalone story, and (as far as I understand) the first one with Nuala as heroine. I didn't feel like I missed anything reading this book as first in this serie - so go ahead! :) The story is well written, funny and with some very interesting characters (loved the "cat/Nuala's familiar", pity she could come along in the adventure). Even though the mistery is lived and solved in the past, there are enough plot in the present to keep us hooked. The ending sure helps in that! What I really loved was the idea of finding a bit about your own past while solving a murder and trying not to mess thing up in the timelines. We are given enough clues to figure the murder a bit before the revelation, so it's my kind of mystery. I wonder about what the other stories will be like because I really liked this idea of a paranormal agency working in the past, solving cold cases. Totally original as far as I'm concerned.
This was the 1st book I’ve read from this author and I was blown away. I was totally hooked and absolutely loved it. Love Nuala. She is smart and sharp. Uses a lot of common sense. She is able to learn about her biological without messing with the timeline. I love her familiar, Lily Rose, who is a great sidekick and gets right to the point. And Nuala’s human boyfriend, Seth, is awesome, because he helps with her cases without knowing that there is paranormal involved. The idea of the “subscription cold case of the month club” is a fantastic cover and I love how he gets excited about helping. Very clever. The mystery had me guessing almost to the end. Lots of suspects. Great ending. Can’t wait to read more about Nuala.
If you’ve read all 5 A Witch in Time books, don’t forget to unlock the Bonus Content. Great addition to bring the series together.
This is such a fun series. I really enjoyed this book - it is about the Agency of Paranormal Peculiarities that sends time traveling witches back in time to solve cold cases that have never been solved. They have 7 days! This book was so fun I was hooked on the series! I have read 5 so far and they are seamless! This one takes place in 1985 with Nuala. She meets her family she never knew. Is someone in her family responsible? I hope this series continues!
This book was probably a tie for my favorite of the five books thus far! It was such a fun read I couldn’t put it down. It also wasn’t totally predictable but ended in a very satisfying manner. It also left room for a (hopeful!!) sequel which is much anticipated by me. The author was so fun to read I will definitely check out her other works! I definitely recommend this book and it works as a stand alone, too ;)
Nula is a given a very complicated assignment. As she attempts to gather evidence to solve the case, she is faced with another mystery that she's had her whole life. This book was very intriguing and it dared me to continue until the very end. The writing was flawless as this book in the series is written by a different author.

Right Witch Wrong Time: A Witch in Time Mystery by K.M. Waller is an awesome story that I have read. This is book number five in this awesome series that I have loved reading cause I love mysteries. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about cozy mysteries in their stories as much as I do.

Funny and endearing. Nuala is very different from the previous witches we’ve read about. Not that she doesn’t time travel to solve cold cases, but that she actually goes through the entire file before she travels. AND she has her ex-police detectives help. Her familiar, Lily Rose, is grouchy and sarcastic and I loved the little bit we got to see of her. Also a little twist at the end of this one. Can’t wait to see what happens!
I really enjoyed reading Nuala's book in the series even though I was screaming at her in my head who the killer was for half the book. I didn't see the two twists at the end of the book coming. Make sure you read all 5 books in the series to claim the bonus content from the scavenger hunt.
What do you do when you're sent back in time to solve a murder that your present self is connected to? You do your hardest to keep your emotions out of the equation. Solving these murders will change lives, bit not the one you want it to. Great addition to the series, and I look forward to reading more about Nuala.
A time-traveling witch with a snarky familiar works for an agency that sends its agents back in time to solve cold case murders, it's what she does but this time it's personal. Really good storyline not at all what I expected, lots of action and humor and it doesn't overdo the magic with lots of twists and turns I keep you turning pages. Recommended read, Baz.
First in a new series combining two of my favorite paranormal aspects, time travel and witch magic. Excellent read. Exciting well written mystery with accurate depiction of the 80's era. Highly Recommended!
A Clean read that was extremely disappointing. Great story, characters, and various issues. However, to introduce such deep issues, then just blow them off was difficult to handle as a reader. This was an extra light cozy that left me empty & sad.
I absolutely loved reading this book! In the crowded genre that is witchy cozy mystery, this one stands out courtesy of cold cases, time travel, and the imaginative manner in which those are handled. Well-written and with fun characters, this complex mystery makes for a page-turner of a book.
