About the author

An internationally known author, astrologer, psychic, healer, broadcaster and workshop leader, Judy Hall has been a karmic counsellor for over thirty years.

Her books have been translated into fifteen languages. Her specialities are past life readings and regression; reincarnation, astrology, psychology and natural forms of healing.

She has clients from all walks of life: the House of Lords, the European Parliament, pop singers, university professors, scientists and mystics, and people on social security.

She has conducted workshops around the world. A trained healer and counsellor, she has been psychic all her life and has a wide experience of many systems of divination and natural healing methods.

Judy has a B.Ed. in Religious Studies and an extensive knowledge of world religions and mythology. Her mentor was Christine Hartley (Dion Fortune's metaphysical colleague and literary agent). She completed her Masters Degree in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at Bath Spa University.

I love how the author guides us through different stones and how they would work for us based on our sun, moon, and rising sign needs. I didn’t feel like the rising sign section was too accurate, though, but I do think that the explanations of stones and how they relate specifically was something very cool and much more intricate than how other writers tend to explain it. I would definitely recommend this book.

Another reason as to why I gave it a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 is that I’m not sure how much use a person can get out of the sections of the book that don’t pertain to them. I am going to try to get more out of those sections, but the book seems to be intended for a more personalized experienced, which means that only 3 out of 36 sections pertain to a reader. But this could be a pro as well as a con.

I absolutely love this book!!! I use this book to do Astrology reading for my friends, family, and myself. I use a total of 5 books to do a full breakdown of ones individual sign based on their birthday and where the stars were given at their exact time of birth. I love that it contains not only the sun signs, but the moon signs, and Cardinal signs. It also gives you all the crystals that are based on your signs. This is a book I will use and reference for the rest of my life. Excellent book.

This covers Sun, Ascending and Moon signs. So about 10 pgs for each person you are looking up. I bought this for the crystal suggestions but the astrological attributes detailed are also very spot on. My daughter is a Pisces and she likes the idea of a crystal that will help her when she's dealing with strong emotions.
Ideally, you could get this from the library and take notes. I'm currently living in the Bible Belt so it wasn't available near me but I don't regret my purchase.

Good information about crystals

The author takes the reader through the various Zodiac signs and crystals the user can use with each. In this book the author gives the reader in-depth knowledge about the Zodiac and crystals.

Just. Wow. This book is so well written. I have always been really curious about all the different crystals and the differences between them. Not only did it go over these crystals but it also went over different rituals, cautions if they are potentially water soluble crystals, which I never even thought of , etc. I was especially captivated by my horoscope section which I felt really spoke to me and also gave me some insight that I was not 100% aware of even though I have been trying to get more into it. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
