I remember reading this in grade school and it's still a great introduction to romance. Well written with a memorable story and characters

Fun.
Sloan and Melanie are opposites on the work-floor, and the competition there has made them if not arch enemies, at the least heavy adversaries. When Sloan is sick Melanie helps him with his niece however, and a feverish dream makes Sloan see what's beneath Melanie's icy work behaviour.
Thus ensues Sloans seduction of the inner Melanie, and it's quite sweet and sensual. The side-characters are a lot of fun as well. All in all one of the better workfloor romances I've read, although I do feel that Melanie changed a bit too much.
