Unraveled World #3

Oracle's Luck

The world is falling apart at the seams. Literally.

Magic has collided with Earth. Soon, the realms will find out and come running with their pitchforks. If the whole flipping world doesn't just crash and burn.

Vera has to prevent that.

And save a siphon baby.

And fix Kale--no way is she letting that man walk away from her.

But first, she'll have to stay out of a cyclops' stewpot.

She used to think that Lady Luck had it out for her. Turns out, someone else has been manipulating her life all along. Someone who knows everything that will ever happen. Vera will have to hunt down some creepy beings and make her own luck if she's going to alter the fate of the world.

But no worries. She's got this.

Maybe.

I honestly loved the first two books in this series, and that’s a big deal for me because I normally do not care for sweet, YA romances. However, the characters, world-building, and storyline pulled me in until I was completely immersed in the lives of Vera and Kale.

I’m sad to say that the final book in the series fell a little flat for me. It was rushed. Crazily rushed. There were info dumps, tons of new characters, and rather than feeling drawn into the story world, I felt like I was juggling it. There was no growth in Vera and Kale’s relationship, and their struggles - both individually and interpersonally - were resolved with ridiculous ease. Unfortunately, everything was tidied up just a bit too easily. I don’t know what changed so much between books two and three, but it didn’t have the same flow at all.

I hate to have the series end on a sour note, but I still think Vera and Kale are remarkably lovable characters with a great story to tell, and books one and two will definitely get a re-read (or two) from me!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book and the series in general. This book was a simple read with an interesting storyline. I loved the slow burn romance – there is no Insta-love here thankfully!

I like how the character’s stories have evolved and some of the plot twists in this last book of the series. This book was a lot more action heavy than the first two and introduces a lot of new characters. It probably could have been split into 2 smaller books.

I still wish it had more information in the text about the different races. Vera’s voice felt a bit “younger” than the last book but not juvenile.

This series contains fun new magic with many different abilities, and engaging characters for an entertaining quick read.

Not only has this series kept me totally captivated, it just provided a conclusion that I truly never saw coming! And as conclusions go...there is still lots of wiggle room to branch out into the future lives of these characters or even back stories of tangent characters. Highly entertaining and creative, this series also offers unique world building and a plethora of plot twists! A fantasy readers dream! Looking forward to more by this author! Satisfied

I really enjoyed this series. The world building was incredible as were the characters. I wish there was an epilogue a couple years later that featured Vera, Kalr, Mimi and Addamas to give us a glimpse of what cones next for them but even without that epilogue I enjoyed the story and found the ending satisfying.

Perfect end to the series! All Hell breaks loose, but the author does an awesome job of tying up all the loose ends, and piecing everything together. It was kind of a bummer that it was over because the main characters were a lot of fun! I definitely enjoyed this book, as well as, the rest of the series, and it's one I plan to keep on my bookshelf to reread later.

Amazing Trilogy!

Loved this story! Book 2 was a bit slower but book 3 made up for it. Can’t wait for what’s next!
