The Foreign Worker

Rate this book
Having heard and promised about the riches in foreign land other than that of his own, Amar Chand Thakuri signed a contract to work in Malaysia. Upon reaching the new place, he learnt that life was not as straightforward as he had thought. Adjusting to his new less than perfect environment, Amar had to face the harsh realities of working life in Malaysia. A chance encounter with his long lost brother in law led him to uncover a terrible truth and made him determine to help him return back to Nepal. The unintended circumstances caused him to start questioning about morality and humanity, in which he had to confront the unthinkable. Desperate and in despair, he was forced to choose between his own conscience and his safety, ultimately realizing at the end that the only thing that matters was the people he loves.
