Brilliant read from a brilliant mind
Dark Angel creates a world that you find yourself as part of the story. So intimate that you dive deeper into the minds of our characters that you become the character. In my case , “Her”. I am Her. I am tunneling through her by becoming “Him”. We don’t get the names of our two main characters but the journey promises to be an interesting one. From a readers perspective, we are learning about our guy character: his preferences, quirks, personality, attitude and general thoughts. We learn about the girl character through his imagery, speculations, deductions, and behavior. Deep and conniving that if warranted could become a suspense or thriller. But I have read this author’s work before and he does not disappoint or glamour. His stories are virtuous and authentic. Some would saw raw.

Captivating
DarkAngel completely captivated me in this world he created. Although he does not reveal the character's names in this book it does not matter. I was drawn into this book I became her. I visualized myself in her position. This is a genere I am new to reading. I have only read not quite a handful of books in this genre. I never felt I could imagine myself in any way in this world. But I did. I was her. I was opposite the male character in my mind. When I read normally I imagine myself sometimes in the characters place but never this strong. The way DarkAngel writers I was pulled in. I became her and as myself reading this I felt all she felt. But as myself, and not her, I felt frustration to thinking there is no way I would let a man do or say the things he said to her. But I was wrong. I kept reading and the more I read the more I wanted to be her. The more I wanted to be with him. The more I wanted to be experiencing all she had since they met. I was thoroughly turned on more than I have been with any book I ever read.
As this is only the first book DarkAngel has left me wanting more.

Leaves you wanting more...
This is my first time delving into this authors works. I has to say it was an enjoyable read. By not giving the main characters any identities other than pronouns, let's the reader easily slip into the skin of the Hero or heroine giving you the sense even more than usual of living in the world orchestrated by the author. DarkAngel certainly is a master at weaving a tale that leaves you wanting more.

"There is an innate nature in all of us." DarkAngel poses this statement at the beginning of "Her", his latest book. A chance encounter between a man and a woman at a convention in New Orleans, has the man, a Dom, wanting to train the woman, "Lilone" to be a submissive. Is "Lilone" ready to be strong and "put other people before" herself? I have a feeling that DarkAngel will be putting his readers through their test to see if we can "put other people before" ourselves as he continues with the next book in this series. Will we be ready?❤

He's in tune with her body and mind. She is physically fighting back, but subconsciously submitting. He lets her run, but makes sure she knows that she will be punished for her disobedience. She is the one who reaches out and decides to come back for more. He is patient and the only one who truly sees her. This story gives us insight into the beginning of her training. I look forward to reading the next book in this exciting new series by DarkAngel.

I liked this short story but it started like you had already read a book before it and it isn't until chapter three that it started explaining and then flips right back to the story and then back to explaining. So, the story doesn't really flow and is a little confusing the way it is written - which makes it's sort of boring. But I still would recommend it.

DarkAngel has an amazing skill for writing and certainly did not disappoint with this book. This story is Her journey into becoming a submissive and a wonderful beginning to a new series. I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and the characters and I can’t wait for book two. A definite must read.

A very good book and an unusual book. This is my first book to read by DarkAngel and will be reading more. This is a short storynd about how he meets her. At first it started as though it was a 2nd book, but as you get into the story he explains how they meet. Enjoy

As a fan of DarkAngel's work, I find myself drawn to his unique and masterful style of writing, and the book, HER is no exception. I found the characters to be intriguing and curious to learn more about them. I am interested to know how this series progresses. Well done, DarkAngel!

With the names of the central characters not given, this is beautifully written in a way I can't really explain. I am "Her". I found myself channeling through "Him" to become "Her". I must say, I was really taken with this book...I can't wait until part two!

This is a short and captivating read. Her meeting him at an event and him slowly leading her to discover her submissive side. This is written in his POV. I enjoy reading Darkangel stories they are so much more than just stories and always give some deeper meaning.

Delighted

This book was captivating. This author is so amazing at drawing the reader in. It was a fantastic read and it leaves you wanting so much more. She definitely wants to submit but her body is fighting it. Don't fight it lilone. I am ready for a book two.
