An OK book, but it just felt like things were missing. I like the idea of that only one witch can be in a town, I love that when another witch appears magic goes chaotic, the pets were cute, the art was fun, and I liked how there was a witch-fight, but I don't know. Why doesn't the first witch just get some kind of deed/protection so no one can live there? Why did the book end so open-ended? Why was nothing resolved? Why is it immediately a fight and not just a chat over a nice cup of tea and some frogspawn cupcakes?
