The stalker

The blurb gives most of the story.

The page quality of the book is bad, as well as the texture & picture is of low quality as well. Cover is simple & could have been better. Title is apt. Storyline is intriguing.
The book has many mistakes in many places. It needs drastic improvisation. Also, it requires thorough editing. Even the typesetting is pretty bad.

The Stalker is a psychological thriller that follows the life of Randhir Kamat,a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. He is the CEO of The USB and just as he's about to sign a very important contract to cement his future success,a series of vulgar tweets circulates and everything begins to crumble. He was being stalked by a crazy woman named Deepali. And at first it seemed harmless and he hoped that this matter will eventually be forgotten in a few days time. But it escalated and quickly spiral out of hands when his girlfriend started receiving death threats.

Inspector Suraj Pant was assigned to investigate the case. No sooner had he taken this case he realises that everything is not as simple as it seems. The line between correct and wrong is not that different. Because it's all a red herring.

This book has a great cast of characters and each of them are hiding some secret that has the potential to ruin their opponent's life as well as careers. A web of malice and deceits and the fact that you cannot possibly put your trust in any of these characters makes this book a five stars read.

I absolutely loved this book. It had everything that is required to make a thriller book successful and make an impact on reader's mind. The constant sense of creepy feeling that someone else is tracking your every step is quite spooky. The author writing is fantastic as always but this time it becomes more outstanding and honestly i would love to see this book been made into a movie.

⚫️ It’s fiction but we can also say that it’s of suspense thriller genre.

⚫️ Unique plot with so many twists and turns.

⚫️ Page turner.

⚫️ Unexpected end.

⚫️ There are numerous characters such as Rupali, Dipali, Randhir, Devendra, Mayank and Suraj so that makes story interesting

⚫️ I liked character of Rupali.

⚫️ Written in simple and easily understandable language yet very interesting.

⚫️ Can be made typical Bollywood masala movie from this book. I would love to watch that.

⚫️ Based on recent film industry. I liked inclusion of web series, Shahrukh and Red chillies.

⚫️ Good one.

A fast paced, quick read, action packed story is full of powerful emotions of love, hate, hurt, anger and revenge. Randhir Kamat, the owner of an media entertainment company pulls off a stunt for cheap overnight publicity but soon the table turns on him and his past comes chasing him to the extent of ruining everything he had. He was stalked all over the social media and soon the stalker seemed very close around him. It can be anyone a past lover, a present love interest, a friend or an opponent. The drama doesn't stop and at every turn there is a new twist in his life. How it all ends is very interesting to read.
THE COVER, a hoodie clad person whose face is not visible, is simple but impressive. This face can be of anyone as I said earlier. The cover goes well with the storyline.
THE TITLE, The Stalker, invokes interest and points towards the mystery that the book holds.
THE NARRATION is fast paced. At every turn there is a new twist and it keeps your imagination go wild. Though the narration could have been better. Some events and subplots are little vague, e.g why Vipin was behind the bars is left untold in the story.
THE LANGUAGE is simple and good, making it an easy read. Some places there are some major editing issues, names are misprint. The repeated use of proper nouns is a put off. Though I am not a Grammar Nazi, yet at times it irritates.
THE CHARACTERS were well written and well detailed. They sound relatable.
Overall, the book is a captivating read. It is not an out of the box story but good enough to hold your interest. The bends and twist make it a fascinating read.
A 3.5/5 stars for me.

The Stalker by Sandeep Sharma a beautifully woven mystry. As the title suggests, it is a story of a page 3 popular guy Randhir who gets stalked by a girl named Deepali on social media. Author has skilfully described the entire situation with precision. Our lives are way too much exposed due to social media and author has picked this sensitive and much needed topic in an amazingly power-packed story. Read more to find out how Randhir manages the situation when it's not just him, but his loved ones are on target too.

√Writing style is good, interesting and catchy.
√Plot is engrossing and easy to follow, I loved the whole mystery created by the author.
√Some parts were prolonged more than needed.
√Title and cover are good and totally relatable.
√Overall a good read.

This is a suspense crime thriller and I appreciate the author for keeping up the element of suspense till the end. Though I must admit that I had expected much more from the book. This was a simple written short novel with lots of twists and turns. It was really good for a one time read because of its short length and simple language. I completed it in just one sitting. I would recommend it to everyone who are looking for a short but interesting read. Totally worth the money.
Must try.

“THE STALKER” BY ‘SANDEEP SHARMA’

A book review by Payal Ghorpade
Date: May 9, 2019

But the bus left before I had a chance to board it. For the first time in my life, I understood the worth of 3 minutes. Damn! Those precious 3 minutes! I was supposed to travel a long journey from Nagpur to Kolhapur at the crack of dawn but like always my fate and I weren’t on equal terms. Well, no matter how much I try to grease the palm of my fate, it simply doesn’t favour my fathom. So, there I was left with no other choice but to kill time until I get into another scheduled bus three hours later and start my long journey. Hence, the Kindle app on my phone came to my rescue and I deliberately bought 3 books out of which one was “The Stalker” by ‘Sandeep Sharma.’
About the Author:
Sandeep Sharma is a well-known book reviewer who has reviewed more than 200 books. He is also the co-founder of ‘Author Paradise’ and ‘urbookmyreview.com’- a website that promotes reading Indian Authors. He has the bestselling novels like ‘The Coin’, ‘Let The Game Begin’, ‘Hey Dad! Meet My Mom’, ‘Algorithm Of The Future’ and ‘Just A Few Lies’ to his credits.
The Stalker is his sixth book published in January 2019 by Redgrab Books and Anybook Publication.

The Cover page:
The cover page depicting a person in a hoodie standing in the dark, denying to reveal his/her true identity is cognizant to the plot and the title of the novel. The cover page itself answers the purpose of the plot for the expectant readers by the author. It has been clearly sketched that this is a mystery novel and the readers should entirely focus on unleashing the identity of the stalker. The tagline, ‘Here, everyone’s a liar’ aroused my attention more than the mysterious man in the dark. I started digging in through the pages of the novel to unveil these lies while uncovering the mask of the hideous stalker.
Overall, the cover page justified the title, the plot, the setting and the mystery groping in the dark. I liked it!
Characters:
1)Randhir Kamat: co-owner of USB, handsome hunk in his early thirties, harsh, workaholic, true leader, hard worker, attention seeker, sex addict.
2)Rupali: event manager, partner in USB, beautiful, highly mature, professional, short sighted, love of Randhir.
3)Devendra: creative head of USB, Randhir’s friend.
4)Suraj Pant: Inspector in his late forties, man of a few words, keen observer, committed towards his duty.
5)Deepali: unhappy wife of Vipin, the girl who stalked Randhir on his social media.
6)Vipin: Deepali’s husband, corporate worker, workaholic.
7)Rajiv Dixit: Legal advisor of USB
8)Mayank Dev: CEO of Natank Company, professional rival of USB, career focused, childhood friend of Rupali.
9)Pankaj: personal assistant of the chief editor of the Times Daily Newspaper, college junior of Randhir and Devendra, opportunist, genius hacker.
10)Krishna: Suraj’s wife, a homemaker, responsible, understanding, mature, perfect planner.

Themes:
1)Theme of Popularity: In today’s world gaining popularity to earn profits is in vogue. Everyone wants to gain fame and attract publicity towards them. For the sake of this accomplishment, these people are ready to do everything by hook or crook. Randhir in the initial days of USB wanted his company to reach out and rule the internet. Hence he made a cheap plan for gaining popularity for his company, followed by his own fame in the league. The theme of popularity is well exposed in the novel.
2)Theme of Power and Money: With immense money follows power. Devendra wanted to hide truth from the media for time being. He knew anything is possible if he kept the right amount of money in the right hand of the right kind of person. This gives me a blur idea that in India, system is corrupted and bribe makes it easy. Randhir is a successful entrepreneur having enormous money and power, so that he could ask for a special inspector of his choice for dealing his case. Deepali being brainwashed by the stalker began to blackmail Randhir to earn money. The greed of money made her walk on the sinful path and eventually she lost everything.
Hence, with great power and extreme money the doors of sins are always welcoming oneself.
3)Theme of Revenge: In the phase of life, man nurture his brain child to gain success and when this success falls in somebody else’s feet , he just wanna destroy that person to take revenge. Devendra is no different. Randhir, keeping his blossoming career on the threshold decides to involve police to save his love but when he comes to know the truth, he also ensures that every single person involved must be admonished severely. The theme of revenge is the central soul of this novel since the beginning. Every character has harsh feelings for others and deep down in the corners of their heart they desperately seek revenge.
4)Theme of Love: Love is the universal theme of relations. People are ready to walk barefoot blind folded on tight rope to save their loved ones. Love encourages people to play tricks with each other. Randhir loves Rupali. So he is ready to risk everything for her. Rupali fights on behalf of Mayank with Randhir by working in his company. Krishna loves Suraj to the extent that she handles all the preparations of the wedding by herself. Deepali loves her husband Vipin and she blindly follows the instructions of the mysterious stalker to save her husband from the prison. The theme of Love is substantial on the novel.
5)Theme of loneliness: When people are lonely they tend to seek company to fulfil the desires of their hearts. Deepali was a lonely homemaker . She was unhappy in her married life. With no one to talk with her, listen her pleas or lend her a shoulder to cry on, She chose Randhir to fulfil her desires despite knowing everything about Randhir.

Plot:
Inspector Suraj Pant known for his professionalism and commitment towards his duties is appointed to solve the stalking case of Mr.Randhir Kamat, a famous name on page 3. Soon, the inspector finds that every character is hiding something from each other for the accomplishment of their dreams. Gradually, the case takes turns from been the stalking case to merely blackmailing case to a fraud case and at last a revenge case, ultimately unmasking the true identity of the mysterious mastermind.

My Review:
Well, the author did arrange a wonderful concoct of mystery, romance, revenge, fame and power together. The novel was fast paced , a page turner and I finished reading it in less than 2 hours. From almost the beginning , the plot was fairly clear. I particularly liked the dedication page of the novel. It was a unique way of expressing gratitude and dedication. The novel is an easy read with its lucid language. The flow of the story kept me glued till the end. Though, I might have enjoyed a little more development in the professional relations of Devendra and Randhir, the characters are well built. I felt, the story had a good start but it failed to maintain the rhythm till the end. Also, the misprinting in the names like ‘Suraj and Surya’, ‘Devendra and Dharmendra’ set me high on my nerves. It was irritating to continue reading the story with such misprinting. The novel needs a lot of good editing. The author tried to add too many background stories with the characters in the same chapter which spoilt the essense of the suspense. A character gets involved in a circumstance and there follows a background story pf the character in the same chapter where the circumstance prevailed. There is only one character who neither falls prey to any circumstance nor has been provided with any background story. This style of author’s writing clearly gives a hint of the mastermind. I was able to predict the stalker in the first few chapters itself. According to me, the last part of the story was irrational. It was certainly not able to cross the benchmark of a mystery novel. I mean when one has worked hard and executed one’s master plan brilliantly such that no one ever doubted the one then why would one confess everything infront of a police officer unasked without a single thought that this might serve as an evidence to get one caught in the crime. This is silly! The narration should have been better.
Although it is a quick read, I least enjoyed the book. I apologise.
Recommendation:
For the beginners who are looking for a fast paced light read suspense, this novel is for you. The ones who are fond of reading suspense and thrillers shouldn’t go for this.
Favourite Quotes:
1)Nothing will remain at rest and especially when you are dealing with people, you can’t rely on anyone. Everyone can behave in ‘n’ number of ways and hence it is necessary to be prepared with ‘n+1’ number of ways. If you really want to master your game, your plan, you just can’t rely on Plan A or on Plan B. You need to prepare the plan C,D,E,F,…. (needs a good deal of editing)
2)People should either be caressed or crushed. If you do them minor damage they will get their revenge; but if you cripple them there is nothing they can do. If you need to injure someone, do it in such a way that you do not have to fear their vengeance.
3)If you want to catch a thief, look for the sweat.
4)Party hard but only after you have worked hard.
5)Purpose… Existence…Reality… Everything is just a loophole where we- the common people-get stuck. Don’t think of what, why, how of the life, simply enjoy it.
6)Maybe… ‘Maybe’ is always the beginning and the end of anything that can’t be explained.
7)The journey from sanity to insanity takes no considerable effort. It’s all there,up in your head that can drive you to the other side of the fine line that a sane person will never cross.
8)If you want to make God laugh, just let him know your future plans.
9)Listening is a fine art and there’s nothing that can’t be learned about a person by simply listening to his words.
10) The life, from which we want to run away sometimes, prove to be the best life that we could actually live.
11)Sometimes, the things that we plan for our betterment becomes the worst possible things that could happen to us.
12) A perfect planner is the one who is unpredictable, just like life is!
13) If you want to see the extremity of a person, ignite fear in him.
14)Sometimes, it is better to accept the things that you have and let go of the things that you think you deserve because everyone gets what they deserve; not more, not less.

I would give this 5/10.

The Stalker by Sandeep Sharma is a suspense thriller with a good cover which initially grabs my attention and blurb is also made in an interesting way to choose it to read instantly.

The story surrounds around the triangular love story of Randhir, Rupali, and Mayank. Randhir, the co-owner of an upcoming company USB and Mayank, the co-owner of Natak company which is the rivalry company of USB. The common thing which connects each company is Rupali who work for both the companies.

The author had tried well enough to not reveal the suspense behind who's the real stalker and keep moving with unknotting the threads one by one but eventually, some of the threads lead a pathway to judge the real stalker, reveals the story and which lessened the interest to keep turning pages.

"Maybe, is always the beginning and the end of anything that can't be explained." This quote from the novel somehow attracts me more and amazes me of the author's narrating skill. A steady narration and lucid language been a great plus to novel along with diluted characterization.

Overall, The Stalker could be a more interesting story if it made a little unjudge-able story. Still a great effort by keeping the readers engaged till the last page. I would like to suggest the novel for beginners and persons looking for a light read. I don't how know much it satisfies other thriller readers because as the thriller I'm not much satisfied and I've read Sandeep Sharma's all novels by which I can clearly say it is an underperforming one.

Thriller and suspense are fun-reads, isn’t it? It makes you think and keeps you guessing who the culprit is. It compels you to analyse the hints and find out the culprit even before the author breaks it to you in the book. Well, I had a similar experience with The Stalker authored by Sandeep Sharma.

The plot revolves around Randhir Kamat, a well-known name in the entertainment industry. He is being stalked by a woman named Deepali on social media that puts him and his company in the limelight. He decides to use this event to his benefit, which worked well, almost. He assumes events are in control but suddenly he is dragged into bigger pit that puts lives of his and his girlfriend’s at risk. Turns out it is not (just) Deepali, but more people involved who have sworn to pull him down.

Does Randhir manages to come out clean or there’s more secrets that surface from his past, you will have to read the story to find out.
The story fast-paced, short and doesn’t really drags at any point. Characters are well-defined and story is to the point.

My ratings: 3 out of 5.

I received a review copy of the book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

"The Stalker" by Sandeep Sharma is a crime thriller set in the city of Delhi where Randhir Kamat, the protagonist of the story, a well known face in world of Internet entertainment industry is being stalked by a girl named Deepali.

The story is a very twisted plot as with its progression new aspects of truth are discovered. At first Randhir takes advantage of his stalker to get publicity for his venture USB, but then things take an ugly turn. In the search for truth, inspector Suraj is appointed for the case, who uses his observation skills very well to solve the case. And everyone involved in the case turns out to be a liar in one way or the other. Deepali, the stalker; Rupali, Randhir's girlfriend; Mayank, randhir's nemesis and Devendra, randhir's best friend, are in one way or the other responsible for the mastermind plan to take down Randhir.

Character description of protagonist is very good. Each character fits to their role perfectly. The dual faced character of Rupali and Devendra are really commendable. Narration of story is smooth and simple so that it's easy to understand. No jargons or technical terms are used to make reader uncomfortable.

Story shifts from crime to thriller to betrayal to revenge as it progresses. And can hook the reader for a one day read.

The cover however was disappointing to me as it could've been more interesting and attractive. Though it suits the title. The title too could've been more attractive and interesting to intrigue more readers.

All in all, "The Stalker" is a really good story which can be reread to enjoy the chase and thrill of catching the stalker.

"A perfect planner is the one who is unpredictable just like the life is!"

Stuffed with suspense, spread with mystery and sprinkled with humour, "The Stalker" by the best-selling author Sandeep Sharma takes the readers on a spine-chilling ride through a thrilling story where everyone's a liar.

When Randhir Kamat, the famous CEO of an entertainment company, was being stalked on social media by a girl named Deepali, he first took it casually and enjoyed the attention from media. But soon as things began to get ugly with his girlfriend receiving death threats, he had to keep everything on stake and involve the police. And when Inspector Suraj started his investigation and began digging for the case, he found too many questions with no answers and slowly discovered that "here's everyone is a liar".

The book begins with a funny yet spine-chilling quote by Niccolo Machiavelli that gives the readers a sharp thrill and a mild hint at what is to come next, at once spiking up the suspense.

A cute and funny "careful" note adores the book, along with equally beautiful acknowledgement and a sweet dedication.

The book is overloaded with humour and fun, and the best part is one never knows when to expect it. It's like one moment you are all serious and biting your nails in anxiety and the next you roll on the floor laughing.

Love, friendship, struggle, support and betrayal embrace the book and serves as a complete package of emotional turmoils besides the thrills and chills.

A blanket of suspense is spread all through the story that shrouds the readers in an envelope of mystery, keeping the thrill alive until the last line and gluing their eyes until they finish reading.

Few lines adorning the book give a peep into the psychological aspect of how the human mind works.

The book excels in throwing little surprises at the readers all the time, and hence one is always free to expect the unexpected.

Towards the climax, the story takes quite a fast pace, meticulously shifting from one scene to another in a quick succession so as to ensure the progress of the story as well as protect the suspense.

The author had done a commendable job playing with the characters who never fail to surprise the readers with their hidden qualities, just like the roles in a perfect suspense thriller. Each one is portrayed with the perfect dose of eloquence as well as mystery as is needed to keep up the suspense throughout.

The enticing title is no doubt apt and perfect as the entire story revolves around catching the stalker who not only stalks Randhir over social media but also starts stalking his friends and girlfriends, threatening to harm them if they dare cross her way.

The enchanting cover showcasing a mystical person against a dark background hiding the face behind a mysterious hood of a black jacket is quite at par with the title and hence the story.

Mysteriously thrilling and absolutely spine-chilling, "The Stalker" by Sandeep Sharma is an unputdownable suspense thriller that entralls its readers to the core, coming from the best-selling master storyteller from whom the readers can't escape.

"The life, from which we want to run away, sometimes, prove to be the best life that we could actually live."

REVIEW
The Stalker is a suspense thriller, again a masterpiece from famous author “Sandeep Sharma”. I just loved the book, the concept is so creative and interestingly crafted that you will be hooked to the book till the end.

Authors has plotted the story very well; all the characters contribute well in the story. I like inspector Suraj Pant’s role a lot. It has been written with high level of maturity. Randhir Kamat, a prominent figure in entertainment industry wanted to shine high, but he was trapped under the web created by himself. He was stalked by a girl named Deepali. He took it lightly initially, but things started getting difficult. Seriously it is an unpredictable story, whom to blame, whom to not, seems tough. He struggled to get out but turns and twists of the story got him stuck till climax, and all characters were so brainy, everyone had secrets to turn the table for the other character.
I was amazed to see the sequence of chapters, and how the things were revealed at the right time. I would highly recommend all to read this ride of thriller and enjoy. This story is full on entertainment and amusement for the reader. Kudos to the author for his mastermind.
I haven’t had the experience of reading anything related to page 3 people or public figures, so I was excited when I started reading this book, and it proved to be the amazing one.

What I love about the book
I love the story concept, till the climax you cannot imagine that who is the real culprit. It is a total adventurous ride. The imagination of story is supremely awesome. The Author’s writing style is modern and its makes the book more creative.

What I find little inappropriate
The quality of pages should be good. (this feedback is for publisher)

Conclusion
The plot is highly creative. The story is very different from other thrillers. It is a learning in this book that Social media has the power to gain you fame and defame you as well. One more learning is you just can’t trust anyone these days. Please read and recommend your friends to read.

The story is about love, betrayal, conspiracy. A very well plotted and well written story, not considering any grammar or misspells into account.
The story is about two competing, growing companies. Randhir is a co-owner of an entertainment company USB, a very aggressive and successful person. Devendra was his partner, best friend and the creative head of the company. Rupali, Randhir’s love and the unofficial manager of everything in USB. They are growing good and are planning to grab a very big life changing deal.
Mayank is CEO of another company, in the same field, Natak Company. Rival of USB and also looking for making his mark in the industry. While things seem to be going in good direction for USB, a stalker starts bothering Randhir. He takes the help of police to find the person and close the case. Vipin, is imprisoned for his attack on Randhir. Vipin is Deepali’s husband; and Deepali is Randhir’s college time affair.
But it was not all, there is more than that which the police and Randhir think is. Randhir’s affair floats onto media, damaging the reputation of Randhir, USB and his love relationship with Rupali. Things start turning more when Suraj, the inspector starts looking deeper into the case.
The case takes multiple turns, a series of double crossing, cheatings, conspiracy float up. Suraj, who hates his job for multiple reasons, cracks through the case to catch the mastermind behind all the game.
The author did have a grip on the story till the end, just that the ending could have been made a little more attractive that it actually is, this to me is the give-away of the book. Suraj is a very cool character and sounds like the right person in the right job, his analysis is simple and are case solving. I, personally, liked the character of Suraj.
The characterization is good, did like the way each of the character is built in the story. Author sure did his best on this, appreciate it.
Verdict:
A book is a good read for fiction lovers. Does feel like page turning, however a vivid reader of thrillers can possibly guess on the happenings in the book. Author sure has a good plot, could have made it a little more thrilling than this, still this book is fine.

THE STAKLKER by @sandeeplochansharma .
.
👾Greatly remarked by Niccolo Machiavelli, " People should either be caressed or crushed. If you do them minor damage they will get their revenge; but if you cripple them there is nothing they can do. If you need to injure someone, do it in such a way that you do not have to fear their vengeance."

➡️The language is subtle and easy to comprehend.
➡️While reading, one would keep on judging the culprit but , no wonder , everytime something else would come up and you would change your judgement.
➡️At the end of every chapter, the writer tries to talk about few life related things, which is quite relatable.

The book reached me in a really bad condition. The pages were yellow-ish and of low quality as well as folded at points. The cover could have been better, more intriguing, more suitable to the title. It doesn’t suit the tone of the story in my opinion.

The book is so short that I completed it in less than 3 hours. My main issue with short stories are that there’s not enough time for the characters and/or the plot to develop but that didn’t happen with this one which made me somewhat relieved.

Now moving on to the story the book started off really well and I actually got hooked to it after reading the first few pages. Like mentioned in the blurb the protagonist Randhir was stalked by Deepali. Even though he brushes it off at first, he soon realizes that he shouldn’t have let it slip easily because the stalking soon turns much more dangerous not just for him but also for the people around him.

Officer Suraj is assigned the case and as soon as he starts the investigation, he along with the readers realize that there is much more going on in the story than what catches the eye at first. There are a lot of characters, each one of them equally intriguing, none of them are actually trustworthy which makes the whole book even more exciting.

I don’t wanna spoil anything so I will keep this short and to the point, the narration keeps you on edge which I think is important when reading a mystery thriller. If it doesn’t make you bite your nail in anticipation, then I don’t think it’s a good one but this one surely is.

The author has done a wonderful job with the characterization and plot development, like I said earlier, my main problem with short stories is always the same but this one is an exception as the build up to the climax was thrilling.

The fast pace and easy language compliments the plot really well.

I did have a little problem with the grammar but it can be improved with editing. Also the book had some errors and misprints but other than that I’m satisfied with this one.

"Everyone gets what they deserve; not more, not less"

Author: Sandeep Sharma

Publisher: Redgrab Books & Anybooks

Pages: 144

Randhir Kamat is the CEO of Un-social Bastards(USB), which is the next big thing in the field of entertainment in Youtube. Randhir has completed his MBA from IIM and started the youtube channel producing short films along with his friend Devendra. Everything is going well and they are about to sign a contract with Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies for their next web series when a certain turn of events lead to the destruction of USB. Randhir starts getting vulgar and offensive messages from a stalker named Deepali who seems to be obsessed with Randhir. Though initially he ignores thinking that he will gain some publicity but the matter goes out of control when his girlfriend Rupali starts getting death threats. His nemesis Mayank from Natak Company tries to take full advantage of the situation but unfortunately becomes trapped in the circle of threats. One after another incident leads Randhir to approach the police. Soon various photos are leaked which shatters Randhir’s reputation. When the truth starts to unfold it leaves u shocked and disturbed. Is Deepali really the culprit? Or is someone else the mastermind behind USB’s fall?

The book is an intriguing read with a gripping plot and a storyline full of suspense. The language used is easy and can be finished in a single sitting. Despite being a short and quick read the story is impactful and keeps you guessing till the end. The writing style is beautiful and the way the author has weaves the suspense is really commendable. You may feel you know the culprit but the climax will leave you awestruck. But as a regular reader of mystery and thriller I kind of guessed who was behind all the chaos. Overall I loved the book and I highly recommend it to the lovers of mystery out there.

"Sometimes, it is better to accept the things that you have and let go of the things that you think you deserve because everyone gets what they deserve; not more, not less."

As the name suggests, this book is all about stalker and stalking. The story revolves around Randhir Kamat, the main character of the book. Je was famous for his regular mentions on page no 3 of a newspaper. He was being stalked by a girl named Deepali on social media. He was actually enjoying this stalking thing as he was gaining attention from media. But situations became ugly when his girlfriend, Rupali, started receiving death threats. Randhir involved police in this and soon found that 'HERE EVERYONE IS A LIER'.
.
Whome to trust?
Whome to blame?
Who was the stalker?
What happened to Rupali and Randhir?
Who was Deepali?

I know you are curious to know the answers. So better pick up the book and read. It's amazing.

Firstly I would like to thank Sandeep for giving me a chance to read such a mind thrilling novel. As always this novel was amazing, no doubt.
The title is just so attention seeker and the cover perfectly suits it. Author's name is in bolder than the title, yeah I liked it, because readers read books by his name only.
When I read the prologue, I found it kinda similar with that of 'The coin'. As soon as I proceeded in the story, it amazed me at every point. There are so many things, one can learn from this story. Which makes the book a worth read. One will not only get entertained, but will learn new thing at every point. We actually need to learn a lot of real things in this fake world. Social media is just a mess, which can take you to the heights of success, on the other it can destroy every bit of you.
Enough of characters are there in the story. And everyone was just amazing. Each and everyone was just mastermind in their own ways. I'm impressed by Krishna (Wife of inspector Suraj). All the events of the story were perfectly and magnificently linked to each other.
A good planner is one who is unpredictable just like life. (A line from this book only.) And here Sandeep proved to be the best mastermind.

Sandeep's vocabulary is amazing and his style of writing just let the readers turn the pages. Some printing mistakes are there, some conflict of names, which may be confusing, which I believe Sandeep will take care in next addition.

I must say this book is a masterpiece and the bestest of all other books of Sandeep. It would not amaze me if a film would be made on this story.

I had heard a lot about the book before, hence when I got a chance to get my hands on it I was eager to read it. I like the cover design really. It gives out that mysterious stalker vibes which really goes well with the title and plot of the book.

Personally, I felt the story was somewhat similar to the Stranger Series by Novoneel Chakraborty. The overall stalker vibe later on catching up with the mysterious revelations all of suddenly. It was quite a fast paced read which is totally the types of books I like to read. It maintained the mystery vibe by preserving and not skipping on the details that much. Honestly, there's not much that i can talk about it without giving up the spoilers. To enjoy the story you have to read and find out.

The story and the way plot was narrated was really enjoyable. One thing that irked me a lot was the really bad printing quality. The book is price fairly cheap which is a good thing for the ones who don't want to spend too much on books as they are getting costlier each day. But here it felt that the printing was really cheaped out in every possible way. The pages were almost tissue thin, many were already torn from edges. The printing was inclined in several pages. The cover cutting had rough edges. Overall it was not at all pleasing. There were really dumb typos all over, like the silly ones at times your auto correct would make while you type your social media post or message.

If you really wanna read the story then I'd suggest to go for the book but get the Kindle version if you are okay with reading E-Books. Still its a good read on the content department if you can ignore the printing thing it won't bother you.

Book Title: The Stalker
Author:  Sandeep Singh
Format: Paperback

Book Title:
The title of the book ' The Stalker ' is very frightening and dark.

Book Cover:
The cover image of the book is an abstract image of a person male or female wearing a hoodie and standing near a dark corner. This perfectly explains the title.

Plot:
What is the consequence when a threat that is there before the eyes are ignored?  How much a person has to pay for the mistake he rendered knowingly yet risked?

The story is about a successful man who is a big shot in the entertainment industry and obviously is liked by many people and especially women.  He is being followed on every medium of social media by many people and one of them happens to be a dangerous fan, Rupali. She starts stalking him and the overdose of her actions create wrath in everyone's life related to that man. Randhir, the media frenzy person gets into trouble when he plans to make the best from the worst he is facing. Deepali being his lady love somehow gets sensitive about her relationship with him, the stalker being one of the reason.

What I like:
1. The mystery content
2. The flow of the story

What I didn't like:
1. Too many characters with rhyming names created confusion
2. Too much-twisted story at some point felt irritating.

Characters:
Though there are many characters, each character plays an important role.

Narration:
Good and smooth narration is found.

Language & Grammar:
Easy language is found in the story.

My Final Verdict:
A one-time read.

Book Title: 3/5
Book Cover: 3/5
Plot: 3/5
Characters: 3/5
Narration: 3/5
Language & Grammar: 3/5
Final Rating: 3/5

The Stalker by Sandeep Sharma is a crime thriller, where the main Protagonists Randhir Kamat, the CEO of Un-Social-Bastards(USB) who was very well known in the world of internet entertainment industry was being stalked on social media by a girl named Deepali.

Initially, he enjoyed being stalked and being on the headlines of the newspaper and digital media but later days it turned out worst when Rupali started receiving the death threats. One fine day he decided to go for police for investigations as the matter had come on Rupali, his girlfriend to whom he loves to the utmost. The story has many twists and fast-paced and the characters were very well developed.

The story revolves around the six major characters namely Randhir, Deepali, Rupali, Suraj, Devendra, and Mayank. Where Suraj was the inspector appointed for the case and Mayank, rivalry opposition who comes to know every plan inside the USB, through Rupali, who used to be the girlfriend of Mayank too at the same time, who runs Natak Company. And Devendra, best friend of Randhir and content writer of USB.

Story shifts from crime to thriller to betrayal and finally to revenge as the story progresses. It's very much creative and interesting and readers can hook themselves to read in one go.

To know more about the role played by Rupali and Devendra, I request everyone of you to read "The Stalker". You will really enjoy reading it and can have a lot of fun on the other side. I highly recommend this book to read and it would be great if the author could make it into web series.

If You Happen To Think That The Title Says It All, Then You Seriously Need To Think Again Because There Is Lot More To This Crime & Suspense Thriller That Is Definitely Going To Keep You On The Very Edge Of Your Seat.
But Then The Title Is Just The Very First Later Because Almost All The Prime Characters From Randhir, Deepali, To Rupali, Mayank, Devendra & Vipin All Of Them Have Multi-Layered Personalities That Reveal A New Facet At Every Twist & Turn That Simply Leaves The Reader Gaping In Surprise.
What Makes This Crime Thriller So Enjoyable Is That Nothing About This Book Is Predictable..So The Readers Are Excited From The Very Start To The Finish.
Even When You Think That You Have Zeroed In On The Culprit You Would Feel At A Loss To Figure Out The Motive Behind Who Is Doing What & Why? What Makes The Characters So Absolutely Relatable Is The Fact That There Is No Dividing Line Between The Good & The Bad Simply Because Almost Every Single Character, Irrespective Of Who They Are Walks On The Thin Line Of Crime Before They Exposed.
In This Suspense Thriller There Are No Black Or White Characters Because All Of Them Are Painted With A Different Shade Of Grey.
‘The Stalker’ Is Not Just A Gripping Tale Alone But Also A Mirror Of Our Present Day Society And How Low Ambitious & Greedy People Are Willing To Stoop For Insta Success And Quick Easy Money Because The Means Hardly Matter As Long As The Goal Is Grabbed By Hook Or By Crook.
The Only Think That Stands Out Like A Sore Thumb In This Perfect Suspense Crime Thriller Is The Poor Editing And Worse Proofreading Thats Holds Back This Book By SANDEEP SHARMA From Being An Absolutely Perfect Read!!

This book reminded me of the downfall of an online based entertainment unit last year during the metoo movement which happened because of the mistakes done by some of the members in their past. It flashes in the media and internet and there goes the beautifully created empire by them to ruins. This is also similar with a lot more twists and turns. Randhir Kamat was a big name which was often mentioned in the page 3. His venture The Un-social Bastards (USB) was making big in the online platform with good creative content and web series. Natak Company is their competitor on the same platform. Everything begins with tweets and messages on social media platform by a girl accusing Randhir . His initial reluctance on this matter worsens the condition bringing down everybody's life to risk.

It shows us how the hunger for success may make us do the unwanted and it doesn't stop there but only increases with time.It is difficult to achieve success, even more difficult to maintain it. But what is not difficult is to bring it down to ruins. Just one incident from the past and it may collapse the whole empire.

Interesting fact of the book is we can't trust any of the characters. Everybody seems mysterious in their own way. And that makes us glued to the book to even more. It shows us the ugly side of the showbiz wherein anybody can go any extent for his/her gain. It is not just one person narrating the incidents but each character has their own say.Language is simple and understandable. Title is apt. Recommended!!!

Randhir Kamat is the CEO of USB (Un-social Bastards), one of the top companies in the field of entertainment. Randhir’s life appears to be settled, his company is at the top, he has a lovely girlfriend Rupali and a loyal friend and colleague Devendra.
However, Randhir has a stalker: Deepali. She stalks him incessantly on social media and professes her love for him. At first, Randhir enjoys the attention. But when the publicity affects his business and also his girlfriend Rupali, Randhir finally decides to go to the police to put an end to the stalking.
The matter is entrusted to Inspector Suraj Pant. When Inspector Suraj is assigned the case, it is in the middle of preparations for his daughter’s wedding. However, he investigates the matter with diligence.
Several questions arise in the course of his investigation. Who is Deepali in reality and why is she stalking Randhir? Is Randhir as innocent as he pretends to be? What is the actual connection between Rupali and Mayank, the head of Natak Company, one of the biggest competitors of USB?
The author has managed to spin an intricate tale of double cross, betrayal and suspense and has brought the story to an extremely unexpected conclusion. The story is only marred by bad grammar, especially involving the use of the past tense. The book would have benefitted greatly with better editing and proof reading.
However, ‘The Stalker’ is a quick and interesting read for lovers of that genre, i.e. suspense thrillers.

Book review : The Stalker by Sandeep Sharma

The story is about Randhir Kamat, CEO of a marketing web company which produces web series. He is a name famous for his regular mentions on page 3. He falls into trouble which is caused due to his own past faults. Randhir uses the unwanted attention of media for the publicity of his company but eventually he gets trapped in getting blackmailed by a stranger. Soon things went becoming ugly when his girlfriend, Rupali, started receiving death threats. As we get to know that the stranger is a girl named, Deepali who was stalking him. But things start to get more complicated when police finds out that Deepali was Randhir's secret from past.

This is the second book from Sandeep Sharma that I've read. It had same vibes and writing style. Yet the story line in this book was different. The author's attitude towards the subject felt a little disappointing. It didn't make me feel real. The setting of the story is in Mumbai for obvious reasons that the entertainment industry is the hub for and all the action goes around there. I wanted the author to let some of characters be sufficiently motivated by what happens to them in the story. Though these characters frequently changed as the story progresses, hence keeping up with the thrill and pace it was great with the dynamics of the story.
.
.
I would give it a three star for the fact being it is a thriller and the story kept me conjecture about the conclusion.
