Six years ago, Oliver fell hard for an Alpha who was supposed to be his forever. He’d always want a happily ever after of his own, but he’d never expected to find it at eighteen.
With a promise that they’d love each other until the end of time, Oliver jumped in head first and came out on the other side with a shattered heart and a baby on the way.
A second chance…
When his Omega ghosted him with no explanation, Philip tried to get on with his life. Unfortunately, love seemed to only strike once for him, so he remained alone.
When Oliver comes back into his life, Philip demands answers. Starting with, whose child is that?
Just as questions are answered and Philip and Oliver begin to trust again, Oliver uncovers secrets that could rip the town apart and put their son in danger.

Dashboard Lights is 27K sweet mpreg romance. It is book one of the series Millerstown Moments. It contains mpreg, a secret baby, and a guaranteed Happy Ever After
Jena began writing in January of 2013 as a New Year's Resolution--and so far she has stuck to it!
She lives in Michigan. By day she works as a web developer, and at night she writes. Born and raised on a farm, she spends most of her free time outdoors, playing in the garden, or riding her horses. She also helps run the family dairy farm.
This was book 1 in the "Millerstown Moments"Omega Oliver Stone (I found this name funny) gave his heart away to Alpha Philip Miller when he was 18 he found out that he was pregnant Phillips father who is the mayor of the town tears them apart with lies. Six years later Philip is a fireman and he is going through the motions of life his father wants him to run for mayor. Oliver and his son move back to town after his grandmother dies. Oliver has did ok for himself and his son. When these two run into each at the store they both still have feelings for one another. When Philip finds out he has a son he can't believe his father did what he did to keep them apart. This was a good read and a good start to a new series to me. I have read this author before. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book on this series.
At best, this can only be described as mediocre. The plot is ridiculous and overdone. If it was well written, I could excuse both of those. As it stands, the writing is clumsy and juvenile. On top of that, it could do with a round of editing.
Omega Oliver Stone and alpha Philip Miller fell in love as teens, when Oliver becomes pregnant Philip's father lies and Oliver leaves. Six years later Oliver moves back to town and Philip discovers he has a son. There isn't anything groundbreaking or earth shattering about this story. What it is though, is a sweet second chance love story with some good characters and an enjoyable plot.
. . . É uma leitura F(. . .), desculpe pela palavra, eu amei 🖤. . . Oliver e Philip foram separados pela atitude de alguém egoísta que não se importou com as consequências, e seis anos depois, a vida resolveu juntar esse casal e garantir uma família linda para eles. Adorei uma leitura rápida e fofo. . . . Boa Leitura 😘
From the opening Prologue I knew I had selected a winner. I've read & enjoyed earlier works by Jena Wade, but I can see how wonderful her writing ability has progressed. She captivated me right away and never let me go. Wow Jena! This was exactly the type of story I was looking forward to reading next. I am just 30% into the book and am so glad this is a series. I don't want it to end!
I truly enjoy reading about strong Omegas who take on seemingly impossible odds and meet the challenges head-on. Overcoming those odds and actually end up thriving without an Alpha. But when the Alpha enters or re-enters the picture something enchanting happens. The relationship between them can be explosive or a slow-burn. Or careful tentative reaching out because of a shattered heart from the past.
Omegas helping each other is demonstrated in this book. Best friends running their own business and leaning on each other. Youngsters abound as there is a Day Care center. But there are also a couple of very special little boys who are best friends.
Trying to keep your heart guarded against heartbreak again is a full-time job. Keeping your shields up is exhausting along with caring for a child and starting a new business. Something many single parents don't do is say positive things about the child's other parent. Usually the anger and bitterness bleeds into their descriptions of their former lovers. Wanting to raise a balanced child with positive images of Alpha and Omega relationships. Ollie makes it a point to tell his son that his father was a good man.
Suddenly an Alpha Dad: OMG! Does he want to be a Dad? How will he treat his sudden child? How will the child react to his sudden Alpha Dad? All this takes place in a small town with all of the small-town positives and negatives.
I really really enjoyed this second chance and returning home book. I am beyond eager to read the rest of the series. This book is a great beginning with wonderful as well as villainous characters and a final chance at a HEA.
Loved this. This is a second-chance, secret baby romance novella between omega Oliver Stone and alpha Philip Miller. The two were determined to get married once upon a time, and then Philip’s shitbag father manipulated them apart and Oliver had to leave town. Six years later, he’s back to try to build a new life for himself and his young son. He doesn’t expect to be let back into Philip’s life, and Philip certainly doesn’t expect anything that happens, but time and misunderstanding still hasn’t managed to dull the feelings they have for each other, so it isn’t long before they’re together again in every way that matters. This was a sweet story with little angst between the main couple. I really appreciated that the misunderstanding was sorted out quickly and painlessly, and that the focus then became about the two men rebuilding their relationship and Philip getting to know the son he never knew he had. And then near the end it starts turning a bit towards the suspenseful side when Philip’s father Ian Miller, who also happens to be the town mayor, starts causing some shit (on that note, I really hope that school secretary ended up getting fired, because what the fuck) and some old secrets about his misdeeds start coming to light. This was all very sweet and I liked Oliver and Philip coming back together and creating a new family for their son (and only because the reason they ended up separated in the first place wasn’t because of any maliciousness on either of their parts), and how naturally it all happened. Their son Christopher was adorable and his interactions with Philip were absolutely heartwarming. There were a few errors in the writing, but that didn’t detract at all from my enjoyment of the story. I’m excited to see what the rest of the series will bring.
Wow I want expecting that much drama in one short story but that was fun to read.
Character breakdown;
Oliver: I liked him loved how he did the single parenting thing well. I also liked that he wasn't blinded to the wrong doings in the town.
Philip: I loved the enthusiasm the alpha had but wanted to smack the man for not wanting to believe what his father was capable of. You mean you don't believe that the man that broke you and your omega up then ran him out of town could steal money from the town? Really?
Overall the book was entertaining to read and thoroughly enjoyable.
An alpha and omega separate but fund their way back to each other eventually.
The story open with love struck alpha and omega deciding that this night they would consumate their relationship. Then, the alpha's Dad interfers and separates them with lies. This story is how they end back together, a lot of love, a small bit of angst, and the inevitable getyikg back together. The story is a lovely light, a heart-warming read, just what you need in between meatier high angst stories.
Oliver and Philip find each other when they are still teenagers. Then someone goes to a lot of effort to break the two apart and Philip is unaware that his Omega is out there with his son. Fast forward almost six years and the two meet again and Philip finds out about his son. What happens next is full of love, heat, aggravation, and fear. I cannot wait for more stories in this world.
Thoroughly enjoyed this cute series starter. Alphas/ omegas, sweet kids, small town life, and the much needed villain. Yup, all based covered, including the HEA! Enjoy!
Felt so sorry for Oliver, but was so proud that he didn't let situation ruin his life! Poor Philip didn't know what hit him because he was left out in the cold. This was pretty good!!
Oliver and Philip. Great set of characters. What a great read. Enjoyed and was entertained by the story. MM MPREG. Looking forwrd to read bk 2 need Kayden and Turner's story.
Well written with interesting characters. This second chance story also includes an interfering father who seems a little demented in his determination to have his way.
