One winter’s night the writer renounced his American dream of building a life in New York City to follow an enigmatic inner voice and embrace an unknown path, which goes on to occasion a life-changing journey in Peru, South America. He experiences the remarkable healing properties of shamanic ceremonies in the Amazon Jungle, the sublime energy of the ancient Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu and the Andes Mountains, the openness of Peruvian villagers and their commendable life-styles in harmony with nature, and friendship of many individuals who ‘coincidentally’ enter his life at the most appropriate moments to help him integrate the vital changes taking place in his being. Part autobiographical, part travelogue, part philosophical musing and part poetry, wrapped up in language both sensitive to the writer’s predicament and lyrically appreciative of the natural world, this book addresses the ethos of the world’s current dominant civilizations. It also affirms for many seekers in the world, that it is possible to discover their true path in life and create their own reality based on their version of the absolute truth, which ultimately rests in all of us. About the Born in Gwalior, a historical town in India, Kartikeya Ladha grew up immersed in the palette of India’s vibrant customs and family life whilst being educated in a rigid school system at The Scindia School, a relic from the days of the British Raj. After completing his High School, Kartikeya left India to attend the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in Boston, where he concentrated in Management and Entrepreneurship. Soon after graduation he moved to Brooklyn, New York and worked for a start-up solar company as a door-to-door salesman and soon became a team leader. It was one of the most successful community solarization programs in the U.S and Kartikeya fearlessly knocked doors in Brownsville, tagged as “Brooklyn’s Most Dangerous Neighborhood” by TIME magazine in 2012. He educated hundreds of households about climate change and motivated them to take positive action for the environment by embracing renewable energy. Kartikeya quickly became the company’s highest earner and enjoyed all the delights of fast city-living – until an inner voice surfaced out of the darkness and compelled him to renounce his long-held plans of building a life in America and go “seek the truth” behind human existence. His quest in wake for the absolute truth led him to walk on an unknown path, and inspired him to travel around the world to faraway lands while breaking past the normal equations of life to unearth his calling from our mystical world. In this process, he also initiated an endless stream of rediscovering himself as a human being, while trying to serve upon his life’s heart felt mission. This is his first book, which captures the narrative tales of his many insightful stories, based on the experiences he gained from a trailblazing expedition to Peru, South America.

"We're not afraid of dying, we are afraid of living."
The thoughts of abandoning everything at once and just live life the way we want to, travelling and searching for the meaning of life, absorbing all the beauties the world has to offer, must have come to your mind at some point of life. While we find ourselves in a difficult place, the thought of escaping our daily bland life of same-old draining activities make us want to take a much-needed break for a taste adventure in life. Sometimes even if everything seems to go just right in life, a sudden realization can awaken our curiosity to know what more are we made of and the conscience urges us just to grab the ropes just once and take a leap of faith. This book is an awe-inspiring set of part autobiographical, part travelogue, part philosophical musing and part poetry, all folded in one smooth way telling the real experience of the author’s journey in search of a meaning. The story is a true replica of the author’s mind and stories he encountered. The book is divided into three such parts: the complete surrender, the Ayahuasca Journey and the drifting mode, each having its own greater part in author’s quest. There is a sense of thrill mixed with wonder at how beautifully the author had penned down such lucid details of the real views and the way that had an impact on him.
"If we are persistent and consistent with our actions, they will drive results. The key is to take action that derive from positive intentions for yourself and others, as they generate more meaning."
Between managing his new-found interest in the excitement in discovering and learning more from field sales team to becoming a successful person in his company, the author had always been a curious being and a dreamer when the sudden awareness of something huge missing in his life puts him at an unease and he began to wonder of the possibilities of what could it be that his inner mind is hinting him on. And while trying to find an answer the author decides it is time for him to quit his job and take a chance following his inner mind and so starts the author’s journey to Peru in South America. But the journey of a wonderer has no end, and in life searching for a purpose is never easy even the decision of taking action itself is harder than anything. The author’s journey to the depth of Peru and the story written by him on the many earnest, deep and soul-searching events that take place during them are liberating. It makes you wonder more about your own dreams and goals in life, about what you wish for and want to be and provokes you to let go of all the burdens of other people's expectations and thoughts over your own true identify. This journey had various meanings and outcomes that the author was successfully able to color in absolute perfection and reading his own journey makes you want to leave everything at this moment and travel to witness the actual sight, that I also want to experience after seeing a glimpse through the author’s mind. This is the journey of a dreamer who dared to risk a life full of promised wealth and success in a society where people seem to be content enough to following the herd blindly; in search of his inner voice that challenged him to take a different path only a few could travel through.
Ratings: Knowing this is my very first time reading something like this that is completely out of my preference I enjoyed this book so much which even surprised me, the captivating journey of the author inspired me and reading from his real-life experiences shown me a new light to a brighter realm, and made my first time reading a travelogue worth it that I’m so amazed by this experience. So, I’m giving this book an amazing 4.3/5 Star for all its glory. [Thanks so much to the author for providing me with the book in exchange of an honest review]
We all have some dreams but we are always chained by the pleasure seeking and success demanding society that doesn't let us follow the goal of our heart. A Few has the courage to break the societal dictums and catch the flight of his dream.
'Dream Beyond Shadows' by Kartikeya Ladha is basically is reverberation of that courage. It is a tale of self realisation and the endeavor to fulfill that realisation of our heart.
The book opens in a critical juncture of the author's life who despite having a decent job and a good life feels incompleteness. Finally he decides to leave his job and go the Amazonian adventure in Peru.
'Dream Beyond Shadows' is a beautifully crafted travelogue that chronicles the author's journey to the jungles of Amazon in Peru. Divided in three parts the book is a delightful treat for all the souls that seek the pleasures of nature beyond the material life. The first part gives insight about the author's resolution to listen to his heart and to surrender to the call of the wild. In the second chapter we are taken into Ayahuasca. Here the author introduces us to the unique cultures of Peruvian life. The final chapter is about the different places that he visits and the peoples that cross his path during his journey in Amazon.
The book is partly autobiographical and thus the description of nature is carried out with touch of reality. With this book the reader can truly experience the adventure to the unknown region of Peru.
"In the darkness of night, under the radiating sun was when I became free." "It is in the darkness when you see the light that is hidden deep within yourself." - Dream Beyond Shadows by Kartikeya Ladha.
Dream beyond shadows by Kartikeya Ladha is a book that talks about an epic life changing journey of the author's life. The book is a golden egg for all those dreamers and seekers out there.
The author has very well narrated the story and his journey to Peru, after he quits his job at New York. The book is surely going to bring in so much energetic feeling inside you, which is going to make you think and follow what you really wish to do.
I loved the writing style and little quotes in the middle of the book at various places. The book is divided into 3 parts, and the journey of Ayahuasca in Peru. Your wanderlust soul will surely be blessed after reading this.
The book has made me learn so many things and plus the poems and quotes along with the pictures of the author along the journey made me feel I'm living it too. The second edition book cover is really very aesthetically pleasing as well as the title.
It's a travelogue. Undoubtedly a very unique book I have ever came across. Starting from the cover, it's so beautiful and gorgeous. I was attracted to the cover of the book to pick this one at first. Also the title is fascinating. It's basically a motivational book, where the author takes you to his journey of self discovering. The story is divided into three parts. In the first part i.e. complete surrender, the author where successfully working and living in the happening New York city, quits his job and prepares himself for taking the risk of visiting unknown land and to find the purpose of his life. On the second part of the story The Ayahuasca Journey is mentioned. The adventurous journey in Peru and Amazon journey, and the magnificent beauty of those place to read is to die for. And lastly in drifting mode, the elements like the awakening of soul, the human spirit and the inner voice have been portrayed. It's very beautiful book and motivating, self inspiring. It's an autobiography of the author, who have experienced this amazing journey in his life. The writing style of the author is praise worthy. Despite it being a lengthy book, it's still very engaging. The narration is lucid and clear. The language is profound and easily understandable by all. Will definitely recommend this book to every readers and specially to the ones who loves reading autobiography which is adventurous in nature and also those who are into travelogue. The title is apt for the storyline. This story gives the message to break away time bound limitations and relinquish the grip of the past.

Book is very well written. I truly enjoyed the writing style of author from very first page. Story was indeed inspiring. But I expected more. I expected something more happening, but most of the time it was about author meeting new people. There was a pattern and it kept repeating. Beginning was very well done but in the middle I had to drag myself.
If you're someone who love reading spiritual books then you might enjoy it more than I did.
The story is mildly interesting but the writing is not very good. There are issues both with language and editing. The insights feel basic.
I have a lot of sympathy for the sincereness of the author, his spirituality, his wanting to find his purpose in life, and the transformation of his values, but it doesn't make the book captivating.
Have you ever thought of leaving everything behind and find yourself while exploring the world? . I think about it at least once everyday. I don't believe in confiding myself in four walls they call 'home'. My idea of home is finding comfort in my own body, feeling at peace wherever I go. . This book is one such type. The author decides to stop what he was doing even though he was doing well in his career, and take up an unknown path just by following his inner voice. some people may find it mad or an unnecessary thing to do but he didn't care about anything. He just did what he wanted to do. You should read this book to find out how happy he gets whenever he takes a choice by just pure instincts but also it takes him wherever he deserves to be. This was my first travelogue experience with a book. God! I didn't expect it to be this good. I literally felt like traveling with him and experiencing his emotions and heightened excitements. It really felt like one hell of a beautiful journey to Peru, Amazon and back. I am sure you would want to pack your things and find your own journey right away if you read this book.
This is a travel book . It's divided into 3 parts - Complete Surrender , Ayahuasca journey and drifting mode . These parts give an idea of author's Travel life step by step .
First one talks about author's first Travel experience . In the second part the author talks about Amazon Jungle . The third part, author has discussed about human spirit, love ,the importance of revolution in life.
There are some tiny poems too.
What I love about this book
1. First of all I love the cover of the book . It's pretty and eye catching .
2. I love the story telling style of the author . He describes so well and doesn't make the reader bore .
Kartikeya Ladha’s ‘Dream Beyond Shadows’ is one of those rare books that I can read over and over again. Which is even rarer for a person, who with all her heart detest reading any Self-Help or Spiritual books.
You ask me Why? Because it’s really really good… And really helpful for someone who is going through some sort of identity crisis or a mental block, hindering the very peace of mind which we want to ultimately strive for.
Kartikeya Ladha’s ‘Dream Beyond Shadows’ is an inspiring tale that is part autobiographical, part spiritual, part travelogue and part poetry.
When I started with this book, I was unaware that it was to be a delight to read. Each turn of page, unconsciously released me from knots I never realised I was tied into. This book is a story of Kartikeya’s journey to self realization, that there is more to life than a successful career and a life of luxury. That life needs simplicity to thrive on, not the complexities we humans create for ourselves.
The Author decides to quit his job and take on a path that he never before thought of treading. The path of self actualisation through a journey of wanderer and a wonderer. Kartikeya travels to Peru in South America, where he encounters many soul enlightening experiences, which changes the Author in a very spiritual way.
Kartikeya Ladha’s spiritual journey inspired me on a very deeper level. It kind of forced me to contemplate about the journey I was in and it's consequences that may impact the mental well being.
The best part about the book is Kartikeya’s narrative. It felt like smooth flowing river; calm and harmonious. What’s more, the author weaved this beautiful journey intricately into an inspiring tale. I applaud the author with all my heart.
Dream beyond Shadows has earned a 4 star for its beautifully written story and the lesson it teaches its readers.
My first travelogue and my first non fiction of this year. Dreams Beyond Shadows starts with an Introduction in which the author gives a clear view as to why we need to introspect ourselves and what we do. He discusses how humans have become a creature of its own creation - machine and why its important to take a step back and see what we have really done to ourselves and to the earth. After the introduction, the book follows the author from the concretes of New York to the ancient valleys of Peru and lush, evergreen jungles of Amazon.
I really enjoyed this book. While reading it, you feel like you are seeing everything with your own eyes- cities and jungles, smell different air and food and meet new and different people. There is always this sense of being present in the moment and throughout the book, as we follow the author, we too encounter the joy of freedom and the fear of unknown paths and where it might take us.
The book is wonderfully produced. From the cover to the inner pages with pictures of author in different places with different people. It almost feels like you are flipping though someone's diary.
Dream Beyond Shadows by Kartikeya Ladha is a travelogue and accounts real life events and turning points in authors life from finding the true meaning of life and the hidden happiness to standing against norms of society and facing his inner fears.
Almost all of us, at least once in our lives have gone through this feeling of missing something when you have everything. It's that feeling of to do something beyond just earning money and having a successful career, to find inner happiness, to be free from the societal pressure, and to explore this beautiful world. The author realises this, makes a decision and goes on a journey to find something beyond.
The adventurous account from Peru to Amazon with beautiful pictures and picturesque description along with philosophical insights into the human life was delightful to read. However, I do feel that not everyone is privileged enough to leave their job and go on a trip to find their inner self. All of this does sound enticing and almost all of us crave it but can we afford to do it?
Overall, it was an inspiring read and the poetries in between were a great addition to the book.
Often we have come at a crossroads in our life. Feeling stuck & overwhelmed by society's pressures, life's going nowhere and bla bla. 💥 Oh God. What a roller coaster ride it was reading this book. It's a travelogue with the authors own story of an adventure that leaves behind the hustle and bustle of new York, winds along Ayahuasca vine through the tribal magic in the Amazon jungle, into the Incan legacy of Peru,'s sacred valley & Machu picchu. 💥 The message which he wanted to convey was that it is possible for anyone to break away from time-bound limitations & relinquish the grip of the past. Some insights which I want to share from the book which I took as a learning were- 1) Our prime investments should be in our younger generations, who will take humanity forward & save our planet from being consumed by our own selfish desires. (PG 70-71) 2) Nobody is born as a morning person or night person. Their subconscious mind makes them identify with one or the other based on how the atmosphere at a particular time of the day makes them feel. (PG - 114). 3) People have forgotten how to live peacefully & harmoniously. It is the duty to remind people if the importance of living in connection with nature, nurture the values of compassion, kindness, respect and love for all beings. (Pg- 162) 💥 The images and graphics used in the book added as an advantage in the reading. The poems especially "The One" touched my heart. An inspiring read especially for those who think they have lost their way and are sacrificimg their dreams for society and other pressures.
Once a year, go someplace you've never been been before. Live with no excuses and travel with no regrets. We travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us. People don't take trips, trips take people. Don't listen to what they say, go see. Don't Quit Your Day Dream.
How often do we read or come across these quotes? Very frequently I suppose, during our workplace or online websites or even every now & then on our WhatsApp statuses. It's rightly said that the best way to live life isn't just by merely living it, but also experiencing it. That will help us live our lives upto the fullest. And by experiencing, I don't mean just doing it for any namesake purposes, but by travelling to new places every year which we haven't visited before. Because visiting new uncharted places enables us to relish our growth in every domain & helping us achieve all the smallest possible joy with our close loved ones in it's highest/purest form!
This book is based on this very assumption that our happiness is within our reach, just at the clutches of our palm. It just depends on us on how we try to grab/achieve it. You may call this novel a travelogue or a travel planner by the author based on the accounts of his personal experiences. But at the end of the day, the deep philosophical insights provided in this book is worth relishing, reading & living for!
Let's not forget why or how is that possible? The mere main reason being the beautiful illustrations accompanying every chapter at many places in the novel accounts for a very delightful experience. Even the pictures of various places which have been added is really useful & will come in handy for personal purposes. Basically, it makes everything relatable. I even loved the short poems added at some places in the book.
Cover is beautiful, well designed & attractive. Title is apt & well selected. Language is okay. A slightly warning: the book isn't an easy read. It's very different & hence, difficult to grasp completely. There maybe many times where readers may get stuck due to the heavy content & tedious writing employed, infused which makes it quite tough to read. And often I found it quite monotonous as well. I wish it could've been written in a much substantial or subtle way. However, ignoring that it's quite enjoyable.
The story is of the personal life of the author. He has a good stable job, although not a dream one. But a desirable one by most of the Indians who seek to work abroad. Things go well until the central protagonist dedices to pursue his passion & throw away everything. He leaves his settled busy life of New York to an adventurous one as he embarks on a journey along the Ayahuasca vine through the tribal magic of shamanic ceremonies of the Amazon jungle, into the Incan legacy of Peru’s Sacred Valley & the sublime energy of the megalithic Machu Picchu. The most interesting aspect is that he breaks all prejudices & stereotypes set by the hypocritic society & pursues his long dream.
Society defines many things like job, life, success & happiness. But manyatimes we hear our inner conscience calling out to us, we ignore it. Sometimes, we must heed to our inner calling. The zeal of never giving up, the struggle to fight relentlessly no matter what odds one may face to pursue their true purpose in life is what sets them apart from others, makes them unique & different individuals who rise to the pinnacle of a blissful life.
Every time I travel to somewhere other than my normal schedule is just very exciting to me. And when it is a full fledged tour then it will be a cherry on the cake. "Dreams Beyond Shadows" is the author's memoir plus a travelogue.
This book is about author's life in New York, his trip to Peru and Amazon and his journey of self discovery. The book is very smartly divided into 3 different sections namely Complete Surrender, Ayahuasca Journey and Drifting Mode. The first section talks about his life and routine in New York. The way he was successfully working there and to break his monotonous schedule he decided to quit his job and travel to a place which he has no idea of. Second section is all about his journey in Peru, his experiences with the Ayahuasca ceremony in the jungles of Amazon and the descriptions of the valley of Machu Picchu. Last section is the concluding section and it has stuff like soul awakening, human spirit, gods etc
This book is so good and felt so genuine and real that I just can't stop imagining the things written in it. Being a travel lover myself this book is very much relatable to me. Also one more thing which makes it a little more special is the poetry and images in it. These 2 elements just breaks the monotony and make it much more interesting. All the poems made me realize that the author can be an amazing poet as well. The narration of the book is very crisp and will keep you hooked through out. At one point i got so engaged that it didn't felt like I am reading someone else's experiences. The author's way of expressing his voyage is very thoughtful and also his journey and experiences are very fun and intriguing to read. The writing style is very simple and lucid. The evocative descriptions of the places given by author is phenomenal.
I really appreciate the author's perspective towards life and they way he look at the world. His vision will definitely leave an impact on your POV. I admire his decision of leaving his monotonous life and going on a journey of self discovery because it requires a lot of confidence.
I loved this book and will definitely recommend it to you. Travel lovers you have no choice but to read it and if you don't love traveling then also read it and after finishing the last line of it you'll surely plan your trip very soon.
It's a travelogue of the author's journey when he decided to turn against the current life and move in the opposite direction of social expectations and his own conditioned fears.
The way the author expressed his journey is appreciable. The way the author narrated his journey is intriguing, keeping the reader hooked throughout. It feels so relatable. The writing style of the author is crisp and lucid. The author keeps the reader engaged from the very first page. He successfully built that curiosity amongst the readers to know what happens next. . The vivid description of the places is. Done beautifully by the author. It feels like being present there for that very moment. . That feeling of interacting with strangers, travelling like a local, witnessing and learning other culture and language, the difficulties, that attachment everything feels real in this book. Go on a solo trip with the author through this book. It's an amazing book that you must not skip. Sometimes you need to detach yourself from the world to know your inner self. This book has an important message to convey. With a beautiful, cover and title, this book is all you need. One of the best-read.
" The reason you feel something is missing in your life is because you have no idea what the world can truly offer. All you have to do is surrender yourself to the world". . The story begins with the emergence of egoless "I". Call it a travelogue, journey into within, memoir, a psychedelic journey, a story of self-growth it is everything. Dream beyond Shadows is one of my five-star reads of this year. Enriched with personal experiences in his life Kartikeya Ladha has written this book beautifully including poetry and illustrations. He wrote about a stage in his life where he had drastic changes after observing the energy is around him. He writes that, when you realize that everything you have been told and made to believe is nothing but a lie, you don't feel lost but downright shattered and directionless. The goals or dreams you have had till then seen as inconsequential and somehow false. He writes about his trip to Peru, and how he traveled talking to the local people and surviving there. In the second part of the book, he writes about his ayahuasca trip. The second part of the book kept me hooked till I read his entire journey. This book has it all that I wanted to read, an ayahuasca trip, traveling solo, the concept of time and energy, everything in one. I definitely recommend this book to each and everyone if you want to connect with yourself and fall into the lap of this universe.
Dream beyond shadows is the account of author's journey in search of his life's purpose. The journey takes us through the community-driven village of Lima in Peru to the ever-giving forests of Amazon, each of them bringing the author close to his destination. To experience this life-changing journey with the author, grab your copies of the book soon.
This book is penned down in an elaborate narration without the contexts being too dragged ( something I really liked). The easy and simple language of the narration does a good job of keeping the reader engrossed in the story. The short and simple poetic verses in between the story very well complements the emotions and sentiments of the story. The vivid descriptions and picturization of the people and the places gives the feeling of being present along with the author, experiencing everything in its entirety. Another thing that I really liked were the pictures and snapshots from the author's journey that were included in between the narration. Overall, it was a really good read.
The story is divided in to three parts. Complete surrender, the Ayahuasca journey and drifting mode. Each part defines author's journey towards achieving his goal. This is an autobiography, travelogue and motivation. I could visually travel to places the author has mentioned in detail. Pictures from the author’s life made it easier to understand the life of the author and thus, his words too. The Poetry used every now and then added to the narratives beautifully.
I would say this is a must read for everyone who wants to start a self introspection.

The book is a testament to the author’s courage and curiosity, as well as his passion for storytelling. The book is a motivational and enlightening read for anyone who wants to break free from the shackles of convention and discover their true potential.
Personal anecdotes have an entirely different influence on the readers because of the connection such notes can establish and the empathy that they can evoke. I can imagine the kind of pleasure the author of Dreams Beyond Shadows would have felt upon penning down the details about his adventures across the unchartered territories! With a fascinating and bright cover, Dreams Beyond Shadows is a first-hand account of the author’s quest to break free from the shackles of the past and explore all avenues that invited him with open arms.
Dream Beyond Shadows is an autobiographical travelogue which maps the major transition phases of author's life starting from his life in New York, travel to Peru, from Peru to Amazon and then back to Peru.He left his job to follow his inner voice which guided him on the path of self discovery.A life changing experience in Amazon after the Ayahuasca Ceremony unlatched the floodgate of emotions.Though it's a travelogue, it discusses not only about the place but essentially about humanity and the purpose of human life. 🌿 Narration is engaging since the very beginning. The language is crisp and lucid. The images and hearttouching Poetry breaks the monotony and the heavy emotions transversing through most of the book, allows the reader to connect to the story at a different level. The intricate descriptions breathed life into the story, many a times I imagined myself traveling with the author to the beautiful locales of Peru. The author touched on the issues like poverty, socioeconomic inequality, unemployment , importance of communication, trust and friendship. One couldn't help falling in love with the multiple interactions he had with strangers and how each meeting shaped his life and journey. 🌾 🌿 This book will inspire the readers to travel, inspire them to communicate and connect with strangers and search for the purpose of their existence.I would recommend this book to everyone.

Before I begin, I thank the author for giving me an opportunity to read such a beautiful travelogue. Well, it is more than just a travelogue. It is beyond soul-searching and self-discovery. It is more than that.
Dream Beyond Shadows is a phenomenal read on life itself, and it is not just the story. It is the storytelling that makes it so distinct from other budding Indian writers we read today. It's mesmerizing vocabulary, brilliant setting, and excellent choice of themes make the book a deeply profound read that must be read by us all once in our lives.
The first thing I loved about Dream Beyond Shadows was the very beginning of Chapter 1 - the question of "I". Personally, I have asked myself this same question innumerable times. Well, this is not existential crisis per se, but a question about who I am and why I am me. These profound, philosophical questions too have once plagued your mind. They may still do. And Dream Beyond Shadows captures this perfectly. This concern regarding this "I" becomes central to the various developments which happen throughout the plot of the story, which brings us to the second most significant feature of the book - structure. The author has devoted quite a big space for life philosophy to occupy a significantly greater bandwidth of the story, but that too is done very subtly. Indeed, the book does not claim to be philosophical explicitly. It merely attempts at narrating you a true account in a fictional setting, which you might be able to relate to; and trust me, it is relatable. I'll come back to this part later. Moving on to the language of the book; Dream Beyond Shadows carries a lot of ideas, notions, concepts which make the book philosophically voluminous in that manner. There are introspections regarding moving on in life, about acceptance and truth, hope and despair, and the list goes on. Most importantly, all of this employs the usage of a simple and mellifluous language, which is rhythmic and soothing at the same time. At one point, you do feel as if you are in a dialogue with this book itself. Fourthly, the themes which the book explores are simply splendid. Dream Beyond Shadows delves deep into the autobiographical to bring out the universal aspect of it. Life experiences, after all. are universal in nature, no matter where it happens, how it happens, and who experiences it. This universality of experience makes Dream Beyond Shadows so relatable to people of all ages. There are picturesque descriptions of landscapes and locations, while the author anchors your attention on the protagonist's inner self. And this is what makes reading this book such a beautiful and phenomenal experience. I convey my best wishes to the author for his future endeavours.
"I'll live my day working for the day when the heart of every living being on this planet can beat as one"

The first thing I love about the book is it's attractive cover. I must say the story is as beautiful as it's cover , so that you won't regret after buying it. The book is composed of various experiences of author's life. It states the beauty of living your life on your choice without worrying about "what will people say". The story started when the author quit his job even though he had a prospering Carrer and decided to begin his life as a traveler. Ofcourse he had to face a few obstacles for this decision but the ultimate happiness of pure adventure overpowered everything. The book is divided into three parts: 1. Complete surrender: The author explained his first travel experience 2. Ayahuasca journey: Here he described Amazon Forest 3. Drifting mode: where he wrote down the philosophy of living and experiencing the revolution of his soul. The book is really unique. I loved how the author spent time to decorate the book with photographs and sketches. The language is lucid. The writing style is simple and flawless. Overall I loved this book. It was totally a new experience for me as well.
