Short & Sweet with Just a Touch of Spice!

Even though this was a short story, it would make a great series if it was ever turned into one. I really love how Jaymin Eve writes her own twist on mythology creatures in the modern age. The characters are unique & captivating even in this short story. It amazes me how she builds this feeling of a new world though you’re just seeing one convention of supernatural beings. She touches on many different creatures without losing focus of the plot. Then she throws in just the right amount of mystery & suspense to keep you hooked to the end; while making you wish it wouldn’t stop. I really wish this was made into a longer series, but will enjoy what little bit we were given.

so i stumbled upon a free copy of this book on my instagram, and the cover definitely lured me in. i downloaded it and I didn't know what to expect. i expected it to be a little longer so when i finished it so quickly i was shocked, it was written pretty well, but i wasn't attached to the characters at all, if there was a little more background to their relationship i would have liked it a lot more, because it seemed so random, there was no reason for them to be so obsessed with each-other and in 'love' especially after they had only met once, where they got intimate. Their entire relationship seemed like it was dependant on sex, and im almost certain that if that aspect was taken away from the relationship, it would have been much more bland and unbearable. I had no emotional attachment to her sister either so when she was caught by the red haired vampire i was like "well ok then." I get that its a novella so its short and theres isn't as much time to develop the characters, but it could have been done better. I haven't read anything else by this author so I can't compare this to any of her other works, but this book to be is a 3/5 stars because even though the relationship between characters was bland, the characters themselves were interesting and had so much potential, the story itself had a lot of potential too.

She possess all of the stellar qualities that Ms. Eve pours into her heroines. Axel.... who didn't read this and give a cheer and mental fist bump to him!? And oh my stars!!! Any story that mentions Loki is gonna be a favorite ♡♡♡ Loved that creative twist!! Thank you Ms. Eve for once again entertaining me and creating a uniquely magical tale that totally gave me all the feels ♡♡♡♡

Jaymin Eve es una de mis autoras favoritas de romance paranormal, pero esta novela no me llegó, fue muy apresurada, por supuesto sabía que era una Novella, pero debido a esto no podemos conocer a los personajes y es triste, porque la primicia del libro y los personajes parecen interesantes. Incluso la quimica de los personajes principales no es tan fuerte, solo saltan a esta relación sexual apresurada y no se sienten como "mates" no tiene esa profundidad que normalmente se pueden encontrar en las parejas de esta autora.

I haven’t read any other books by this author, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Wasn’t even sure how clean it would be. Definitely for ages 18+ for sex and language. Thought the beginning was a drag, but it was introducing all the different supernaturals at the hotel. I knew it had to be building up to sex. Yep. The ending was probably the coolest. Some great action. So there was a bit of plot in this short story. Not too bad.

This was an ok book. It was nice and short. It didn’t have much of a plot until the end, but it was only a novella. Still, it was well written, my only complaint being that the author had a tendency to repeat some points and phrases more than once, but other than that, it was a good little read and I hope more comes if it.

This book was so good.
I was able to download it for free thanks to a promotion the author was having. I’m so glad I did!
It had mermaids, werewolves, vampires, and more (but those are the main three in the story). It was sexy and intriguing.
The main couple were cute, even if Axel is a bit overpowered. I enjoyed them together.
Would recommend.

This novella was absolutely wonderful! I could definitely read more about this group of characters. I was pulled in by the beautiful imagery that Jaymin weaved throughout her words. The different creatures living in harmony at this hotel that caters to the the supernatural was such a cool concept. Highly recommend this read!

This is one of only two standalones that Jaymin has written and I loved it. This book is a kind of star-crossed lovers. They meet, feel the attraction but both deny it. Then the FMC is captured and guess who comes to her rescue? Yup you got it.in the spirit of not giving too much away, you really must read this book.

Honestly I love all of Jaymin Eves work!!! And this novella did not disappoint me. Had all the right elements I like. Abit of action nice romance alil bit of sexy time. And a sexy main guy. It was quick and easy to read. World building was fast but I didn’t mind at all. All up very enjoyed it.

Such a perfect novella! It was a quick read, but fantastic! I wish I could read a whole series about Lettie and Axel because I just loved their characters!! Definitely recommend this one. Well crafted and told in a limited number of pages!

Loved this! First off the cover is absolutely gorgeous and secondly I really wish this was so much longer… but it was a super fun short read! I love any books that have do so with sirens, I find them to be such interesting creatures.

I highly recommend reading this book!
