A Good Fictional story was spoiled due to extreme cinematic way of Narration.
With better writing, this could end up in Tamil cinema.

What do you expect in historical fictions?
'Coded Triangles' by Shreedher Priyan is a gripping historical fiction I read recently, it's also the first historical science fiction novel in tamil literature, the storyline is unique and exemplary with the riveting third person narrative, the author has merged stories of various engrossing characters.
The story starts with the colossal introduction of Rajendra Chola, while getting delved into the compulsive setting of Chola Empire, the narrative moves to 2012 Cambodia, a group of archeologists excavating the temple of Angkor Wat, with the same time period, we perceive a mysterious guy stealing a mobile in a bus in Chennai and at the same sequence, the storyline revolves in the setting of 1996 with another enthralling narration.
The language is transparent with the eloquent descriptions of historical events.

Very poorly written book. Too many grammatical mistakes. Story skips and leaps at many places. And then there is fantasy element (some paranormal elements)....overall quite a dull read. Avoid!!!

முப்பத்து மூன்று அத்தியாயம் கொண்ட இந்த புத்தகம் பண்டைய கால அறிவியலில் இருந்து நவின கால ஆராய்ச்சி வரை உங்களை அழைத்துச் செல்லும், சோழ மன்னரான ராஜேந்திர சோழன் அவர் மறைத்து வைத்த ரகசியமான மர்ம முக்கோணங்களை பற்றிய கதையே இந்த புத்தகம்! இதில் வரலாற்றை மட்டும் நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு போகாமல் அறிவியல், தொல்பொருள், அட்வெஞ்சர், காதல், மரணம் என அனைத்தையும் வைத்து பிரம்மிக்க செய்துள்ளார்
இந்த நாவலை எழுதிய விதம் தான் என்னை மிகவும் கவர்ந்தது! ஒரு
ஹைப்பர் லிங்க் சினிமா போலவே பல கதைகளை பல்வேறு இடத்தில் தொடங்கி ஒரு இடத்தில் முடிப்பது போலவே நாவலை எழுதியுள்ளார்! இந்த கதையில் வரும் அனைத்து கதாபாத்திரங்களும் கச்சிதமாக சிறப்பாக வடிவமைத்துள்ளார், முக்கியமாக ரகு என்ற கதாபாத்திரம் உங்களை நெகிழ வைத்துவிடும்!

Science Fiction? Not really...
A fair debut. The language is stilted and tiring with typical South Indian forms and errors. I found it extremely distracting. The characters are paper thin and the plot is unnecessarily convulated. The ending sets up a sequel that, quite frankly, I am not looking forward to. Nevertheless, all the best Shreedhar Priyan.

One of the Good Novels filled with Mystery and Thriller... The way the story narrated was very nice... A Good Screenplay except for some extended scenes... It's a Blend of Historical Facts, Science and Fiction. The Young Author who is also a Doctor has done a Great Work.
