As Anarchy sweeps the USA, the backdrop of the Yale secret society “The Order of the Skull and Bones along with the unbelievable drive for power and money, that has divided old friends of “Skull and Bones” is explained. Strange bedfellows shall come out of this drive for power. Old friends from Yale and old enemies from afar will conspire to bring down George Trowbridge, while Trowbridge works to bring down the Schwartz power structure. Even as Gyorgy Schwartz sits in a cell, his son begins to plot his revenge on George Trowbridge.
As this plays out The Haven begins to prepare for what they believe will be a doomsday scenario. People fleeing the chaos and devastation that is burning the cities of America to the ground attempt to enter Haven. This must be dealt with even as more sinister people come to observer Haven from afar and one person in particular. All because two old enemies have now joined forces to bring down the Trowbridge empire for revenge and power.
The forces controlled by the Schwartz family have been instrumental in bringing chaos and death to the innocent people of the major cities in America, but now their marching orders have changed. They are now to attack Haven with the intent of killing or capturing one specific person. As this assault begins the action becomes non-stop and the reader will hold his breath with every new action and every shot will bring heroes and villains closer to death.
The last few pages will astound you and leave you screaming in frustration as innocents are drug into this war for revenge and power. I have called Bobby Akart the King of TEOTWAWKI many times in reviewing his books, but this time I must call him the King of the CLIFFHANGERS as well. As I read the last page I knew the wait for the next book in this series would seem to take forever and leave me guessing and worrying whether an innocent life would be lost, until it hits the book shelves.
I have never read any of Bobby’s books that I didn’t love each and every one but I truly believe he has out done himself with the Doomsday series and Minutemen is the best so far. The story follows today’s headlines and characters that are defiantly impacting our everyday life. I am waiting with bated breath for the next chapter to become available in the Doomsday series. GODSPEED PATRIOT!!!!!

Hold on to your hat because the shtf and Bobby Akart just took things up a notch, if that is even possible after the last book! Things all over the United States are in chaos. People trying to survive are being attacked by other citizens for no other purpose but to cause anarchy. Two of the main players, Trowbridge and Schwartz are relatively out of the picture due to one being in jail and the other on death's bed, but their plan for civil unrest which is in full force is still being carried out. Two men who hate Trowbridge have joined forces and are planning the ultimate attack to get back at him. Once his trusted sidekick, Hanson Briscoe who is literally running for his life and Jonathan Schwartz who is also running but from the law, meet up along the way and find that it is better to join forces than to fight against each other. They will stop at nothing to exact revenge on Trowbridge for the wrong doings they feel have been lodged against them by him, even though they brought this on themselves…
This is one of the best series I have read that is so realistic with shades of what is happening in our country today. Political parties against one another instead of making this country great together. Families and friends arguing with each other about which side is right and who is wrong. The fighting is escalating every day and will hopefully end peacefully instead of how things are going in this series. Only time will tell if once again Bobby Akart has foreseen the future and wrote tomorrow’s headlines…today.

Minutemen
Are the people of Haven ready to be Minutemen? Can you prepare enough, train enough, cover every scenario? Are you ready to go at a moment's notice? This story pushes their limits. Everyone's stress and emotions are at a all time high. That's what makes this book hard to put down. All of the factions are coming to a head. Battles have been lost and won. Looking forward to the next book to give me the answers I keep asking. Definitely a must read.

Another Grand Slam for Mr Akart
There is no other author who can write a novel and/or a blueprint
for where our country may be ungracefully heading.
Not only a terrific and realistic read but a very scary one also.
The characters are superb. We all may need a Haven one day. Hopefully our elected officials can or have learned a lesson and have the forethought to put our country first before their own agendas. I for one sincerely doubt this.
Develop your plans,stock up on your emergency supplies. Our next civil war may already be in the making.
Thank you Bobby for another great series to make some of us to wake up and see the weeds among the orchids.

What a book!! I was watching recap of Purdue in Sweet 16 in a tight game, going to overtime while reading my Minutemen during commercial - - - next thing I know I hear hubs saying PURDUE WON! I missed it all because I was so ENTHRALLED in the last chapters. A GREAT read - Best one yet ( I say that every time I read a new Bobby Akart book) but so TRUE! He knows how to mix conflict, hope, courage and realism into his stories to the point you feel this is real, happening NOW!! And that ending WOW!! Very well done, Bobby Akart.

Complicated
This story has lots of characters to keep track of. There is also pages and pages of political intrigue to follow. I don’t like politicians and indeed they are the bad guys here. When not going on and on about politics the story is fascinating and the characters so likable. The ordinary people are worth following. One thing I really appreciate is a brief synopsis of the previous books. I wish all writers of a series did that.

This series is one of Bobbys best!
This genres is flooded, but Bobby has found a way to keep it fresh! I've fallen in love with the characters in this series, including the dogs😇. I read straight thru in 2 days all the books, & now have to wait an entire month for the final book, which will tie up the entire series. I'd love to see this series on tv! What a great series to produce a compelling drama! READ THIS SERIES! One of his best yet!

"Another Fast-Action Remarkable Novel"
This, again, is an amazing story concerning the pre-days of a new Civil War here in America. It's been well researched and Bobby Akart has developed great novels which also include facts as well as future possibilities for our nation. It's a must-read story by everyone to understand the great strength our country has in it's background. If only we had this same strength today. Highly recommended.

Interesting
The author has presented the scum of the earth and I don’t mean the homeless poor souls. The scums got mega bucks and buy and politicians for their gain the wrap themselves in the flag and call themselves patriot. They pit one side against the other like a sports event. Meanwhile real people try to live their lives raising a family and playing by the rules.
Swartz and Trowbridge and cohorts are the scum.

MinuteMen
I give this book 5 stars because I believe it was very interesting giving what is going on in the county. I feel a reset is coming in the future. There will be some that ready and those who are not. Waiting for next book. Being 6 chapters already read think Bobby Akart will have a 6th book to finish the story. All of this series has been great to read.

A thoroughly enjoyable saga continues. Ready for the next installment. Hopefully not the last. Intriguing characters and a plethora of all too current events that should open a lot of people 's eyes 👀 and provoke serious thoughts about the path this country is on.

A series so realistic, with facets of what is currently going on in the world today. Book four will keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more. Bobby Akart has a way of bringing current events into his post apocalyptic worlds to create a realistic view of how the world would be if the event did happen. This is why you should always be prepared!

In this fourth book of the series the tension and action ramps up as a civil war looms in the future. The Haven is now under attack from people with hate in their hearts. Battle lines have now been drawn between good and evil, which side will prevail and at what cost. Ready to read the next book when it is released in the near future.

Great Read
The story continues and holds you in suspense. Ignore the right wing rhetoric and enjoy the ride. One beef, this book is well into the series so why the need for 10% of it to be a summary of what went before and 10% of it to be the first five chapters of the next book. That’s a fifth of the book wasted. Daft if you ask me.

Full of adventure and advice!
One thing I have always enjoyed about Bobby Akart is that his books, while extremely entertaining, are also informative about what to do in case of a doomsday scenario. In this book, civil war has started spurred on by the puppet masters. It's masterfully written and I definitely recommend this book!

I am giving this book a five star 🌟 rating, it is an excellent read. It has made me laugh, cry and at times 😠! I really need the next book to see what is going to happen next, and what is going to happen to X-Ray. I hope that he can help and find forgiveness.

Good book
Very good and interesting. My only complaint is the same old thing about how tough someone is (Blair) then wimps out when it comes time to kill a guy who just killed a kid. Wondering how is is going to conclude.

The further continuation of the Doomsday series. I read every chance I got, even getting up early to be able to read more in this series. It's about terrorist attacks and a place where certain people go to get out of the madness. The twists and turns make this book very suspenseful.
