Scripture tells us to pray without ceasing, but how in the world do we do that? In fact, how should we effectively pray to begin with? Best-selling author Beth Moore addresses these practical and pervasive matters in Whispers of Hope by walking readers through an easy to remember and apply method of prayer, coupled with seventy daily devotionals and followed by prompts to put this prayer method into practice. Indeed, Whispers of Hope teaches the manifestation process of powerful Word-saturated prayer in response to a daily Bible reading. In turn, you will better understand how devotional reading and prayer are central to a stronger relationship with God.

Beth reaches out and grabs my attention each morning as I read through each devotional. Beth is an inspiration to me and draws me toward Scripture and God.
Whispers of Hope was a great 10-week guided prayer devotional by Beth Moore. It was a gifted to me by one of my mentors with the hopes it would encourage me in my faith.
I will admit that it took me a little longer than 10 weeks to complete. (Which is totally on my lack of motivation, not the devotional). However, the more I got into this devotional, the more motivated I became to make it a habit of meditating on the scripture and praying each morning. It’s definitely something I look forward to now.
I also enjoyed using the PRAISE (Praise, Repentance, Acknowledgement, Intercession, Supplication, Equipping) framework to structure my prayer each day. It helped me to gather my thoughts and reflect up the passage with those different aspects in mind.
Overall, I think Moore selected many wonderful passages. I also enjoyed her commentary as it helped me think of things with some confirming and some new perspectives. This is definitely a devotional I would recommend to others.
I can't recommend this Devotional enough. There were so many nights where I was comforted by the Scripture and Beth's writing. Writing my prayers was almost freeing. As someone who enjoys writing, I feel like this allowed me to open up to God a lot more. I also found that by writing, I had a lot more to pray for. Now, it did take me long to read. Mostly because I lost it, found it, did some more, lost it again. And found it again but wasn't doing it. Decided recently to finish and I'm glad I did. Like I said, can't recommend this enough. Shoot, I'd even do this again!
Beth Moore always teaches and inspires me toward a growing relationship with God. I started my day with this book which helped me focus my thoughts on Christ. I really liked the acronym PRAISE to help me pray. Thank you Beth Moore for your continued ministry!
