An OK book, but it just felt like things were missing. I like the idea of that only one witch can be in a town, I love that when another witch appears magic goes chaotic, the pets were cute, the art was fun, and I liked how there was a witch-fight, but I don't know. Why doesn't the first witch just get some kind of deed/protection so no one can live there? Why did the book end so open-ended? Why was nothing resolved? Why is it immediately a fight and not just a chat over a nice cup of tea and some frogspawn cupcakes?

Sad the witches couldn't stop their argument and just lived all together in the same town even though they were jealous and their magic turns bad.
