This is book six in the Immortal Curse series and the contrast here between the happiness and despair displayed was just so acute.
This swung back and forth like a pendulum and I felt like I was constantly walking a tightrope in regards to my turbulent emotions.
We were back with Aya and Isaac again and I really wanted events to play out and them to come out on top so I was holding my breath here in pure anticipation and thankfully this did not disappoint.
With so many story arc's converging I was in seventh heaven and this also had my heart breaking with the raw emotional journey I was on.
This really was an emotional one for me and I was again blubbing my eyes out with a passion.
We also got treated to some added extras here like Red and Jay's wedding and a family Christmas which was lovely.
All in this was a super read that closed a chapter here in anticipation for a different story direction.
All I need now is some closure in regards to a certain couple.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Angel Bonds (Immortal Curse #6).

Heartbreaking. Heartbreaking. Heart... breaking!

That's what this story was. Stas and Issac were doomed. One drop of her blood could kill him and yet their love... their sweet, sweet love just couldn't die. Although the readers knew the truth, that these two were destined for an eternal life together, they didn't know it.

So here's what I knew going in:
❥ Stas was a seraphim whose memories were altered to protect her? Humanity?
❥ Stas's parents were very much in love and sacrificed everything to give her a chance
❥ Gabriel/Stark was Stas's brother and guardian angel 🡲 even when it seemed he was the enemy
❥ Ezekiel may have been a 'bad guy' and had mysterious motives, but at heart, he was on the righteous path
❥ Everyone was going to find out the truth and Stas and Issac better get their happy ending

So... this book had many moving parts. Stas's origin was revealed... Stas's connection to Gabriel was revealed... a traitor in the midst was revealed... the truth came out! I don't know what this means for Osiris, but I'm hoping they find some way to permanently put this guy out of commission. I'm excited for more of Sethios and Caro. I can't wait for them to make their way back to each other, especially because of what they've endured all these years in protecting Stas. I'm thrilled about what's happening between Issac and Stas and I'm hoping there's going to be a love interest for Gabriel too. I'm intrigued by Ezekiel and Skye's story and I'm crossing my fingers that something sweet happens there. There's also Balthazar and Leela... those two are sure to be explosive. I'm wondering what will happen with regards to Luc and Eliza. I'm not really feeling a ship between them, but who knows what the author will bring. Then there's Johnathan... THANK YOU!!

My favorite lines:
Issac: "You’re my always, Aya, he whispered, hugging her to him. Whatever you need, I’m here. Wherever you go, I’ll go. We’re a team, you and I. No matter the obstacle, no matter the trial, I will never leave your side. That’s my vow to you, always and forever. Across the universe and beyond, I will love you."

Stas: “You’re my always, Issac,” she said, her voice soft yet clear. “I promise to honor you, to cherish you, to be honest with you, and to respect you. To work with you, not against you. To forever remain by your side, regardless of the trial or task. And to trust you, always and forever. Across the universe and beyond, I will love you.”

Honestly, I went into this series with absolutely no expectations and the author blew me away. I'm in love with this world she's created and I can't wait for the next book to come out!!

OH. MY. GOD. This book. I have no words.

This was a raw, emotional gut-wrenching read from beginning to end,but oh so enlightening and it got lots of the questions answered that i am sure we all wanted to know. This journey for Stas and Issac is heart-breaking and the roller coaster of a ride that you are in for is just EPIC, be warned though as this story will drag you along for the ride with them, you will feel like you are experiencing there love and there pain for yourself, and be prepared you will need lots of tissues at the ready and plenty of wine to get you through this,so many times i had to put this book down just to get a grip of myself as my heart was breaking. And Breath,i need a while to sit and digest it all.

I have been excited but also dreading this book for so long now,and to say that Lexi got this story and how it flowed along right is a understatement as she totally nailed it, this was definitely the best book by far as her world building and attention to detail is phenomenal, she takes you with her into this world where you have all the feels for every single character that we are getting to know very well the more books we read.Issac and Stas are my favourite couple and this story did not disappoint at all.

All my emotions were all over the place through out this book, from putting my kindle down where i had to let myself breath and bawl,to full on laughter at some of the things that B comes out with, bless him and his one liners, you will need that trust me to lighten your heart.I don't want to say anything about this story as you will need to pick this book up and see for yourself.

This is one of the best PNR series out there at the minuet, this has captured my heart with all the twists and turns that you don't see coming, this author is just brilliant with how she brings all the feels and emotions out of you that will leave you breathless with how this story unfolds. This book deserves so much more that five stars,if you love a pnr this is definitely a series you need to read.

Absolutely brilliant, what rollercoaster of emotions. Action, intrigue, mystery, passion, humour, heartbreak, this book had it all. I absolutely loved it!!

This book, this whole series is utterly compelling and Stas and the wickedly evil Osiris didn't even need to use their powers on me, it's that good!

Stas and Isaac are back at the centre of Angel Bonds with their ongoing heartbreaking struggle to be together, but there is so much more besides. Balthazar, the more I see from this beautiful, empathic man, the more I love, same with Luc, the protective Hydraian King. There is so much emotion, feeling and depth to Lexi's writing and I'm utterly intrigued by so many of the characters. They all have their own story to tell and part to play, no matter what side they are on. I sobbed, laughed, swooned and at times my heart shattered, then got stitched back together. I have so much love for this world, this series and now I'm desperate to find out what happens next.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would

Seriously, before you start reading this a few words of warning… Do NOT read while you are in the pickup line after school waiting for your kids. People will wonder why there is a grown adult crying in the car. Your kids may look at you funny as well… Also of note, if you don’t want your kids to watch you ugly cry, do NOT read while they are still awake and trying to play, do homework, or expecting to be fed. And tell your SO that you are going to be emotional and sniffly if you decide to read while anyone else is in the house.

Now, for the Do’s when you read this book - Have copious amounts of liquid hydration handy. Preferably water to replenish the water that will invariably leak from your eye sockets. Do have a massive box of kleenex or other brand tissue handy, for they will be needed to wipe away the tears and resultant snotty nose from all of said tears. Do trust that our amazing author goddess knows what she is doing and where she is going with the words. She is going to break your heart, she may give you a few laughs, and she may definitely piss you off at points, but that is the beauty of the gem of this story… Of the whole series.

The books will bring out all of the feels in spades. Stas and Issac are in for a roller coaster of a ride, and they take you along kicking and screaming. But the story does not disappoint. Not in any way, shape or form. I had trouble putting the book down, to the point that my hubby rolled over at midnight to remind me “you have to be up in a few hours to get the kids” and I replied through tears and a growl informing him I was well aware of the time and just finishing one more chapter. I may have heeded the warning and slept, but under much protest.

The story may leave you feeling like an insolent toddler at times, then a randy in love teenager a while later. Did I mention the rollercoaster of a ride you are about to embark on? Good, consider yourself forewarned, now go forth and enjoy the hell out of the story. Because it is truly a masterful journey and well worth the read!

The series just keeps getting better, I am so very excited to see where the story goes next. We have so much left unsaid, undone, and a few characters that still need to die horribly painful deaths while others get their happily ever after. I want MORE!

Book 6 of The Immortal Curse Series!
This series should be read in order.

Absolutely Amazing! Another spell-binding addition to this magnificent storyline! Of course I knew it would be, this series is already implanted, embedded in my heart. OMG!!! I read this book with my heart beating out of my chest, my skin littered with goosebumps, and tears in my eyes. My emotions were all over the place. It took me two days to finish, I just couldn't finish, I didn't want to be done. I've savored this series knowing I had to wait for the 7th book to be released. Certain characters don't have their end yet, but I was extremely happy with most the outcomes in this book. Ugh. I'm not spoiling. Anyway, I can't recommend this series enough! If you like paranormal romance, this series is an absolute must read!

Lexi C Foss has become an automatic click for me! She could write a grocery list and I'd read it.

Me: Is there nothing this author cannot write?

Also me: No, I don’t think there is.

After finishing Angel Bonds this is totally the conversation that I had in my head.

This author, guys! She isn’t afraid to go beyond the pale. Unafraid to take the story that little step further. And boundaries? What are those? She unashamedly writes for the story and it shows.

Angel Bonds is a rollercoaster of emotions. You can feel anything from joy to absolute anger! I guess thats the greatness of an author really, making you feel a range of emotions.

In Angel Bonds, all of the main characters are back and it is amazing to read them. Balthazar for me guys, absolutely killed it. His one liners, his attitude, his wit. Amazing.

However, i guess we should go to the main story running through, that of Stas and Issac. Their journey has been a whirlwind and its still ongoing. In AB its an absolute tumult. A guessing of will they/wont they make it, and kiddies, I’m here to tell you that I just cannot tell you without giving away spoilers. What I will say is that there are shocks in store for the reader, ones that I think will answer a lot of questions.

It’s another belter of an Immortal story and I very much cannot wait for more. Highly recommend!

I truly do not have any words to adequately describe the journey and emotional rollercoaster that was Angel Bonds.
I cried (we are talking ugly cry)- I laughed- I hoped- I cringed and I raged.
For every sacrifice, every triumph, every loss - I was there

This is NOT standalone - You need to start from the beginning
I promise you this series is a journey that is worthy of your complete attention

**Note ** Before you begin might I suggest the following-
* Tissue (lost of tissue)
* Water or Alcohol (I would go with the strong stuff)
* A safe place, preferably one where you can ugly cry - where you can sniffle (the gross noisy kind that goes with the ugly cry) - where you can scream and rage without fear of retribution (since only you can see the characters I would mark this one as the most important)
* The following day off of any adulting that is normally required, you will need the recovery time

I became a part of the Immortal Curse family when I took a chance with Blood Laws and with each new release I have only grown more vested.
Angel Bonds checked every one of my must have boxes for a five-star read
✓ Angst (in abundance)
✓ Suspense (white knuckling)
✓ A cast of misfit and completely inappropriate characters (in spades)
✓ Comedy (the till your side hurts kind)
✓ Romance (Forever kind)
Foss brings her stories to life in a way that is truly magical.
Easily transporting the reader across dimensions, captivating them and making them a part of the story, not just an observer of events.

I have said this before and will say it again:
This is one of the best paranormal series out there to date!
A must read series for anyone who enjoys the paranormal genre.

What a wild ride!!!! One that I never wanted to end. The tension of the slow climb, the terror of the sudden fall and angst of all the bumps and curves, has my emotions and my brain in total vertigo. I'm gonna need a minute to recover. I laughed, cried, screamed, literally, held my breathe and want nothing more than to experience it all again, and again and again.

This is the reason I fell in love with Lexi's writing and the reason I come back with every book release! I highly recommend this series, to anyone who needs a shot of adrenaline, an escape from the ho-hum that life can be sometimes. Angel Bonds is like a shooting back a six pack of Red Bull.....wings included!

You know those times when no matter what you decide to read, nothing resonates and you close the cover on a dozen books and wonder what is happening? I have just the cure for you...this book, this series. I guarantee it.

Angel Bonds is #6 in this series and I still have vertigo from pace at which my emotions ricocheted around the room. I laughed...I cried, and honestly, the list of emotions I experience when reading this author's work leave me speechless.

These characters are wonderful, this world is fascinating and intense, and I close the cover on each installment hoping it won't be long until the next. There is action, there is hold your breath anticipation and a ton of swoon-worthy love to smooth out the bumpy ride.

I found this author when I was looking...looking for something different, looking for something more and she delivers the goods. If you're not reading the Immortal Curse series, I highly recommend you rectify that!

Omg... nailed it! This book...wow... more emotion and action together than an others before it! I’m truly still left speechless that writing this review is difficult.
This is the 6 book in the Immortal Curse Series and it’s no surprise it’s still going strong. Actually it’s going stronger. There’s a time in life that no matter what you do you know the outcome won’t go in your favor, and Issac and Stas know that just as well as we do. But they make the most of what they can. It’s not just time that they have to fight, but also love, life, war, and death. The saying “what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger,” sums up this story better than I can so I’ll leave you with that.

Presto Stas. Lo prometto.

Ti vorrò sempre bene.

Gabriel

Ah, dimenticavo… Sethios è un 30 e lode tutto tondo!

Angel Bonds will leave you craving more❣️

Angel Bonds is the story we’ve all been waiting for😍 Most of the questions that you’ve been asking yourself since Blood Laws came out are answered and a few I didn’t even know I had were answered too. Suffice to say a lot happens in this book and I hate spoilers as I think the book should be read the way the author intends for it to be read. So all I will say is this book is emotional, it’s epic and it’s revealing....and it’s a must read💕 If you haven’t already read this series do yourselves a favour and one click. This saga is one of the best paranormal series’s out there and Lexi is one of my top favourite authors in this genre.

A massive thank you to Lexi for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review and I eagerly await Blood Seeker to find out more and hope my heart can be stuck back together with glue💔

Finally we got my favorite couple back in this book with their point of views, missed Stas and Issac. I loved seeing Stas grow into herself and become bolder, even in the bedroom with her man, “I’m about two seconds away from demanding you eff me.” Even if Issac thinks he looks like crap its always good to know his woman appreciates his looks, "he snorted. “I’m an unkempt mess, but thank you for accepting it.”He gazed down at her, his palm against her lower back, holding her close. “After we eat, I need a proper shower and a shave. Mountain man is not my preferred appearance.” I can't wait to see what this series has in store for us next.

Lexi takes us on one hell of a ride in this book.

There's drama, passion, excitement and a healthy dose of WTF.

I was on the edge of my seat from the very first page.

Once more into the breach my friends!
And we are back to the paranormal romance genre, im on book 6 now and its just now feeling like we are getting out of the tutorial where the plot is developing past just being an excuse for the cheesy romance (not a bad thing). And dont get me wrong the cheesy romance and smut are here to stay, it just needed to get some story out of the way first. That said, plot has never really been the strong point of the genre.

In excellent news, the cringy power dynamic and the lack of informed consent from book 5 is long gone and everything about the romance sits a lot better, though there is less of it relative to the length of the book.

So lets talk about the actual story for a moment.. ... It reminds me of playing Vampire the Masquerade (for those of you who are familiar) it felt arbitrary, forced, and all based on one asshole holding onto all the secrets instead of letting everyone enjoy the experience of putting the pieces together. Except in this case the asshole character shouldnt have been an asshole as much as they make him out to be, but the story uses him as an excuse to retcon all the questionable decisions, idiot balls, and worldbuilding loopholes in the past 5 books by completely throwing him under the bus.

Lets just say that I am.. less than thrilled with the delivery of the plot. But at least its finally moving forward and the paranormal part of paranormal-romance got to stretch its legs a little.

The series is still a bit of a guilty pleasure, and the writing on the whole has absolutely improved since book 1. But with 2 books in a row somewhat falling flat for me im losing interest in what may happen next, and if I didnt have a few friends who read (and are excited) about the series and where it ends up this would have been an excellent stopping point with a major arc getting mostly resolved. As it is.. we will see!

Yep. I gave it fives stars. Shocking, I know. But this book was just, well, powerful. It had so many many moving parts that tied heavily into the overarching story of the series but holy crap did it deliver. I was genuinely not expecting it to be that good.

This series definitely started off bumpy for me, I wasn't even sure I'd continue on as it wasn't my favorite type of format either. I am very happy I pushed on and kept reading because it really has gotten better with each book.

I adored Issac so, so much. I loved him in book one and this book only enhanced those feelings. I even end up liking Stas a lot more than I did originally, which was surprising to me but I'm not complaining.

Their relationship felt more settled in this book. It definitely felt like it evolved throughout the other books compared to how it felt when book one ended. I'm glad for that, because I wasn't convinced of their connection because of that issue.

I genuinely felt so many emotions from this book. As always, it had some humor (hello, Alik and Balthazar) but it carried a far more serious tone due to the threat of Orisis and Jonathan hanging over their heads. It broke my heart so many times. I cried, and then I cried some more. It was ridiculous, because I knew these moments, atleast some were only temporary but the emotions! 😭 God, just experiencing Stas and especially Issac's thoughts and emotions throughout their journey was so heart wrenching.

This book was hard on my emotions, but was a really strong installment of the series. Probably the most important yet. Now I'm gonna drown in my feels and jump into the next book.

One word: Angst.

Angels Bonds was one angst filled adventure back into the Immortal Curse universe as we join Issac and Stas for Christmas in Montana, a beach wedding, a trip to the Wakefield estate in England and more location hopping than an influencer with a passport.

As Issac and Astasiya come to terms with her toxic blood and the inevitable end of their passionate relationship she struggles to find happiness in the moments around her. Issac too must accept that they can never return to the way things were but neither are willing to give up on each other just yet. This is a prevalent theme for the first half of the book as the pair desperately try to put off the inevitable. Did I mention this book was angsts?

Of course, the ever present threat of Jonathon comes to a head as the rest of the Immortal crew come together to finally get revenge on Tom’s evil father but not before a traitor is discovered in their midst and their plans are revealed more than once.

The twists and turns follow Astasiya as she discovers her true background and comes of age as a Sepraphim. The threat of Osiris plays out as she, Issac and Gabriel (Stark) must move to save Sethios from his controlling influence.

Overall this story had enough plot twists to keep me engaged. I enjoyed all the little side character plots that I can’t wait to see developed and my heart ached for others who have been forced apart.

(\0/)Angel Bonds....ohhhh my!

Lexi has cursed me with this Immortal Series....cursed me into craving more and more of these Immortals!
Angel Bonds, is book 6 and what a wowwza!
Isaac and Aya’s story continues in Angel Bonds, along with the rest of the gang every step of the way (*sigh* B, my fave;p). And oh had they needed to be there supporting Isaac and Aya, each other AND ME through this roller coaster of a read! From Christmas joy, to a wedding proposal that any girl could not help but melt, to a wedding, to a war, to devastating loss and heart break, to long awaited revelations.... (I could go on but don’t want to give any spoilers away)Lexi brought out every emotion possible in this book and I reveled in every moment!
This book was so well written that I found myself not even skimming through one paragraph to get along in the book, I thoroughly enjoyed every word of the read so much!
If you haven’t started this series yet, I HIGHLY recommend you start reading. Lexi has brought these characters alive and you can’t help but love them and want to be part of their world!
I am on pins and needles for book 7! Lexi’s talent grows more and more with each book and she reminds me why I love reading so much!

I absolutely adore Issac Wakefield. The story of Issac and Stas has been an emotionally wrought journey, and this book picks up after Stas has died and been reborn a Hydrarian, which makes her blood literally lethal to Issac, an Ecorian. Unable to say goodbye to the one they love, they remain together, finding intimacy in ways that won’t put Issac’s life at risk. The first half of the book is very melancholy. We have situations where Stas finds herself upset that she won’t be able to have her HEA with Issac, while those around her are getting theirs. Of course, having read the previous book, the readers are privy to some very crucial information regarding this, and it’s almost excruciating waiting for the truth to be revealed. A tragic and violent event triggers a bigger war to be waged, and reveals deep and shocking truths that change their worlds forever. As more and more is revealed about Stas’ past, heritage, and family, the story arcs towards passion and revenge.

This book moves between pure anguish, and blissful joy, and virtually every emotion in between. There are some wonderful moments with family and friends, and I continue to absolutely adore the Elders, and the fun dynamic they bring to literally every scene they are in. And the set up for the next book is fantastic. I truly can’t wait to see the continuation of this story and these characters.

I received this audiobook free in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Really enjoyed this book! Stas and Isaac are my favs still (although Jayson and Lizzie are up there too lol) so I was so excited to see that they had another book since normally these series move on from couple to couple without going back to previous MCs. This was exciting and a LOT of development both plot and character wise, and I really enjoyed it although it definitely took more brain power to read than some of the previous books that were more straight forward.

Like I said, loved it and was on the edge of my seat for most of it—however, I guess as an avid romance reader a lot of the tension/anxiety was a bit dulled for a lot of the bigger moments bc I knew without a doubt that Stas and Isaac would find a way to be together, lol. Like I was not worried at all even in some scenes that otherwise I would’ve been sobbing through (please can we stop murdering Stas? Homegirl has gone through the RINGER) because I knew that the author wasn’t about to kill off one of the main characters or keep the two love interests separated forever in a *romance series*.

Having said all that, still really enjoyed it and looking forward to another one! Hoping Stas and Isaac keep getting spotlights lol

Angel Bonds is the 6th book in the Immortal curse series and what I believed to be the last. As it turns out, 3 more books will be released in the future, which explains why some characters did not a happy end in this book. You have Leela and B, Luc and Eliza, Alik is still alone and of course, let's not forget the secondary characters who made it out alive. With this book, a big chapter in the series closes and our characters did nothing but prepare for the big fight. I find a little ironic that I read the book the same week as Endgame and the third episode of Got were released. A lot of battles have been going on and a lot of stories are ending. Obviously, I cannot say much because unlike the previous two books, the plot of Angel Bonds is happening in the present timeline and big things happened. We finally found what Stas's role is supposed to be and how she and Isaac could have a future together. It's one of the best books in the series if not the best. Now, I wish that the author will stop teasing us about the elders and just give us their stories.
