'Nu' is published on the occasion of 2007 Lyon Biennial, where Cao Fei contributes 'Nujiang River Project'.
'On a day in April 2006, Cao Fei, Ah Long, TOKILL and Fang Yuan were walking towards Yunnan province. Initially, Cao Fei was invited to make a feature film about the subject of "Yunnan". Nevertheless, the creation of the film reached an impasse due to various reasons in the process. All that remains is the script of "Nu" (Anger). However, the filmed sequences are reconstructed and included as part of the video installation "Nujiang River Project". The photographs featured in this book are taken from "Nujiang River Project".
