Truth Eternal – The Heartfulness Way Series

Have you ever wondered about the nature of the soul? And how your heart, mind, physical body and soul are connected? And what happens to the soul at the time of death? Have you wondered about the origin of consciousness? And how it manifests in minerals, plants, animals and human beings? In this philosophical treasure, Lalaji shares some profound insights on these topics, as well as on the creation of the universe, the evolution of human beings, and the pinnacle of human potential. This is yogic science at its most profound, a masterpiece of our time, by one of the great visionaries of the 19th and 20th century, Ram Chandra of Fatehgarh.

TRUTH ETERNALis a masterpiece of our time. It illuminates the science of existence itself: shedding new light on consciousness, the mind, the soul, and on Vedic wisdom and our relationship with the Cosmos.
This book beautifully describes the origins of the universe and our place in it, challenging our beliefs and ushering in a new era of spiritual enquiry.

This book put me into deep silence when I really read it after multiple 'reads'. Each word, sentence and page is itself takes one to deeper dimensions. My suggestion to readers who want to benefit from this is a) you may have to read the same chapter multiple times, do so to get past the 'terminologies' and words in the first few reads and be open and accept the intuition that comes during these reads. b)accept our 'ignorance' on various topics and once own level in practice of spirituality c) meditate, get into a state of absorption and a prayerful attitude d) with the thought that may the real meaning of what the author intended be revealed as I read.
Some key points that I liked from this are:
1) there is trinity in everything - 'trigunatmak'
2) Page 49-50: "Not knowing a thing is ignorance. Knowing is the function of the mind, which is in the middle, and is a combined state. ..Spirit and matter - both are devoid of the attribute of knowing...The mind alone can pierce through it and is capable of knowing them. ..You go into the state of deep sleep every day. What do you know there? Nothing! This is the daily experience, but on waking up from deep sleep, the mind is reminded of its existence. The reason is that the mind takes with it the particular mixed influences in the form of impressions. There is no doubt that it merges in the soul, but it conveys its impressions on return. And what is that impression? Awareness of unconsciousness, a sense of senselessness, and knowledge of ignorance! What does it say excepting this? As and it would explaint to you of it's own accord. One's own personal experience, though it is bare knowledge, is a thousand times better than book knowledge or hearsay knowledge."

This book breaks the code of Vedas and Lalaji put everything into really easy to understanding words. This book is not meant to be read once but many times since there are so many hidden gems inside. I hope you practice any spiritual path and read this book. It will be the more relatable approach. Enjoy!
