“Full-throttle urban paranormal sexy romance/thriller with a manly, alpha-male ensemble cast of vampires, angels, soul-stealers, and paramilitary men!”
LOST ANGELES
The Sexiest Man Alive.
Xaine Capello lives a life of infamy: fast cars, loose women, and hard rock. For him, falling in love is a weekend gig, so when Lourdes Chase arrives on the scene with her big, blue eyes and clever mouth, it’s all this hot rock star can do to keep his lips-- and fangs!-- to himself.
The girl with a dark past, and the voice of an angel.
Lourdes Chase just wants answers, and she follows the trail all the way to the one place she knows she’ll find them: Scion. Determined to solve a year-old mystery that still haunts her, she takes a chance audition at the hottest immortal nightclub in Los Angeles, never expecting to run up against the bad-boy of her dreams.
The killer who torments them both.
Sparks fly and sex sells, rocketing the rock star pair to near-instant superstar status, but when little blond girls start turning up dead on his property, Xaine becomes the prime suspect. With Lourdes as his only alibi, he’s taking no chances, and as it becomes obvious that the murders are no coincidence, it’s up to Xaine and his newest opening act to catch the killer and clear his name before Lourdes becomes the next target.
LOOSE CANON
Rule Number One: Don’t get attached.
Trick St. John clawed his way out of the worst gutters of London to occupy the most prestigious piece of real estate in Beverly Hills. It’s a luxe lifestyle, custom-tailored to his every whim, inherently dangerous, and deliberately devoid of romantic entanglements. But when a group of vampire revolutionaries called the Legacy start attacking his friends and trying to replicate his work, Trick can no longer afford to ignore the one person he’d most like to avoid.
Rule Number Two: Don’t f-ck where you sleep.
On the run from a sordid past, Tes Nicolae finds herself in the the unenviable position of being Trick’s gag birthday gift… just another of his one-hit wonders. That first time might have been the only time, but it nets her a regular blood doll gig at the Friday Night parties, and Trick’s formidable shadow seems like the perfect place to hide. A red-gloved stranger has other ideas, though, stealing her away to a hotel suite where she learns there’s absolutely nothing for her on the other side of death: not heaven, not hell.
Rule Number Three: Get the job done.
Suddenly, it seems that every dark force in Los Angeles is in the market for Tes’s blood, and Trick’s the only thing standing between her and certain death. With the looming apocalypse on the horizon, two street rats born centuries apart will have to break down the barriers between science and faith, human and immortal, the very essence of Light and Dark if they want to survive the coming dawn.

I really enjoyed the world created for these books. The characters banter and interactions was written to be witty and intelligent all rolled into one. I think that X & Lo were my favorites out of them all. I just wish that the stories had a bit more of an ending to wrap up, at first I thought it might happen thru the others but they are stories of other characters that go over their lives during alot of the same things that had happened already just from a different perspective and different interactions. They still made for a good read all in all.
Really love this series... It has a really interesting, different take on the paranormal, excellent characters and world building!!! I would give it a 5 but sometimes there is so much going on conversation(s) and events get convoluted and then sometimes just lead to sex... although that is steamy and well-written.
Took me to the end of first book to get interested in it
Okay this is my honest opinion. I didnt like the book. I didnt feel anything for characters until the end on first book. The writing didnt keep me emerged in the book. I also only finished the first book and have no urge to read further. Im disappointed i wanted to love this book.
