I made the mistake of reading this book. I had gotten it free and so I was willing to take a chance. I am so sorry that I did as the characters were vomit worthy.

I disliked the heroine, Connie and hated the Finn (I cannot call him a hero. Just can't). Finn was a total coward & manwhore and Connie was a pathetic doormat who kept throwing herself at Finn no matter how many times he screwed her, ran and then screwed OW. Finn was a zero as opposed to a hero. Connie had zero self respect and zero pride. If I did not dislike her so much I would feel sorry for her. The story made me feel sick and a little dirty after reading it.

SPOILERS INCLUDED BELOW
Finn, age 19 years old, took Connie's v-card when she was 16 years old. Then pushed her away by continuing his manwhore ways. Five years pass. She pines for him. He taps anything that moves in a supposed attempt to forget her. (Poor guy.) She of course stays celibate hoping that one day he will want her again for 5 years. Of course, no other man interests her. At one point she lives with Finn and gets to watch him with 2 other women and countless others. He makes sure she sees him with OW. In fact, he admits to flaunting it.

Then she, pathetic little girl that she is, offers herself on a platter to him again. He eventually takes her up on it by screwing her. After having sex with her he rejects her yet again, telling her that she is not enough woman for him. He leaves her, going out of the country with her brother Ruben for around 6 months. While out of the county he continues to screw anything that moves. She finally sleeps with one other man.

Finn returns and she throws herself at Finn yet again because she still loves him. Other man is never mentioned again as she ditches him I believe after doing sexual stuff with Finn. After they physical he rejects her yet again, screwing OW. Eventually around 5 years later he caves to her seduction techniques and he knocks her up because she supposedly "forgets" to consistently take a pill. Sure honey right. You wanted to trap the SOB. Finn finds out and runs away.

Why did Finn keep pushing her away even though he claimed to pine over her, which was total bs? Mainly because he is a pussy and she was his second choice. He chose his best friend, her brother Ruben, would never approved of them being together, over her. Ruben being a hypocritical jackass did not want Connie with any man. Ruben made sure he scared anyone away who showed interest while at the same time screwing OW in their shared apartment with Finn, where Connie not only heard Finn having sex with OW but heard her brother did it too. Also supposedly Finn has a family history of an illness and is afraid he will pass it on or that she will leave him.

I would never believe that Finn would be faithful. He screwed around her for 10 years and anytime things got difficult he ran away. It would only take him being under pressure to go back to tapping anything he can.

I honestly felt disgusted after reading it and despite brushing my teeth had a bad taste in my mouth that would not go away.

I AM SO SICK OF READING ABOUT PATHETIC & PINING heroines who stay in a deep freeze while the heroes screw anything that moves in a supposed attempt to get over them. TO ME THIS IS NOT ROMANTIC. It is a turn off as opposed to a turn on and I have reached my limit. You could not pay me to read anymore books in this series, as this so called love story is vomit worthy for me.

Thanks for allowing me to purge. Finally, something that makes me feel better after reading this distasteful story.

Title: Connie
Author: Tracy Lorraine

4 unexpected stars

The unofficial 4th book of the series, but truly the 2nd and a half instalment of the Angel series, Connie needs to be read one after the other to get the best enjoyment out of this one, being the first books that i’ve read by Tracy Lorraine, I was impressed by these emotional stories and even more so by the time I got to Connie. Taking off where the book Emma ended, we finally get Connie and Fin’s story. For so long they’ve tried to hide how they felt for one another and when they get their chance, secrets might tear them apart.

4 breath taking dreams

I had impatiently waited for this couple’s story ever since I met them. My curiosity was piqued in trying to figure out just what they have in their secrets and how it will affect their relationship and their loved ones. I was captivated from the very beginning and absolutely enjoyed Tracy Lorraine’s newest release and will look forward to more from her in the future!

Good lord this was awful

This was the worst book that I have read in a long long time. I wish there were negative stars as punishment for the time that I cannot get back. It ended up being one of my rare DNFs. I just couldn’t stomach it anymore. From the start everything was stilted and I found it annoying. There was so much introspective monologging that I almost fell asleep this book is told in flashbacks from the present to the last ten years. Spoiler ahead... so he took her virginity when’s she was 16, is supposedly in love with her forever. Yet every single flashback mentions how he was also screwing other women. EVEEY SINGLE ONE. He was never faithful to her. The all went out for her 21st birthday, he starts making out with a girl in front of her like normal and was planning to bring the girl back to her brothers house to screw in (knowing she was staying there). The brother gets in a fight, they are kicked out of the club. He drops his piece for the night, ends up coming on to her and they have sec again. She reveals she hasn’t been with anyone else. He drops her again after they have sex. A few years go buy they start sleeping together again. He has to leave for a 6 month trip with her brother. He gives her a line about liking girls with more experience. He goes there and admittedly spends the 6 months screwing bikini clad women”. So so far every single scene we are reminded of all the women is screwing. And both he and the heroine point out about how her has thrown the women in her face and brought them back to houses where she was at to screw them where she can hear. I’ve read some awful heroes, but this one is the absolute worst! So anyway, when they leave she is so devastated that she goes out with a random guy and screws him to get experience and figure out her sexuality etc. at this point I have to check out. I was only continuing to see how he would try to make up for all of his bull crap and how much she would make him beg. But I cannot stand I’m a book when a guy says that the gurl is too innocent and she goes out (changing herself) screwing guys with the ultimate goal being goood enough for the guy. I can’t stand them changing themselves for the guy at all, but suddenly screwing around just takes it way to far. I cannot for the life of me understand why authors write this God awful stuff. And to throw it in out faces over and over? I couldn’t like this and write a good review if I was paid. It’s that bad.

Connie by Tracy Lorraine a truly amazing five-star read. This is the fifth book in the Angel series as Molly the first book comes with part one and two and Abbi is book 1.5, then you have Emma book 2, and finally Connie at book 2.5. Tracy Lorraine writes with such passion and grit that you can literary see the characters jumping off the page, each time I have finished a book in this series, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series Lilly and find out what secrets she is hiding. This book does contain scenes of a sexual nature and is suitable for mature readers only.
Connie is such an amazing character she is so much stronger than she first realises. Connie has hidden her true feelings for her brother’s best friend Fin for years, as she didn’t want to upset her brother Ryan. But now she finds herself with a best friend that makes her come out of herself, her business is doing great guns, a family who love her and supports her no matter what. When Connie finds herself alone and pregnant, she knows she will be fine no matter what happens. The only problem is she knows something is missing, and isn’t sure if she wants to fight for it.
When it comes to Fin, I cannot believe that Tracey Lorraine has done the unthinkable, I hated Finlay Willis, with a passion as he is the best friend of Ryan and was a total man douche. He didn’t deserve anyone as nice as Connie, but do you know what this book has revealed hidden depths to him that I didn’t think were possible. Once you see past Jack the lad persona and realise why he has behaved in such a manner and the things he has felt he had to hide, for reasons of pride and just plain stupidity, you can’t help but feel his pain, I hated that I started to really like him. I have never had such a change of heart over a character, and felt so conflicted about how I was now feeling about them.
Lilly can’t come soon enough, I can’t wait for it to arrive, this series just goes from strength to strength!!

Connie is the story of Ruben's younger sister. We see how protective he is of his little sister especially from his best friend Fin.

This is a true past to present story. It is told in dual points of view with each of the main characters reminiscing about the past as they deal with present day situations.
Connie fights for the man she loves until she just can't anymore. Fin knows Connie's better off without him but his heart won't stop loving her.

There are secrets between these two and my heart broke for the struggles they faced. I loved Connie and Fin as individuals but more so as a couple. I am so happy to have their story and can't wait for the next installment.

I strongly recommend Connie be read as part of this series and not as a standalone. Characters from the other books make appearances and they are reference throughout.

Connie (Angel #2.5) by Tracy Lorriane is the fifth book in the Angel series. This story can be read as a stand alone but it certainly helps to have read the other four books to get to know the background and characters. Once again this author has created a story with characters that you can relate to and will pull at your heartstrings. This story is about what happens when your real feelings are exposed. This story is romance, will make you cry and maybe even angry in parts. Find out what happens to this character when real feelings are exposed!

Connie is a young woman who has been in love with her brother's best friend forever. She knows first hand what happens when you act on those types of feelings and it is bad. Her actions have been to keep all her feeling locked up but trying not to act on them have been the hardest. She is a strong woman who is successful and has been a great friend, are things about to change for her? What will she do when she finds out that she is pregnant? Will she be able to keep it to herself? Will it change things for her and him?

Fin is a man who has gotten good at hiding secrets so hiding his real feelings should be easy for him, right? All his friends think they know him but do they really? Will his secrets get exposed and what will happen if they do? There one secret he has a hard time keeping and that is her. He can't stay away from her. She is his one weakness and powerless to stop himself. What will happen when he finds out that she is having his baby? Will that make a difference to how he feels?

Connie and Fin's relationship is one that has been a secret. What will happen when that secret is exposed? Will someone get hurt? They can't seem to put each other behind them, but do they really have to this time? Will fate finally let them be together forever this time? These two will pull you into their story and take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. You will find yourself pulling for them to be together. Will he finally allow himself to be loved? Has she finally found her happily ever after? Or will they push everyone away when they need them the most?

This is my fifth story by Tracy Lorriane and she hasn't let me down yet. This is one of my favorite series, she had me from the first story on! I cannot wait for the next story to come out! Tracy lives in Cotswold village in England with her husband and her dog. They are currently awaiting their first child. This story will have you from the first page on. You will totally lose time reading this story and no problems with reading it in one sitting. This story will have you turning page after page just wanting to see what will happen. I highly suggest this story as I know you will love turning page after page in this romance.

Connie : Angel, #2.5 by Tracy Lorraine
5/5 stars ( So deserves more than just 5 stars, the whole entire series does!)

First let me say… Connie can be read as standalone. But I highly suggest you read the whole series, starting with Molly first. You truly need to read all the books in proper order to understand the characters AND the events that led up to Connie. Or if you don't want to read all of them, you must at least start off with Emma first. Which ends in a cliffhanger and then Connie follow directly right after that.

I'm not sure what is is… but Tracy Lorraine has a way with writing that pulls you in. Makes you feel sooo many different emotions and feelings. She pulls at your heartstrings in every single book!!

And trust me when I say this... I'm not exaggerating in the slightest, when I do the whole ugly cry while reading this book (and series. ) You ladies, know what I mean by ugly cry too... those heart wrenching sobs; that leave you breathless, mascara running down your face and snot dripping out of your nose. Yes, I know it's not a pretty site. But good grief, these books make you feel so darn much!!

Connie is so beautifully well written. With deep, soul burning characters. Who are so full of life and love. You will laugh, cry, get angry and even mourn right along with them. You will every single they feel. It makes you feel like you are a character in the book too. I adore books like that!

Connie and Fin are two broken souls drawn together, like a moth to a flame. It started when they were both teenagers, she being 16 and him being 18. Even now, years later… they are still drawn together. But it's forbidden… an unspoken rule amongst friends. Fin is Connie’s brother, Ruben’s best friend since childhood.

But their connection is undeniable. They keep getting thrown together. But no matter how much deny it, their love runs deep. Regardless of how scared they are. Secrets from the past come to light… can they figure out their love for one another is true and so rare , before it's too late?

I can not say enough wonderful things about these books. I truly can not get enough of these characters. And I can NOT wait to see what's in store for the next book!!

Outstanding job, Tracy Lorraine!! I love and adore your characters and each and every book!! Until your next book… Xxx

Connie (Angel 2.5) by Tracy Lorraine
5 star review
Connie by Tracy Lorraine is the fifth book in the Angel Series. I have read every book in this series so far and this story did not disappoint! It’s everything I’ve come to expect from this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think to fully appreciate the story you do need to read the previous books in the series but if you haven’t then you definitely have to read Emma, which is the book before this one as Connie continues on from where that one finished. It is a relatively short story but its straight into the action on page one and doesn’t stop until the very end. As it is a continuation story the characters are already well developed we just finally get to read Connie and Fin’s story and what a story it is! It was full of passion, secrets and very emotional times for the characters involved.
Connie has always loved one person and that just happens to be the one person who she can’t have. Fin – her one true love and her brothers best friend. Connie keeps her feelings locked up tight as she knows first-hand what acting on those feelings will do.
Fin is a master at hiding his pain and secrets and his friends think they know everything about him – but he has a few things that nobody knows! He also has one weakness and he knows that she’s something that he can’t allow himself to have, he knows the consequences but he's powerless to stop.
The connection between Connie and Fin was pretty intense. They couldn’t help but give into their mutual attraction to each other and they really did love each other but both put the feelings of others before their own. I liked both of the characters and having read about them in Emma’s story I was really looking forward to reading theirs too. For me I think my favourite characters was Fin. I know he did and said some pretty stupid things to Connie but the secret that he had been hiding from his friends for many years broke my heart once it was revealed. I think it definitely showed a different side to him.
As with all of the other books in this series this story was really well written, had amazing characters in it and I thought that Connie was a fantastic instalment to this already amazing series by Tracy Lorraine. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series which will be Lilly’s story!

****4 Stars****
“Connie” (The Angel Series #2.5) by Tracy Lorraine

Tracy Lorraine has written another nice addition to the Angel Series with the book “Connie.” I give the book 4 stars. The story follows Connie and Fin and the ins and outs of their relationship over the years. Since Fin has grown up as being almost a part of Connie’s family, with him being best friends with her overprotective brother, there are definitely risks involved in them going beyond friendship. Fin has his own struggles, including a father with deteriorating health, that he is afraid to divulge and is trying to face on his own, so the thought of losing his “family” when he needs the support is something he just can't take a chance on. Therefore he must continue to push Connie away and fight his true feelings for her. The book shows the unstoppable passion and desire between the two of them and describes the situations and people that have stood in the way of them being together. It also shows how Connie’s recently discovered pregnancy forces everyone to finally fess up and deal with what has been denied up until this point. Her brother Ruben finally sees that there's more to Connie and Fin than Fin just using her for a good time, and their friendship is finally put to the test.

The story alternates between Fin and Connie’s points of view and through both of them thinking back to their past interactions the author helps the reader understand exactly what led them to their present day situation. The story has passion and desire with some well-written and well described steamy interactions. Through the use of both Connie and Fin’s characters recalling their times together over the last several years, the reader is able to see their growth and development as well as their change in maturity level, while seeing their desire for one another stay the same unstoppable force. Fin’s character has tried to fight his feelings and desires due to worrying about the consequences him and Connie being together could lead to, but he finally sees that he can't deny things any longer and must let Connie and her family help him face his difficulties. Ruben and Fin’s friendship and brotherhood will definitely be changing as well as Connie and Fin’s lives. I would recommend this to all Tracy Lorraine fans. It's another great book in the Angel Series and I'm left looking forward to the next installment.

Connie (Angel, #2.5) by Tracy Lorraine
4 stars

I started with Connie and it definitely started from where a cliffhanger left off. It took me a bit to piece together the characters relationships. I'll go back and read the series from the beginning the way the author recommended (hands head in shame). *Readers Note I would advise starting the Angel series from the beginning to fully understand the characters in this book as well as the events that have led up to what you will read in Connie but at a minimum Emma needs to have been read first as this book directly follows on from its cliff-hanger.*

For as short as this story is it packs a lot of detail from past history of characters and how it plays into their current connection and hopes for the future. This book has me yelling at Connie to just walk away, the next minute I'm praying she doesn't give up. Then I wanted to strangle her brother Ruben and tell him to mind his own business. Fin...well Fin I finally understand by the end of the book, but I still wanted him to get his act together before he puts those he loves through anymore heartache. He has a lifetime of secrets and fears that he needs to learn to trust those that care about him to help him through these feelings.

...“I can’t believe you’re doing this to me again. I thought things were different this time. I thought this was it, after everything you’ve put me through.”...”I’ve wasted enough of my life, love and tears on you. I won’t put myself through it anymore. This is it though, you make this decision now and I won’t come crawling back like the pathetic little girl that I’ve been before. I deserve more than this, Fin. I deserve to be treated properly. I deserve to be loved.”

Will Connie have the strength to stick to her vow to move forward without Fin? Will Fin realize everything he is giving up before it's too late to be apart of their lives? Will Fin’s past continue to weigh him down or will he finally trust others and let the weight of his past go so he can pursue his own happiness? While this book continued from a cliffhanger it will end in just the same way….

description

Connie was a great 5 star read.

We start off right in the action where Emma left off. Connie’s brother has discovered her secret and connects the dots when he sees her with Fin, his best friend. He see’s red and attacks Fin and puts him in the hospital.

While in the hospital Fin pretty much dismisses Connie and tells her they can’t be together. He completely destroys her with his words. How will he react when he learns about her pregnancy?
We discover that this isn’t the first time these two have connected. They have quite the history and it’s not the first time big brother has exploded on his best friend, leaving Connie with a broken heart. Fin has been fighting his attraction to Connie for years.

You aren’t what I want. I want someone...someone more mature, who knows themselves. I want a woman, not a girl.

There is so much more to this great story. Fin has some secrets of his own that he has been hiding for years. Connie is a very strong woman with her own business. When she learns about Fins secret she is shocked. Will she be able to accept his secrets? Can these two get their HEA?
I enjoyed the ending and I’m super excited to read Lily’s story. Tracy Lorraine has pulled me right in with this series and I am addicted. I highly suggest that you read them in order so 1-click and get started today.

Connie is a strong young woman with a successful business, an amazing family, and a great best friend. But there seems to be something missing. No matter what she does or what she is doing he seems to be close in her thoughts. Connie has first hand experience on what happens when you act on your true feelings does to her and everyone she knows. So what does she do, hide her true feelings for years. With her recent pregnancy she has discovered that that's not always easy, keeping everything bottled up.
Fin is hiding a lot of secrets, his friends they know the real him and everything about him. That is the furthest thing from the truth anyone could get. Fin is a master at hiding his pain. His one weakness is something he shouldn't be allowing himself to have. He knows the possible consequences for his actions but he’s powerless to stop himself until the actions of his best friend forces his hand.

This series is amazing. I highly recommend reading the others so you can keep track of everything. I loved this story because it's like a taboo thing, you know your best friends little sister isn't allowed. You do see Connie in Emma's story. She is Rubens younger sister. You see the shy Connie, the broken hearted Connie, and the Connie that everyone knew she should become. The cliffhanger that left you needing to know what happened when she told of her pregnancy had me reading this book and just pushing through all my emotions. Connie and Fin’s relationship is so hot and cold it's a complete mess. At one point i want to strangle Fin for hurting Connie. Their mixed emotions started to give me whiplash, and throw in a pregnancy, yeah what an emotional ride. Fin has these struggles and secrets of his own that i feel make you give him a pass for most everything he does to Connie. When everything comes out into the open it all comes together and you can't help but scream, FINALLY. I look forward to more in this series and so many more by this author.

Connie (Angel #2.5)
By: Tracy Lorraine
5 out of 5 stars

The story Connie (Angel #2.5) by Tracy Lorraine is a contemporary romance book. It is the next story in the Angel series and is truly amazing. It is highly suggested to read Emma before this book as there are characters and cross-over events which would make reading just this book a bit confusing. Don’t worry, you will love Emma just as much as this story. Connie is such a wonderful character. She runs her own business and is a strong woman. She does have one weakness, Fin. She has always known that she loves him, however their on again, off again relationship has taken a toll. Fin comes off as a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, the constant player. If people only knew the secrets that his act was covering over. He always tells himself that his relationship with Connie is wrong, even if he is head over heels in love with her. He finds that he just can’t control himself when she is around, even though threatened and beaten up by her brother. Will these two ever get their HEA?

I liked how this story revealed the entire relationship of Connie and Fin from when it began ten years ago to the present day in flashbacks. The entire story is told from both Connie and Fin’s POV. I read it all in one sitting as I just couldn’t put I down. I must admit that I had a hard time warming up to Fin as his character kept breaking Connie’s heart. What I learned is that you can judge a person by their actions however there may be reasons behind their actions that you don’t know about. Give people the benefit of the doubt. If you love romance books this is one that you don’t want to miss. Wonderful characters and a touching storyline make this a book I highly recommend. This story does have adult language and hot and heavy love scenes. It would be for those 18 years or older.

Connie has been crushing on Fin since she was a teenager. She has had a taste of him over the years, but never truly been able to call him her man. She has always strugged with the back and forth, but was willing to take what she could, and deal with the consequences when he leaves her, yet again. That is, until present day, when she finds she in pregnant with his baby. Although she is a strong independent woman, she doesnt want to have to raise the baby alone.
Fin is Connie's brothers best friend. He has known her since they were children, and has made it a habit to hook up with her, and then leave her high and dry. He has a secret he has been keeping, and that is easier to do, if he doesnt let anyone get close. Plus, lets face it, her brother would kill him if he found them together (trust me, its come close before). No matter how much he tells himself to stay away, he just cant do it. Connie has always had a pull on him, and he cannot resist her. Can he open up enough to let Connie in, and stand up to her brother? Or will they both forever be alone and apart?
Tracy Lorraine has done it again! Connie is the next book in the Angel series, and should be read following Emma. To get the full background of all the characters involved, and just beause the books are amazing, you should just read the entire series! Once again, Lorraine has kept me wanting to read on and on, and then so mad when the book ends in another cliff hanger! I loved the story and the characters, as well as the way it is told. It alternates views back and forth between Fin and Connie, and tells their current story, as well as their history. You would think all the jumping around would be hard to read, but its not! Lorraine achieves this flawlessly, once again. Total 5 star book for me, and cant wait for Lilly's story.

At Emma and Ruben’s engagement party a fight broke out between Ruben and Fun, a fight that Ruben started that he shouldn’t have. Ruben is furious when he finds out his sister Connie and Fin are seeing each other again. Ruben had already told Fin to stay away from his sister as previously Fin had not had a good outcome with women and Ruben was not going to see his sister hurt by his best friend. Worse was to come as the fight really started over Ruben finding out that Connie was pregnant to Fin. Fin had stood there and took the beating from Ruben there was no way he was going to hit his best friend. As a result, Finn was taken to the hospital via ambulance and was kept in so they could monitor him in case of concussion.

When Fin woke up he saw the woman he loved asleep by his bed and he know what he needs to do. When Connie wakes up he tells her that he can’t do this anymore and he ends his relationship with Connie. Once again hearing this Connie gets angry ad storms out of his hospital room. Fin doesn’t want to do this but he knows he must if he is to stop Connie and Ruben’s relationship from being destroyed. He also hopes by ending this again in the future he can also get back his best friend. Fin is all but destroyed when he sees Connie upset and walking away from him. He hates seeing her upset but he needed to do this. After all it was for the best, right?

After hearing Fin say he needed to end their relationship again Connie was sure if she was angry with herself for being stupid, angry with Fin for ending their relationship and not standing up for them with Ruben, or with Ruben for butting in where he wasn’t wanted or needed. What Connie knew for sure was that he had a baby that needed her and a baby Fin knew nothing about.

Tracy Lorraine has done it again! Connie was AMAZING! This series just keeps getting better and better! I'm not sure how she does it, but with every new book that comes out, I find myself saying they were my favorite couple. But Connie and Finn hold such a special place in my heart. I absolutely adore them. Connie is another 5 star read by Tracy Lorraine.

In Connie we have Connie who has been hiding her feelings for Fin for years now. She is an amazing person, she has a successful business, and has amazing friends and family. She knows that she can't act on her feelings, she's done it before and she can't do it again. But how do you keep denying yourself something you want? Especially when it's your brother's best friend. So she tries to best to bottle up her feelings. Just when she thinks she's got it under control, life steps in and springs a life changing surprise on her. She's pregnant..

Fin has his laid back, womanizer kind of persona about him. But what's that saying, about never judging a book by it's cover? That completely describes Fin. He hides everything from his friends, not letting them catch on the all the pain and struggles he's dealing with. He's always considered Connie to be his weakness, and he can't risk her finding out his secrets. But what happens when everyone finds out what he's been hiding? Will he push everyone away? Can these two finally find happiness together?

This book was absolutely amazing, I am in love with this series. When Fin's secret finally comes out, my heart breaks for him. Even though he had said and done some things to Connie that I hated, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him afterwards. This is a one-click! I would recommend this book to everyone!! I can't wait to see what Tracy Lorraine is up to next!

Okay, okay yes I did it again. I was even warned but I did not head the warning. ( ) I read Connie without reading any of the previous books in this series. As you know when you come into the series late you miss a lot of things. So of course I was trying to play catch up. If you plan on reading this series, please do not be like me; Read from the very first book Molly.

Connie has been hiding her feelings for years. She doesn't want to hurt her family or cause any trouble for her family members. Connie continues to hide her true feelings for years. Connie tries to move forward with her life and her feelings; she has a successful family and a wonderful family but she still feels a void.

Fin, he is the master at secrets; whats one more? Fin has always found his best friends sister attractive. As the years go by and she comes into her womanhood she only becomes more beautiful to him. He can’t have her though he has promised his best friend he would stay away from her. He knows that she deserves better than what he has to offer her. One taste, that’s all he wants and maybe he will be able to get her out of his system.

He gets his taste and then gets caught. Fin is beyond scared that his life as he has known it will forever be changed. That is not a risk he is willing to take, he already has too much going on his life. This leaves Connie in a world of pain but he made his decisions now she just has to abide by them.

This was my first read by Tracy Lorraine, it was a quick read but I really enjoyed it. Connie leaves us on a cliff hanger. I was like what, oh no. I have to go back and read the first couple books and I can not wait to see what will happen in the next book.

Connie (Angel #2.5) by Tracy Lorraine
5 out of 5 stars

I have read every book in the Angel series and I have loved them all. We met Connie and Fin in Emma’s book and this story picks up where Emma’s book ended.
Connie and Fin have an unusual relationship they grew up together and Fin is Connie’s brother Rubens best friend. They have had feelings for each other since they were both young.

Connie is a strong young woman. She has a successful business, an amazing family and now a great best friend. There is something missing though and no matter what she does she can’t put him behind her.
Throughout the years they tried fighting their feelings by moving on. Unfortunately their feelings for one another are too strong .I loved the hidden interactions between Fin and Connie they were epic.

Fin’s jack the lad persona is helping him to hide a lot of secrets. His friends think they know all there is to know about him but they are very wrong. Fin has become the master at hiding his pain and struggles. Fin has one weakness though, and she is getting harder and harder to resist and he knows she’s something he shouldn’t be allowing himself to have. He knows the possible consequences for his actions but he’s powerless to stop himself until the actions of his best friend forces his hand.
Can Connie move past the secrets that Fin has kept to himself? Will Fin Let Connie in enough for her to help him? Can their love overcome the obstacles in their way? Will they have their happily ever after? You really need to read this story to find out but I highly recommend you start with the first book in this series…..
I can’t wait for Lily’s story!!!!!

Connie, The Angel Series Book 2.5, by Tracy Lorraine. This was most definitely a 5 star read for me. This was a short book with a whole lot inside of it. It gave us Fin and Connie from the very first time that brought them together. It showed us pretty much everything that these two have endured to get to where they are now. The ups and downs and the struggles that they have gone through.
Connie has been in love with Fin since she can remember. When she turned 16, that was when Fin finally let on that he saw her, actually saw her and that he wanted her. He had to make a choice between his best friend since they were babies and Connie. Too bad he chose his friend and tossed Connie aside. When he promised Ruben, that he would stay away from her, he actually thought that it would be easy. Little did he know that over the years he would break that promise a lot!!
Since Fin can remember, he has wanted Connie, but is his want and need for her strong enough to risk losing his best friend and his family that is just like his own?
When Ruben finds out that Connie is not only with Fin but also pregnant by him, he loses it. He beats the daylights out of Fin. Yes, Fin loves her but he decides the best thing would be to let her go. When he tells her to just leave, she is totally destroyed, but she has something bigger to worry about. The baby growing inside her. Fin pushed her away before she was able to tell him.
Will they be able to find their way back to each other or will they have a little help?
I was so excited for this book!!!! I have loved every single book in the series and I am so looking forward to the next book…..

I have loved every book in this new series and this latest addition is no exception. This is Connie and Fin’s story. They have a history, shes had a thing for him since they were young and hes tried to hide his feelings for her as shes his best friends sister. But the pull is too strong between them and no matter how hard they try they cant resist being together taking stolen moments when they can.Fin knows he has to end it and so he walks away on more than one occasion leaving Connie heartbroken but this time hes left her alone to cope with an unplanned baby he doesn’t know about.Fin has demons of his own he hides his life from the people around him, they don’t know the struggles he has with his father and caring for him. When he can no longer cope with his home situation and finds out about Connies pregnancy Fin realises its time for changes but will these changes bring them together or drive them further apart?
I loved this hot sexy read. Its not just about that though its about friendship, love and family, its an emotional read in places and you can feel the turmoil Fin goes through.Fin is another to add to my list of sexy men Tracy has created. The chemistry between them is red hot,at times I wanted to slap him…I wanted him to stand up for what he wanted but understood why he didn’t because of the friendship he had with Ruben. We also get to read about the characters from previous books which is great and we are introduced to Lily…looking forward to her story!
Another great read from Tracy

Connie has always had this undeniable connection with Fin who is her brothers best friend which makes the connection they have forbidden because it goes against the unspoken rules between friend. They have been drawn to each other since Connie was sixteen and Fin was eighteen they cant help but be drawn together even when they try and resist each other . Years later the connection is still there but even hotter but the rules are still there like a wall between them. They try to deny there feelings towards each other cause they know people will get hurt especially Connie’s brother Ruben. How long can they deny themselves they have tried so hard but they keep get thrown back together.
I recommend reading the angel series in order to really appreciate them and to understand the characters backgrounds but you can read this standalone if you choose to. Wow Connie is beautifully written is not very long but still backs a punch its full of emotions one minute I’m smiling the next I’m crying like full on sobbing my heart out ,then I’m angry and then I’m laughing out loud which gets me funny looks when I’m reading on the bus haha, it really keeps you on your toes with this storyline . I have enjoyed every book so far in the angel series everyone has held me captivated and everyone has kept me coming back for more . Wonderful job once again Tracy Lorraine you have written another amazing outstanding book I have loved every storyline and every character I’ve never been disappointed cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.

“Connie” is book 2.5 in the Angel series by Tracy Lorraine and directly picks up at the cliffhanger that left readers breathless at the end of “Emma.”

Connie’s life is going the way she planned, sort of. She has a successful business, great friends and lives life on her own terms. Until an evening with a man she could never resist changes everything.

Fin appears to be an easy-going guy, but his carefree persona hides secrets that he would do anything to protect. He feels that he can never have Connie without it destroying what he most relies on. Will Fin be able to trust in what he feels or will he lose everyone he loves forever?

Once again, the author transports me to the topsy-turvy world that I fell in love with. The characters are written as everyday people and the struggles they deal with are believable. Connie and Fin have to face changes that will alter everything they know and the author mixes in drama without going overboard. The reader finds out their history through a series of flashbacks and learns that these two have a lot of history. I kept wondering why Connie kept going back to Fin, but it became clearer as I read on. I wish these two had a full-length novel to explore their history further, but it is still great that the author takes the time to develop the secondary characters.

This short novel is not a standalone, in my opinion, and should be read in order of the series to get the best understanding of the characters. At the very least, read “Emma” first. You’ll be hooked.

TRACY LORRAINE WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD!!
Connie is book 2.5 in The Angel Series and it is as good as the previous books!
Connie has loved Fin for as long as she can remember. He is her brothers best friend and they see her as the little girl that follows them around and annoys them. Connie has started to lose the little girl look and is quite proud of her female assets. Now that she is older maybe she will finally get Fins attention.
Fin is Ruben’s best friend who has this annoying little sister, but Fin will never be mean to her because their family has all but become his family, and he would not want to hurt them in any way. Ruben little sister Connie has developed into quite the looker and Fin notices all the changes in her and likes what he sees. Ruben warns Fin to keep his hands off his little sister but will it be a promise Fin can keep?
Fin has been able to keep his home life a secret for years. No one knows what he goes through but because of his pride and stubbornness he will not ask for help. He is determined to take care of what little family he has left on his own.
Will Connie walk away keeping the secret she has been holding in from Fin? Will the relationship between Ruben and Fin ever be the same?
Tracy Lorraine has done it again! I loved this story Connie and Fin are the perfect couple. Tracy Lorraine knows how to rock your world and you don’t even see it coming! Can’t wait for the next book. I would highly recommend this series but start from the beginning with Molly.

Connie
The Angel Series Book 2.5
Tracy Lorraine
☆☆☆☆☆
Part of the Angel Series. Must be read in order. Romance between friends and family, blood does not always make a loving family.

Connie has always hid her true feelings, not only from her friends, but her family as well. Her brother is overly protective of her, to the extent of beating guys off. Poor Connie does not have a chance as long as her brother is around. As no Man Is good enough for her. She has found out she is pregnant, now she has to come clean on who the father is.

Ruben is Connie’s overly protective brother. Nobody is good enough for his sister. He has scared every guy crazy enough to attempt dating Connie. When he finds out she is pregnant, he has a fit. But when he finds out who the father is, he looses his temper. Can Ruben see the true feelings of others for the sake of his sister?

Fin is best friends with Connie s brother. He also has self doubt, along with deep secrets. While he is more family than blood. He must make some hard choices and let people into his life. Fin is stuck on what he should do and what he wants to do. Should he follow his heart or his head?

Tracy Lorraine has taken her story to great heights. Her ability to make you laugh on one page, and cry on the next is incredible. I must say this story took me down a different road. I had to keep reading once I got started. A real page turner, loaded with action, angst and romance. Looking forward to see where her story takes us next.

Connie (Angel #2.5) by Tracy Lorraine is Connie’s story. You met her in Emma and now it’s Connie’s turn. Connie has been in love with her brother’s best friend ever since she can remember. Fin is the same way but her brother is overly protective and doesn’t think he is good enough for her. When over the years, they get together, Fin breaks Connie’s heart over and over. When Connie finds out she is pregnant, her brother does to and causes a very dramatic scene. When all the dust settles and some of it clears, Connie and Fin are back together. What Connie didn’t know is that Fin tries to hid his family from everyone because he doesn’t want anyone to know. Connie tells him that it is his family and his friends would have helped him and will help him no matter what it is or was.

Tracy Lorraine has done it again with Connie. Everyone deserves to find love and a happily ever after and she takes normal everyday characters that do just that. Ms. Lorraine is a very creative author who will have you laughing, crying, and yelling at the characters all at once. The way she has created a story that starts with the first book and keeps going is amazing. You not only get introduced to new characters, but the others are there as well. Tracy Lorraine is one of the most down to earth writers I have had the pleasure of reading and will continue to read this series to find out what she will think of next for her other characters.

This is the fourth book in Angel series and the books should be read in order. This book directly picks up from the cliffhanger in book 3, Emma.

Connie Foster is at a cross-roads in her life. She is watching her brother, Ruben, beat up his best friend, Finlay Willis, after learning that he is "together" with Connie.

Yet as Fin lies in the hospital he tells Connie that they are over and she decides to move on with her life. But Connie is holding something back from Fin and will he forgive her when he learns the truth?

This was a great book and a read between the past and the present between Connie and Fin. The story goes back between every time they were together in the past and what keep drawing them back together.

I liked Connie and it was evident that she loved Fin for so long and really wanted to be with him. Yet at the same time she wasn't willing to spend her whole life waiting for him to come around.

I must admit that my feelings for Fin changed through the book as I learned what he had going on in his own past with his father and how he grew up. I hated that he felt that he didn't deserve Connie with everything that was going on in his home life.

I loved how everyone came together in the end when they truly learned what Fin had been dealing with on his own!

Looking forward to Lily's story next!
