Sit back and relax as Synova regales you with tales of master art thieves, bumbling criminals, and multi-million-dollar art heists from around the world. There will be stories of mafia-commissioned heists, of Daredevil art thieves, and of the brave men and women of the FBI Art team who are trying to stop this multi-billion-dollar industry of art crime. Enjoy.
This book is the first in Synova’s Case Files series. Every year Synova takes the top cases previously highlighted on her blog and compiles them into a case files book. 2017 Synova was researching the FBI’s Top Ten Art Crimes and following the cases of the FBI Art Crime Team.

Why I'm interested in this book at the first place My first book to start on art-related. I think I've drawn to these kind of art (among other sub"chapter") - (in)famous art heists.
What do I think of this book... now that I've done reading it It's a book of straight up facts on art heists that happened in the world, at least three decades back(?)
+ 1. Cantrell provides insights on the backgound of the painting, the heists and the aftermath in a straight to the point.
- 1. I do understand that one of the limitation of this book is to reproduced the images of the paintings (copyrights and all; she did mentioned it). I think if one is interested to look further more, then googling up is the answer.
Get this 1. If you love art and true crimes, especially amp up general knowledge and a very interesting topic conversation. 2. If you want a quick read, in one sitting.
